    Our furniture was picked up in ********,** on Dec. 12, 2021 for a move to Michigan. First complaint, we found out the items were going to CA for temporary storage, not our destination of MI. Second, we contacted Mayzlin on Jan. 2, 2022 and told them our destination would be ready for delivery on Jan. 15, 2022. We kept getting delay notices weekly until finally we were told it was on a truck with 5 other deliveries and would arrive Feb. 22, 2022 after three of those deliveries were made, one in ***** and one in ************. On Feb. 22, 2022 the driver called and said he would arrive at our home at about 6 P.M. Third, the truck was so large he had to back onto our street and drove over 3 of our neighbors lawns leaving large ruts. The driver and ONE helper had to search through the unlighted truck for our items, several which we never found after searching the delivery days later. Fourth, several pieces of furniture were damaged and we were only reimbursed $66 for the repairs which cost us a couple hundred dollars. Our biggest objection was the 6 week delay in receiving our furniture after us giving a two week notice that we were ready for delivery. We have moved 11 times in our 60 years of marriage and this was by far the worst experience we ever had. Think carefully before hiring this company.

    First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience the customer has endured during the move. It is never our intention that customers will have a less than satisfying experience.Per the **** of Lading governing the customer's move, the customer chose to release their goods to the carrier under the limited liability coverage of 60 cents per lb. per article to which their signature attests. Under this choice of coverage, the carrier's legal liability for loss or damage is limited to 60 cents per lb. per article and will only apply when the loss or damage claimed is determined to be due to the carrier's negligence or mishandling of the customer's goods.???????This coverage was provided to the customer free of charge as required by federal regulations and allowed them to enjoy lower rates for their move. The customer had the opportunity to select the Full Value (Replacement) Protection at an additional cost but elected to decline the additional coverage and costs related to it.The customer was asked what the date will be the first available date they will be ready for delivery. The customer ********************* that it would be determined upon pick up and later on contacted us to confirm he would be available for delivery on January 15th. From that date, we have up to 30 business days to attempt the delivery of the shipment, therefore the delivery was completed within the agreed time frame. We will not guarantee a date for delivery unless a dedicated truck was requested and paid for. We must take into consideration road conditions, weather, and mechanical issues that can affect truck routes. Everything that was agreed upon is in writing and it is the customers responsibility to verify all their needs are included in the original estimate.Per the information on our file, your claim has been settled and paid on 06/13/2022. You have selected to accept the settlement and release the carrier from any future claims and/or complaints of whatsoever nature regarding your shipments Order No. T4141297. By filing this complaint you are in breach of the contractual agreement you have agreed to, signed, and were paid for.

    Moving is very stressful to begin with. My direct contact was with *********************************. Not only did she make me feel at ease but went above and beyond to help me with a virtual tour from a friends phone since my camera was broken. She is very professional and followed up with a quote by phone and an extensive email. I felt like I was her best friend at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this company for long distance moves or any moves. She also , knowing my situation, made me feel at ease and worked to give me the best price ever. You're awesome *********.     Review of *********************************, Mayzlin Moving June 7, 2022 She is honest to a fault, upfront, yet kind,We did a ****** Duo video walkthrough (real time two-way video walk through) where I walked though my house with the cell phone video camera on, while she took notes at her office and created an inventory list. I was amazed at her quick grasp and attention to detail. I appreciated her helpful suggestions, even when I wasnt ready to bite the bullet and accept harsh reality. She kept her good humor and continued to help, even when she knew her quote was higher than I budgeted. She came back with an updated quote within two hours when I asked her to remove all the expensive items from the move. I so wanted to go with Mayzlin because ********* was the face of the company to me. I hope Mayzlin knows the immense value ********* brings to the Company.Thanks, *******

    What can I say. Den was friendly active and friendly with the move. The services were on time and accurate to order..No pieces were broken or missing. The company really made sure all the furniture and equipment were intact. Highly recommend these guys for local or long distance moves. Wow what can I say. They are definitely insured and gave us some relief.

    I have only had negative experiences each time I've had to interact with Mayzlin representatives during my move. The Mayzlin phone representatives will tell me one thing and then go immediately against their word. I've asked to speak with a supervisor twice but each time I've asked they tell me the supervisor can't speak with me because he/she is too busy. Initially, I was told that Mayzlin would pick up my belongings from ****pm but the movers didn't show up until 7pm. I then found out that my stuff wouldn't get to me until 11 days after pick up when I was initially told 1-2 business days by multiple phone reps. ** then, it was too late to ask for a refund because my belongings were already gone. I've inquired about this poor experience to Mayzlin several times and each time they reference the "agreement" I signed and will not hold their phone reps responsible for their words/actions. Additionally, I was told by a phone rep that a box truck would be used for the drop offs. I then find out 3-4 days before the scheduled drop off that it will be coming in on an 18 ******* and a box truck would now cost me extra. Do not use this company. They will nickel and dime you whenever they have the chance and mislead you every step up the way.

It is never our intention for our customers to be less than satisfied with our services.The sales representative is not the companys spokesperson and is not in a position to determine any refunds, post pickup discounts, compensations, or even estimated time of arrivals unless first verified and approved by the dispatch department.The customer was asked what the date will be the first available date they will be ready for delivery. The customer ************************/**/**. From that date, we have up to 21 business days to attempt the delivery of the shipment. We will not guarantee a date for delivery unless a dedicated truck was requested and paid for. We require that customers are available an entire day for the arrival of the truck as its time of arrival is dependent on many elements we must take into consideration road conditions, weather, and mechanical issues that can affect truck routes. Everything that was agreed upon is in writing and it is the customers responsibility to verify all their needs are included in the original estimate.Although we work very hard to meet our customers requested pick-up and delivery dates, sometimes it is not always an option for a variety of reasons which makes the logistics of the moving industry complicated and unpredictable.We would like to apologize for any inconvenience that the customer may have experienced.     ********************************* is our agent who was extremely helpful in getting us started on our move from ****** to *****. She gave us a detailed overview for the entire moving process, and also made and kept her promise to us that she would be available as support and a resource throughout the process. ********* was always quick to respond and was able to direct us to the right person for any requests or questions we had. We had a very narrow window for our moving date, but thankfully ****** from customer service was very accommodating. ****** went out of her way to make sure our moving date would pose no problems. As the time approached the moving ********************, of the quality assurance, FaceTimed with us to give an updates on the final estimate. Finally, on the day of the move, we were so impressed by ****** and his team. ****** and his team were professional and very efficient in loading up our many items. When they had some trouble getting one of our couches through the front door, they took the trouble to carrying the couch out through the window to avoid any damage to the couch or the door frame.Our new home in ****** is not yet ready and Mayzlin has stored our belongings in one of their storage units until we are able to confirm the delivery date. We hope the delivery process would be as good as our experience with the loading such that all of our items would be in good condition. I will update the review when the final delivery is completed.

    The Mayzlin representative on the phone was extremely helpful and friendly when we first spoke. We were told:1. Mayzlin uses their own trucks and staff, and our shipment would only use one truck to get to our destination.2. Mayzlin uses a three day pickup window, would deliver in a week, and uses a three day drop off window.3. That our quoted price might increase based on square footage, but it wouldn't double.Here is what happened:We were given a pickup date, and the drivers showed up 5 hours late, in a RENTED enterprise truck. The team of 5 men had only one that spoke English, and his English was high school level at best. After analyzing our boxes, they up charged us 300% from the original quote. I understand the need to charge more based on an increase in square footage, but expecting to pay 4k and then owing 12k is unacceptable. The employee conveniently didn't speak English well enough to explain this upcharge efficiently.After the boxes were loaded, we had to sign paperwork that stated the shipment would take a month to arrive. We were informed the rented enterprise truck wouldn't be going to our destination. They were taking it to a warehouse to unload, then reload a different truck to drive to an 18 *******, only to unload and load again, before going to our destination. On top of all that, after the boxes left our house, no one at the company would take my call or respond to me for over a week. The boxes arrived to my destination around 14 days after pickup, despite being told a week, and we were missing two boxes. The delivery was unloaded by hired day laborers at the location, and asked me if I would be paying them in cash. Apparently Mayzlin doesn't even properly pay their hired day laborers. I have a strong feeling there are some labor laws being broken here.I understand the logistical complications of this type of business, but this company directly lied to me on three important issues. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

    We used Mayzlins service for a move from ** to **. Delivery was anticipated within 7 days but we received our furniture on day 11. Had to contact the company several times for ETA of delivery. Several items were admittedly damaged by the movers: chairs, mirrors, etc. Walls were damaged while moving furniture into new residence. Movers were flippant about acknowledged damages they caused by stating to just add the damages onto the insurance claim. The customer service representative that promptly responded to our concerns, provided us the contact information to submit our claim. However, registration for our claim remains incomplete because we did not receive a **** of lading despite asking Mayzlin to provide this. So while Mayzlin provided the insurance information, our claim cannot be processed until the **** of lading is received. We have not received compensation for the damages to date. Our already stressful long distance moving experience was made worse with all of this.

Up to 05/24/2022 no claim has been received. Once the claim is received it will be analyzed in the order it was received and compensation will be offered based on our legal liability and within the time frame allowed by law. For further assistance with filing claims you may contact CSI directly at ************ or online at ****************** Per our Estimate and **** of Lading governing this move, we have up to 30 business days from our first available date to deliver the shipment. Although we work very hard to meet our customers requested pick-up and delivery dates, sometimes it is not always an option for a variety of reasons which makes the logistics of the moving industry complicated and unpredictable.We regret the customer found it necessary to file a complaint, but trust that the above explanation enables them to better understand our position in this matter.

    Moved me from ***** to ******* the movers where fast and efficient all my belongings and furniture came in place and not broken the movers and driver was very professional I will definitely he giving them a call back for my next move also the pay was very accurate and didn't have to go over my pay estimate thank you so much!

    Mayzlin did an awesome job with moving my stuff from ******* ** to ******* **. All processes from beginning were clear, starting from making estimates (had to do a couple of them) and with team showing up in time, all clean, respectful and professional guys!
