Recently I made a payment arrangement to pay off this loan. I have been paying as agreed. Today I check the Clarity Svcs credit report to see they are marking me as in collections, which should state current. This is very punitive and unfair. I am asking that this status be changed to current. These loans are already extremely high interest, which is the entire reason I had trouble paying in the first place. Like many people I fell on hard times, I took out a loan with plain green which they were charging over $100 bi-weekly at over 300% interest. It got hard on me I couldnt pay especially with that kind of interest rate that is illegal in **********! I had to close out my bank account. Never received any emails from them trying to collect so they sent me to a third party collection that was not a legal collection company called *** I made a payment arrangement with them because they were threatening legal action and calling other family members so I was able to get them to stop and stop paying them since they arent legitimate. Now I was contacted again and so were my parents which is illegal to give information about me. When I called the number back I was told this was a last resort collection company and that I needed to pay $100 bi-weekly or $500 to settle in a panic I settled for $100 once a month. I was told they would send a cease and desist letter to plain greens and I would receive an email, but if I stopped paying legal action would happen. This morning I called because I didnt receive an email and the man was very rude made me feel dumb saying I only set it up yesterday not 48hrs and thats how long emails can take, yet as soon as I get off the line and a few minutes go by theres an email. I asked if they had a website and he said No it was account department with plain green. Everything this company is doing is illegal! No one in my family should be contacted or given my reference numbersBusiness Response

A loan was borrowed for $700 . No information or paper work was provided regarding anything to this loan and when I asked for documentation to be sent , documents were not sent . I have lost my job and had tragic death in family and couldnt pay anything and now the balance is over $1700. This is fraud . I was told by the chat representative that we are charged interest DAILY ! I would have never signed anything for this loan if I knew this is the way they do business with people. We can barely survive as it is , thats why we borrowed money and to be charged what they are charging ON THE DAILY is so wrong. And I am still waiting for documentation regarding this matter. I am rejecting this response because:This company never sent documents of anything for this loan. They simple give an approval through the website which was strange in the first place but I trusted it for the reason that I was desperate due to job loss, you also cannot see any loan documents on their website. Anything that I signed and now are now sending me information that I have never seen before and if they have proof of emails of when this loan was approved, they need to provide that because I would have sent this money back IMMEDIATELY! All you can see is your payment due on website and what is passed due. And that is why I reached out because I had no idea that the interest was being charged daily as originally loan was $700 and now its over $1700. I have researched this company and now have found out that so many others have fallen into the same situation, of not being aware of how this company works and not knowing what their interest rates are on a DAILY basis. Its absolutely outrageous and how could a person pay that back ? I cant afford it and wont be able to pay that back.

I received an email from plain green loans stating that I had a loan with them and needed to make a payment on 2/3. I have never filled out anything in ** e with this company. I have had to deal with the collection department my entire loan since they have due dates opposite my pay day. I normally pay once im paid. So today i paid my past due amount of *****. But still, i keep getting phone calls and emails and texts harassing me about this. I have provides them screenshots for proof but they ignore it and give me copy and paste answers. I borrowed $1250 from plain loans. I read the agreement that interest is accrued daily on the principal. I had paid back the principal of $1250. But I still have left to pay the interest on the loan, but they told me that still a $2.30 interest charge will still be added on interest owed until paid in full. Yet they still charge $385 a month on top of that. I could be wrong but isnt it illegal to charge interest on the interest owed. Its really frustrating because it seems like they make it difficult to payback even though you were struggling in the first place. If im wrong then im wrong but in the agreement it says daily interest accrued on the unpaid principal, not the interestBusiness Response

I applied for a loan with Plain Green Loans on either 10/4/24 or 10/5/24. This "lender" (the word Loan Shark would be much more appropriate to describe them) will not stop harassing me. I applied for a personal loan for $500. When I received my loan documents to sign, they wanted me to pay back OVER $4,000.00. This has got to be illegal! I asked them to stop emailing me. When they responded and asked why, I told them I was not going to obtain a loan from them due to their ridiculous terms, fees and interest rates. They responded and said they will stop sending me emails; however, they emails have continued to the point of harassment. Every time I receive an email, I respond and tell them to stop emailing me. They will not. I am getting multiple emails per day, every day. Any help you could give in making them stop emailing me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.Business Response

Around 7/25/24 I took out a loan with this company for $1250. To date I have paid them $530. Their interest rate violates Indiana law at 597%! I called them and asked to just pay the principle remaining of $720 and they couldn't agree to that. I told them I paid off a previous loan with them including all of their absurd interest. They wouldn't agree. I asked over and over for them to send email me their Indiana Lending License, they couldn't do that. This loan is not legal in *******, and I am willing to settle with them in an arrangement for the remaining $720. That is the settlement arrangement I am looking for.Business Response
