            ASAP Appliance Repair Service is advertising a "free service call with any repairs over $59.00" on its website. My wife saw the offer and booked a repair of our washing machine, assuming the offer would be honored, but it was not. We were charged the $89 service call fee and the repairs cost $209. I called the business and spoke with ****, who said that offer is no longer valid and needs to be taken down from the website. He said the offer was put on the site in 2017 when they first started the business but was only valid for the first year, but remains on the website. He then got defensive and said he could revoke any offer at any time and offered to give me $30, which isn't what the offer said. ASAP Appliance Repair Service is misleading consumers by not taking this invalid offer off their website and then saying it won't be honored anymore when asked about it.             The icemaker in our 12yo Kitchenaid frig had broken and then was badly "repaired" by a different service I thought I could trust. It was a mess. I called ASAP and explained the mess to **** and we talked a bit about what was probably going on. Our repairman was **** and **** clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He quickly spotted the problems the other guy had left and understood what needed to be done to fix it.I was impressed that he tried to make the icemaker work for us while he ordered the correct part. It didn't work, but we appreciated the attempt. A few days later he installed the new icemaker and fixed a clogged drain thingee that had apparently just developed in this icemaker-from-hell. Hooray! All fixed!Unfortunately, the moisture accumulated on the tracks of the pull-out ice bin froze the thing shut! We didn't know that was the problem, but **** honored the 30-day guarantee on the service call and came back and fixed it!At all times ASAP was highly responsive, up front about all pricing and treated us fairly. I am very glad to have found ASAP Appliance Repair. They have permanently replaced that other guy as my "call them first" appliance repair service!
