I was told that I could skip a payment as long as was not back to back on the modified payment. I chatted and asked to do this. I was told not a option and was basically called a liar even though I have proof. The person was very rude and tried to give me so called options that don't work. I need them to give me the option I was told I could do

I am rejecting this response because:
I already delt with customer service and was told that I can not do as i was previously told I could do. I even told them that I have proof that I was told I could skip payment as long as was not back to back with modified and was basically called a liar. Your company lied to me and unfortunately did not allow me to do as I needed when I was told I could do that and caused me even more stress due to over draft acct because of my extremely unexpected expense that came up.
      Sincerely,

      Dear Better Business Bureau:

Cash Advance Now is in receipt of the above-referenced complaint filed with the BBB.  We take all comments, good or bad, very seriously.  The following is our response to the items noted.

We would like to take this opportunity to provide you with some background information on our company, its business practices, and our actions in response to our customer.  ****************** is committed to complying with the principles of federal consumer protection laws and regulations, as well as the laws of the Fort ******* Indian Community.  Cash Advance Now discloses the total cost to a borrower if only the minimum payment schedule is followed, and we inform our customers that this is an expensive form of borrowing.  The APR is disclosed on the Cash Advance Now website and is prominently displayed in loan documents that are reviewed and signed by the customer.

Our process should not affect consumer FICO scores. Cash Advance Now does not perform credit checks with the three major credit reporting bureaus, but we may use alternative providers to verify identity data points and active military status. These alternative providers may use information obtained through the major reporting bureaus, and these checks may simply show up as soft inquiries on consumer FICO reports.

It appears the complainant is claiming Cash Advance Now is somehow responsible for the inquiries and violations appearing on their credit report.  We can confirm that Cash Advance Now is not affiliated with any of the entities that appear on the complainants credit report.  While we strive to provide excellent customer service, we cannot control the actions of unaffiliated entities and banking institutions, and we suggest the complainant seek recourse against those entities.

We certainly understand that everyone faces financial difficulties from time-to-time, but the loan agreement signed by ******************* is legally binding.  Thus, we have every right to expect payment as scheduled in the agreement.  To date, ******************* has only made a partial repayment towards the total outstanding loan balance.

As noted above, Cash Advance Now is subject to robust consumer protection requirements.  We want to treat our customers well and ensure that they are pleased with our product.  Thank you for the opportunity to respond.

On 04/03/24, I was looking at loans for $550, when I saw how high the rates were for Cash Advance Now, I closed the tab and DID NOT SIGN ANY DOCUMENTS. The next day (04/04/24), I get a deposit of $550 in my bank, I thought maybe I had sign something and started my payments of $78.34. I have successfully done 10 payments of $78.34 which should be MORE THAN ENOUGH to repay a loan of $550. I get an email says my payment had been returned and I still have a balance of $2045.68!!! For a LOAN OF $550!!! And it was being sent to collections!!! This is freaking ridiculous as Ive already paid off $550!!!! And should not have remaining balance!!! Apparently, ** suppose to be paying $78.34 until 12/12/24 with a final payment of $62.18 on 12/19/24 again for A LOAN OF $550 that I DONT EVEN RECALL SIGNING A DOCUMENT FOR. YET THEY HAVE RECEIVED 10 PAYMENTS OF $78.34 WAY OVER PAYING $550. I do not believe I owe this company any MORE MONEY let alone $2,045.68. Let me repeat THIS WAS A LOAN FOR $550.

While paying off my loan in full, the Cash Advance Agent charged my debit card twice for the payment in the amount of $1,252.56. The payoff amount was $626.28. After I informed them of the error, I was hassled to call my bank with them on the phone to verify their error. Although, the error was verified, Cash Advance refused to refund my money to my bank account that day. I made them whole that day by paying off my loan in full. Cash Advance left me holding the bag with an overdrafted account. Its unfair to me that they were enriched today, and I was not. Poor customer relations. I need the bureaus help to get my money back.

When I originally applied for Cash Advance now, I was having difficulty with my application when I called in I was informed that they do not usually work with clients. They get paid once a month then they switched up and said that they do but it would change the way that I would pay them back, and it was exceedingly more, I mentioned that that was a bit too expensive and then at the time I was not interested in those rates and the person pushed and I said no and I declined. At the time I said I was no longer interested. I didnt continue to get applications and did not see the terms. While I was in the line next thing, I know I am sent another agreement which I was not expecting and did not see the same terms discussed on the phone previous. I had already declined so when I asked about these terms signed this thinking that they had a thinking that they had amended the agreement to become more favorable. The person had a hard time explaining in the terms to me and I wasnt quite understanding of it so I was still set to decline. After getting off the phone, I saw another agreement that was different a lot a tad more favorable and I thought to give it a chance. At that time I was not explained just how high the interest rate was and did not realize that the agreement also would take a monthly fee of $356 out of my account. The terms outlining this say that for the amount I financed I would pay several thousand dollars, which is not clear on the documents I was sent. I have now paid over $650 on this loan of $550 and apparently will be set to pay this until October at this shocking rate.

On 03/18/24. I took out a loan for $600 with repayments of $155.48 every two weeks. I made my first payment of $155.48 on 03/29/24 which is not displaying from my online account with them. Earlier this week I chatted with an agent named ******* and asked her why isn't my payment displaying so I could keep up with it and she stated that it takes 3-5 days for it to show up online. Well, today I should be able to log on and see that display which I have not. I knew how tricky these people were when I took out the loan so they need to do their job and put that I made a payment on that date and stop playing around.

I am rejecting this response because: Like I stated before if it was applied to my account I should be able to view. They are liars. they it is this way because my interests changes daily and that has nothing to with me being able watch my loan and where my money is going. they talk about how I have only made one payment as if it nothing. They should be happy that people are foolish enough to deal with them after what they have done to so many people. I got an email talking about a one time settlement of $444.52 but still can't talk to anyone when i call. Next step ********** of ******** Finance. Great Plains isn't even legal in my state.I won't settle with people who are ghosting me!

      Sincerely,

      *************************

      Dear Better Business Bureau:

Cash Advance Now is in receipt of the above-referenced complaint filed with the BBB.  We take all comments, good or bad, very seriously.  The following is our response to the items noted.

We communicated with ************************* directly in an effort to resolve their previously expressed concerns on April 12, 2024.  As indicated in our prior response, ******************* first payment was received on March 29, 2024 and was applied to their balance in accordance with the terms of the loan agreement.

Despite the complainants claims in their rejection of our initial response, ************************* has in fact been in communication with our customer service representatives and advised that he will be calling on April 26, 2024 to make final payment arrangements to satisfy the remaining principal on his account, which we had previously offered to accept as settlement.

As noted above, Cash Advance Now is subject to robust consumer protection requirements.  We want to treat our customers well and ensure that they are pleased with our product.  Thank you for the opportunity to respond.

      Respectfully,

      Cash Advance Now
