Good morning,I am reaching out to you for support regarding poor customer service experienced with the ********************** Company. I purchased multiple rechargeable batteries, and unfortunately, the charger malfunctioned. On February 22nd, I contacted customer support via phone and provided all requested information to facilitate a replacement.Since then, despite sending follow-up emails on February 23rd, March 3rd, and March 5th, my concerns have been met with inconsistent communication. Many emails have been ignored, while others request additional information not previously mentioned. This repetitive cycle makes resolving my issue extremely difficult, and frankly, disrespectful.I would greatly appreciate any assistance or support you can offer in resolving this matter.Business response

I contacted rayovac batteries at the number listed. I told them that their batteries had ruined my mag, light flashlight, and that the batteries would not come out. They are welded inside the tube of the flashlight. The lady said send pictures of which I sent nine along with all the other information they required. Every time I send something to them, they ask for the same thing over and over. Now the lady will not answer my call or pretends that she cant hear me. The lady initially said no problem, and that I would receive a refund as soon as they received the pictures. I hate getting ripped off even if it is for a small amount of money. Please help.Business response

I reached out to Energizer customer service on March 20, 2024 and filed a claim for Energizer Max *** leaking into and permanently damaging my $900 Peltor Communication Headset. I provided them with all the requested pictures that required me to touch the battery, and answered all the questions. They came back several times, asking for the same pictures/information after confirming they received the previous pictures/information. They will give you several false time frames and expectations for the completion/final resolution of your claim and Im still waiting to this day after I was told my claim would need to be reviewed by upper management for approval. Which I was told would only take a couple of days which Im way past now. This is after a supervisor of theirs already confirmed they have all the necessary pictures/information for approval of the claim. They will drag your case out as long as they can I feel to see if you will give up so they dont have to pay you. which Im definitely not doing my next step is small claims court. They claim their batteries are guaranteed not to leak or they will pay you guaranteed but it seems like they will do everything in their power to drag out your case to delay paying you or not pay you at all. A bunch of crooks cant wait to take them to court if they dont resolve this.Business response

I purchased a pack of batteries on November 2, 2023. The pack says the batteries are good for 10 years, guaranteed. Around December 25th, I opened the pack to use them, but most of them were corroded. I went back to the store with the receipt, but they said they couldn't take corroded batteries back, even with the receipt. I contacted the manufacturer 3 times, but they have never contacted me back. Even if the batteries were manufactured a few years back, they should still work because they are of a newer design. I would like the company to please provide me with a new pack, I don't want my money back. The pack I purchased is a 36-count AA battery. Thank you.Business response

Energizer states that they will replace an item if battery leaked. One did & damaged a TV remote. Sent them 10 photos of the defective battery & damaged remote. They constantly ask for more photos which would require me to touch the leaking battery & move it to various positions. I do not want to touch the battery & do their analysis of the battery. They never asked for the defective battery to be sent to them so that they can analyze the product. Photos show the battery leaked. They should honor their warranty. Their case number is CAS ****** K5Y0M3.Business response

I purchased four Rayovac A23 batteries from Walmart on 12/11/23 for $19.96 plus tax. The batteries were not responsive. I had them tested and instead of the batteries advertised 12 volt rating they were at 7 volts. Tried to return to Walmart, they would not return, and told me to contact the Rayovac parent company Energizer. I spoke with Energizer Customer service and explained the situation and they agreed they were defective. They requested pictures of the product packaging, the top, side, and bottom of one battery, and the purchase price. I responded via email to all of their requests. I was then instructed to dispose of the old batteries. Energizer then offered to send me a $10 coupon. I emailed them back indicating I should be receiving two $10 coupons. They refused. I have never been manipulated/distrusted by a customer service representative from a large corporation in my life.Business response

I purchased a sealed pack of 20 Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries AA from Amazon on Jan 12, 2023; the package was kept indoors and unopened until December 3, 2023. The package was opened on Dec. 3, 2023 for use on Christmas wreaths with low voltage, short strands of Christmas lights for five hours a day. One of the batteries failed within a week, and since that time 10 of the original pack have failed. I suspect they will all ultimately fail as each day more batteries stop functioning. I initially contacted Energizer on 12/10/23 related to their one-year warranty and have complied with numerous emails sending photos, original invoice, expiration dates, and place of manufacture (*********). Every day there is a new request for the same information I have sent. I sense that they simply want to wear me out and ignore my request for a refund or replacement.Business response

The Energizer MAX battery leaked in my oculus quest 2 controller. The controller no longer works. I've tried a few other batteries and have cleaned up as much of the battery compartment as I could. This just happened today (December 8 2023) and the battery expiration date is supposed to be Dec 2029. There is no such thing as a replacement controller for my quest 2 so I can't even replace it, unless if I go for the quest pro standalone controllers. so I want Energizer to replace it for meBusiness response
