I have spent the total of five hours on the phone with them trying to get a reimbursement because they overcharged me and overcharged our co-pay assistant program which screwed everything up for the year of last year and lead us to take out a personal loan to pay them off.. a total of $12k+ and hope to be paid back by my prescriptions rebate program. They will fill your ears with lies after multiple calls and multiple back and forth scenarios. I ended up owing them over $12,000 but when I looked at each individual bill they were over billing myself and my copay assistance programs this company is absolutely horrendous. They should be put out of business for fraud and patient neglect in my opinion. The crazy part is they kept sending prescriptions racking my bill up and failed to tell me that they over charged my copay assistance program so there for they stopped paying leaving me with an outstanding bill.

My doctor gave me a new prescription on 2/20/25. I had taken this medication a couple of years ago so I thought I'd give it another try. I was shocked today when I saw a notice on my bank statement that Express Scripts had deducted $48.61 from my account. I figured it must be a mistake, because the drug wasn't expensive. I called Express and was told they were giving me the "courtesy" of breaking it up into 3 payments, meaning they still intend to take another $97.22 from my acct. This drug on Good Rx is $29.78 at my local pharmacy. So Express Scripts OVER CHARGED me by $116.05!! I called them immediately, but of course they said it was shipped on Feb. 21, which was 13 days ago so I'm sure they didn't send it then. I am canceling ALL my Express Scripts prescriptions. At ********* some of my meds cost $3 or $4 more, but I can at least SEE the price, and if it's to high, I tell them I don't want it.These people have found a way to convince others that they're providing a fair price service. QUITE THE OPPOSITE.If you're considering using Express Scripts, I highly caution you. DON'T fall for it.

I have never had the displeasure of dealing with a less competent and negligent specialty pharmacy in my life. They were given a prescription by my provider that stated i was to be given FIVE pens of my Eczema medication on February 12th, Accredo drug their feet and "called" my provider several times, I called my insurance provider and they stated it was approved, accredo was trying to send 8 and causing my plan limitation to fail. I have tried multiple times to get this taken care of with no success.

Every year express scripts is given a co-pay assistant card and debit card to cover my ** medication. This has been going on for years. Each year they say the card is denied and I spend hours on the phone between them and my co-pay assistance program trying to iron out the problem and each time it end up being the Express Scripts *** not entering the information correctly. This wastes dozens of hours of my time away from work on me having to do tue job for Express Scripts. When you ask to speak to a manager they make you give a reason to speak to one and then put you on hold for another hour plus and you never get to speak to one. Horrible company who puts peoples lives in jeopardy every day! They should be put out of business!

I'm a physician assistant (PA) who practices in a nursing home; I've been in medicine since 2008. Express Scripts is uniquely terrible. They ask for clarifications on very clear instructions (not filling prescriptions until answered), run drugs through as brand name orders when ordered as generic and are generally make my day miserable. So far, in about 75% of the interactions of had with them to get them to just fill a prescription, the person on the line says, "Oh, I am not sure why this happened or why you had to call". Just got off of a 43-minute conversation because thyroid medication was being denied to a 90 year old nursing woman - "******** requires a prior auth for it". This was phone call #3, two previous were done by my nurses. The prior auth was for a brand name, but they had been on a generic version, and I prescribed... wait for it... the generic version at the same dose they had been on the last 5 years. Express Scripts said, yup, we need a prior auth, let's have to speak to the prior auth specialist. I stressed to the person that I never prescribed a brand-name drug, just the same medication as always. That person said "I just do the prior authorizations, I'll have to transfer you back to find out why it was needed." Once transferred back, person #3, says oh yeah, we didn't need a prior authorization after all, not sure how that happened. 43 minutes. Guys, this is an average interaction with them. PAINFUL. Bureaucratic. Disorganized. Look into filling your scripts somewhere else, please, we doctors/NPs/PAs beg you. Your insurance may be "Express Scripts" but it's likely just as cheap at mail-services like Alto or Cost Plus or even your local pharmacy.

Accredo/Express Scripts has the worst customer service ever. You have to process a refill request 3-4 times before you ever receive the medication. Each call takes 30 mins while they ask you the same exact questions each time. Then the medication never arrives! Its insanity, when I could go to my local pharmacy. I have insurance and I have Express Scripts, but they make me go through Accredo. Its the SAME COMPANY!! This is so inefficient and the reason the whole pharmaceutical industry needs an overhaul!!

Zero stars!!! This is the worst specialty pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. I've been trying for over two weeks, to get my MS ******* filled. I've been on the phone for HOURS and have spoken with no less than 12 people. They tell me they've updated the system, and that it may take ***** hours. When I call back again after 48 hours, of course nothing has been updated, and I have to start all over again!! What they are doing should be illegal!!!!

Run do not walk away from Express Scripts!Terrible customer service, terrible patient support. Express Scripts should be shut down for denying, without cause, patients their important ************* experience and comments are based entirely on my interaction with Express Scripts. After being denied my medication, which I have taken for 15+ years. For three months straight I attempted trying to seek resolution, appeal denial of my prescribed medication until today when I felt no other remedy but to document and share here. After speaking with people who could barely could comprehend a plainly spoken sentence is frustrating enough but to know they hold the fate of you getting your prescribed medication properly filled and billed for is scary. It is a cautionary tale, steer clear of Express Scripts if you want your prescriptions properly filled in a timely manner without judgement by people who have no part in your day to day care. My final resolution after being denied by Express Scripts is to pay out of pocket for my prescription. You can be sure that when the time comes this November to a medical plan I will choose one that does not have Express Scripts as the prescription provider.

40 min plus calls every month. Each agent has a different answer/reason why things are taking so long. It's impossible to get a timely delivery on what is a time sensitive ********* have one job, filling prescription. It takes 5-7 days to validate a prescription that has come to you with pre-approval from insurance. A prepackaged item you place a sticker on and ship, not brain surgery.

Getting medications can sometimes mean life or death and putting Accredo, which is NOT A PHARMACY, a clearing house, a NetflixMIDDLE MAN, a fake company ??, in charge of anything is dangerous! I had the worst experience trying to get ******* for my osteoporosis. Because they could not get my order together for a twelve month cycle, I will have to pay my deductible again (thousands of $) before I can get the final injection. When I mentioned to two doctors, they shared personal Accredo nightmare stories with me. I wouldnt even give them 1 star.
