On 2/7/24 I parked in the designated visitors spot and registered my vehicle. I received confirmation from LMS via email. The next morning on 2/8, there was a wheel lock on my vehicle. When I contacted the number listed to inquire, I was rudely informed that there’s a 7 day limit. However if that’s the case, WHY WOULD THEIR SYSTEM send me confirmation that I could park in this location if it wasn’t allowed? I was not aware of this rule but they clearly are. This is very much a flaw in their system and they should be held responsible. If this is their company parking rule, then their system should not allow for a confirmation to be granted. Instead it should give a denial with the reason. HAD I WOULD HAVE KNOWN, I WOULD NOT HAVE PARKED MY VEHICLE. I would’ve parked it at my mothers house as I’ve done in the past since I have 2 vehicles. This is giving scam to beat hard working people out of their money. Anybody would clearly think their vehicle is fine since a confirmation was received. A confirmation email giving approval is just that… approval to park and that should be honored. I am highly upset about this whole ordeal and had to take unpaid time off work.

      Hello,

LMS Parking enforces the regulations put in place by the apartment community's management team in accordance with local ordinances. It is the vehicle owner's responsibility to adhere to the community's posted parking rules. All registration forms list out these rules, which must be agreed to before submitting. Any vehicle found to be parked in violation of the community's parking rules is subject to being wheel locked or towed.

      Respectfully,

      LMS Parking Management

I recently got my car booted, my friend recently moved in the apartments and I tried calling multiple times to get the boot off but nobody answered. I emailed the company and still haven’t received a reply. It’s been 2 weeks and they towed my car. I was helping my friend move his stuff into his apartment and I left my car in an empty parking spot and I didn’t know that there were visitor parking spots available at the time. I decided to stay the night since it was getting too late. In the morning my car was booted and I tried removing it that same day and asking for forgiveness since I didn’t know. But nobody answered. I find it very unfair to have to pay to get my car back after being towed and paying all that money when they don’t even pick up the phone or answer their emails. All I want is to get my car back.

On Monday, November 13th, I went to a friend's apartment to work on an assignment. The resident gave me a code to enter, and I entered all necessary information into the LMSparking website before leaving my vehicle in the lot. For those unaware, the "guest parking lot" has an online sign in. Shortly before midnight, I returned to my car to find it booted. I called the number, and someone came to unboot my car. After I explained and went through the exact information I had entered as well as the password given to me by the resident, the employee stated that my car won't be unbooted until I paid, and that I had to take their word that my car was not in the system as they "had no way to know if I was trustworthy", but that I could contact the office to discuss further. When I called, I was given an email of someone I could talk to. I reached out and have waited over a month for a response even after multiple follow up calls. I have dealt with this company before and was extra careful with following their procedures. After this experience, I consider this company and their practices predatory against Boone and specifically the college students that make up most of the population that cannot fight back against them financially.

My Work truck was booted and I pay for parking. I reached out to speak with a Manager he was very rude, this is by far the worst experience I’ve had with a company and customer service. I’m late and probably going to miss work when I already pay a parking fee to park here for two cars. I do not recommend living anywhere that deals with this company.

On 11/4/2023. LMS placed a vehicle wheel lock on my vehicle, despite my vehicle being registered as a visitor in advance (1 day prior) and being parkerd in front of the Register your vehicle sign. Despite the person making the boot, stating that he was aware that the vehicle was registered, he placed the boot anyway. Mr. Damian, was rude and condescending. He stated that it really didn't matter that the car was registered, and parked in front of the visitor registration sign, he didn't view the spot as a visitor parking spot. He continued, that he was not concerned, because I could pay now or I would be calling him later to remove the vehicle wheel lock. He refused to provide any form of identification, he had nothing indicating that he worked for LMS and was in an unmarked vehicle. He reiterated that the cost would be $220 if I paid with CASH. He also stated that I could have parked the car ion the street around the corner from the apartment complex and walked over. The entire interaction felt fradulant and as a woman, I felt the inappropriate placement of the vehicle wheel lock and conversation in the middle of the night was dangerous for me as a women and the interaction felt very not valid. It became very obvious as the night went on that this was just an attempt to receive money and Mr. Damian knew that I was at his mercy if I wanted to move my car. The entire interaction felt like a planned, executed money grab by LMS.

My car was booted because I parked over the white line at an apartment complex that I have a parking pass for, visibly in my windshield. My boyfriend’s car was booted in a visitor parking spot that he ALWAYS parks in. Damien came to remove the boot and told us that the card machine was down so we would have to go get cash from the bank. We then had to pay an additional $20 because he didn’t inform us that we needed to get cash. I asked did we need to move the car or was it fine, he said that it was fine because they can’t boot the same vehicle twice in 24 hours. Well 2 hours later his car had been booted again!! I called and reported Damien and the “manager” said we still had to pay the $200. A $200 fee to get a boot removed is expensive and ridiculous. And Damien told us that the car was fine until the rest of the day. I want my money back!

I am rejecting this response because: YOUR employee Damien told me that the car was fine because LMS cannot boot the same car twice without 24 hours. The car was booted again after paying the $200 to remove it the first time. I want a refund because this whole situation is the fault of YOUR employee, not me!!

Booted a car with a visitors parking pass. Sign that states “don’t park beyond the tree was waste level below a tree covered by cars (not visible whilst driving down the road nor walking away from the car.) Note: They booted others who had a visitors pass as well and who did not pass the tree

The lms parking for novel is predatory and they are mean they are collecting money from everyone that stay here. I explained the office was closed when I got home to check my mailbox for the parking pass however the name on the sticker wasn't my name so instead of taking the sticker off I left it on the white paper and sat it on the console. I explained I had leave here two months I just switched he'd buildings from 1 to 5 and there was no remorse. He basically told me to get off his line and that he couldn't talk to me. The office was closed when I got home from work and checked the mail box so I couldn't call anyone else and it's the wrong person name do I didn't open it just left it on the sticker and they still charged me and I had no other option my baby had to go to the hospital but my car has been register and parked over her for months now

I parked at an apartment complex, visiting friends for 4 hours, on 10/4 and parked in a spot labeled “visitors”. I filled out the registration and got 2 letters mixed up in the license plate. I told the “agent” I was dyslexic, and have a doctors note to back it up, and she said sorry still have to charge $160! For a mistake with a medical diagnosis? Isn’t that illegal? This place is such a scam and will do whatever to get your money even for a simple mistake. Absolutely disgusting and sad considering the times we are in.

      10/08/2023

      Hello,

When registering a vehicle it is extremely important that the vehicle's unique and specific license plate is entered correctly. The registration form requires all applicants to enter their vehicle license plate number in twice to aid in not making mistakes. In addition there is a large warning text that states if the vehicle license plate is typed incorrectly the vehicle will be at risk of being wheel locked at the vehicle owner's expense. Unfortunately typing in the vehicle information wrong, twice, will result in the vehicle being registered incorrectly and at risk of being wheel locked or towed.

I am rejecting this response because:

I said I am dyslexic. I legit mixed up the 2 and 4 in my license plate. It was an honest mistake, yet the company won’t budge and thinks unlocking a wheel is worth $160. I’d understand if I was taking advantage of the parking, but I wasn’t. It doesn’t take a genius to see the license plate and see that I mixed it up. You had the zone I was in, the color, make and model, the name of the tenant, and yet I had to have my license perfect? It’s predatory and you guys should be ashamed of what you all do.

I was charged $100 cash or $120 credit for parking in my apartment complex. I had been having car troubles with the car that was registered with LMS so I brought it into the shop and my mother lent me her car for the timebeing . I thought the issue would resolve quickly, so I simply registered this vehicle for visiting hours. When it expired, I was unable to renew the parking until the next day. As soon as I woke up the next morning I registered the behicle and got a confirmation email saying that my vehicle was okay to be parked in the lot until October 5th (it is currently October 2nd). They booted my car at 2am and when I went to go to work at 9 am I was unable to leave. They gave no leniency for my car issues or the fact that I pay rent to park and live there. The signs around the premises were not clear and many were broken.

      Hello,

Vehicles parked within the community must be registered at all times. Emails are sent when time is about to expire and when a time session was created with the chosen expiration time. Unfortunately if time has expired the vehicle is at risk of being wheel locked or towed.
