      In the last 6 months i have ordered parts at my local oreilly auto parts store and part is there next day. Only problem is....its the wrong part, a used part with the package torn open, or grease on the box it came in. I ordered a sway bar in August 2024, paid over ******, took it to the mechanic shop to have them install it. Mechanic noticed the plastic bag it was packaged in was torn open and retaped. He attempted several times to install the part but then looked at the part photo on their site and the bar didnt match the picture...they had sent the Wrong sway bar that had been repacked in the bag with the correct part number. Not only did i have to pay the mechanic for wasting his time, i was forced to drive my vehicle unsafely with no sway bar. I took it back that day and demanded full refund. Today, December 16 i ordered the Heater Control Valve. I went to pick it up this morning and inspecting the part, i opened the greasy box, only to find the plastic package was torn open on both ends, and the part did not match the photo on your site, close but no cigar. I contacted the company chat and told them about it and told them i wanted compensation for the money and time i have wasted. Absolutely ridiculous. At the price of current auto parts, these clowns are sending out used and or mismatched parts with no concern for the paying public.

      I rented a tool came in paid for it had the physical receipt and someone else returned it without receipt and they gave them the cash back

      I am writing to express my outrage and disappointment at the hostile treatment I received from one of your cashiers: Christian, during my visit to your store on Saturday 11/30/24 at about 9:30pm. Within 20 minutes of purchasing an item worth $29.99, I returned to get a refund because item did not fit my rivets. However, the cashier vehemently denied my return request, citing item was opened and used. What escalated my concern was his extremely aggressive tone, raised voice, and blatant disrespect throughout our interaction. His abrupt refusal to process the return was justified solely by stating "we are about to close" -ignoring all reasonable customer service protocols.But what cut deepest was being treated like a cheap thief because I wanted to return an item within minutes of purchase. This blatant insult stripped me of dignity as a *********** further aggravate the situation, when I hinted at reporting his behavior to his manager, he yelled "I DON'T CARE TELL MY MANAGER!" He refused to provide your contact information or a business card, he simply yelled "THE MANAGER'S NAME'S ******* AND NO I'M NOT WRITING DOWN HIS NAME FOR YOU!" then he TOSSED a pen across the counter at ***** is unacceptable to employ someone who poses such a risk to customer safety and dignity. I hope you will investigate this incident urgently and take appropriate action to ensure customers receive respectful treatment at your store because that night was horrifying.

      They screwed up several times in just 2 weeks with us!! They gave us back brakes instead of front after looking it up together! I had to order a part that wasn't supposed to be there for 2 weeks, paid shipping and handling, someone called the next day to say it was in and it was not!!

      I've been a regular customer at this store for over two years. I have made at least four purchases there within the past six months, and after my first purchase in this time frame, I was told that I would receive a $15 coupon for my next purchase. I had another three purchases already after that, but they are telling me that I need to show them a coupon, which supposedly should've been sent to me by text or email, but I haven't received any. About a month ago I went there to find out why I didn't receive the coupon, and I was told that I have over 450 points in my account and they have no idea why I am not getting any coupons. I went there again today and spoke with the manager who told me that now I only have 42 points and he said that they are having some issues with their system, so he is not sure why I am not getting coupons. This is absolutely ridiculous!!! I told them that I will stop doing business with them and will take my business to **** store that is even bit closer to my home. Just want to let other customers know to avoid doing business with this dishonest company.

      I purchased a remanufactured starter from their store in *********, Ks., prior to installing it, I had the old starter tested at their store. The clerk told me it "failed" the bench test.Installed the remanufactured one, changing nothing, the truck, still won't start.Went back to the store, ask to have the old starter retested, and was told it "pulled too many amps and needed replaced". Had I been told this the day before I wouldn't have put the new one on. The truck was starting just fine, until this issue, which we ended up tracing to the transponder key had failed.

      Just go somehwere else, the locations everywhere have no customer service, they provide the wrong information and when u try to get help or inform them over the phone through customer service they're just as bad, this whole company is trash. Went to get low beam lights, ******** was basically laying over the counter watching TV on his phone and acted like I was a bother just walking in and then didn't even do his job correctly. Gave me the wrong part. So I'm down 60 dollars BECAUSE of course I had to open the package to put the lights in my car only to find out it's the wrong part. Tried to exchange it at a different location because I was traveling and pay the difference because the lights i needed were more expensive but they said 1. It had to be from the original store and 2. It's opened so I can't exchange it. Then the second ******** was trying to do back alley deals. ******* from the ********************************* al location was wanting me to pay cash for it at a lesser amount without a receipt! What does that tell you, he was going to give the light to me and pocket the cash. I don't know what type of people they hire but it's obviously not trustworthy ones.

      Customers I warn you do not go to the ********************** auto store on ****************************************************************. They are full of ? Let me tell you that they screwed me 7 seven times over the past year with auto parts I needed to get my car fixed. Last week Friday I bought some brake pads and I ask the employee TWICE if he was sure that these were the correct ones and he said yes. Then ******** my car fixed on the past Monday and the manager told me it was the wrong ones. Oh I was FURIOUS! I called them and went I mean went off! The manager lady I spoke to said she would have the DM call me and never did I get a phone call. I am sooooooo done with OReilly. Never will they get my business again. This is one of the worst stores along with auto zone to go to. So people if you want to get right parts for your car DONT go there at all. Big forewarning! Im very disappointed with them!
