    Account: ************************* ******* called me regarding a transaction of $49.95 to my account. I did not authorized this transaction. I was only using the service under the trial period. This is deceiving. You advertise a "Free" Template and then hook us into the 7 day "Free" trial and then charge us. This is fraud advertising. Please return my money. I only needed the service for one document. I am going to report you to the BBB They won't return my money. I do not intend to use the services. I cancelled the subscription of which I didn't authorize a subscription. FRAUD

    Hi I have been charged multiple times by this company and I have tried to cancled multiple times can you please help me? On March 3rd I was charged *****, on march 31st I was charged ***** and in April 28th I was charged *****. I dont know how to cancel the subscription is there any chance can you help me and get my money back I havent used this service.

    ************************** advertises "free legal templates" on line. I searched for a simple Bill of Sale, downloaded it, and authorized the $1.00 charge. They offered a **************** which I Immediately rejected. When I just got my Credit Card statement, both $1.00 and an added $48.95 were billed on the same day, 4/28/2025. I've asked their online Chat for a refund, which they refuse, based on more than 7 days paggase.

    February 27, 2025 I purchased a legal document for $1, to help my 18 year old son to purchase a home by owner. I knew we were supposed to cancel a subscription with 7 days or we would incur a charge. March 1, my husband lost his job in the government cuts, no notice, no severance pay. We forgot to cancel. As soon as we saw the charge on the credit card we immediately called to explain the situation. We sat waiting on their "live chat" for over 30 minutes. Their website directed us to email them. I sent an email that day, explaining the whole situation and asking for mercy on our $49.95 mistake. They sent an email back saying the only way to resolve these issues was on their live chat. It is an endless circle and a complete waist of my time. I see others have been able to resolve complaints with them through the BBB. So anyone willing to go to the trouble of reporting their complaint with BBB might get refunded. Probably saves them from having to refund very many people!

    I signed up for the $1 trial and was dissatisfied with the services. When I tried to cancel my LegalTemplates account, the sign in was under the wrong email address and said I had no action to take. The SAME DAY that my bank was charged ***** I contacted support, who informed me that it had been under my business email and not my personal email as I had previously thought and hence why I had no action to take. Yes, that is my error there. I explained the miscommunication between my partner and I regarding email accounts, told them that I never used their services at all after the FIRST day of signing up (I couldn't even get the document I originally signed up for to download because the site is not user friendly) and asked them to please refund my money and cancel my account that I had originally attempted to do in the beginning. After asking about my card info and the correct email used (back and forth emails) I am then told that they cannot issue a refund because of their system, but I will not be charged further AND I still have access to their templates. I clearly stated I DO NOT WANT THE SUBSCRIPTION, I WANTED TO CANCEL AND ATTEMPTED TO BEFORE THE DEADLINE, AND CONTACTED THEM THE LITERAL SAME DAY AS THE CHARGE. This is shady and dishonest business practice.

    On April 13th, I thought I was using the "Free" template to convert some PDFs to JPGs. I was charged $1 for that even though it said it was a free 7 day trial. I was planning on cancelling right after, but I couldn't find where to do that. I noticed today that the $1 fee was charged to my card, as well as a $38.95 charge as well. When I went back into my account and actually found where to cancel my subscription, I was under the "monthly plan" - even though that's $9.95 - not $38.95. I tried getting in touch with the online chat, but nothing ever came up. I am really frustrated because I thought I was getting a free deal because that's how it was advertised, but instead I was scammed and money was taken from me. I have now cancelled my subscription, but I would really appreciate getting a refund for what I was charged.

    On April 13, I attempted to complete there "free" template. To find our it would cost $1 for their 7 day trial. I did agree to that with the intention to cancel directly following. However, I could not find how to cancel the subscription. And my sign in no longer works. Requests for a password reset support via their website goes nowhere. Now a $48.95 subscription fee has shown up on my credit card. The phone number goes to an unsubscribed toll free number. Their chat says they have to connect me to a live agent who never appears. I want my account and subscription canceled.

I was not clearly informed that I would be enrolled in an ongoing paid subscription, nor did I knowingly subscribe to or use their service.     I wont accept it because your customer service team promised to give me at least two months refund, I am not satisfied with your offer especially I have filed a complaint through the platform. If I cant get a full refund, I will suggest my residents and colleagues to use Clio instead of your services. I believe this will bring more damage to your company than giving me a full refund since most of my residents are in business school.     The company sends no invoice or receipt and then has all sorts of unfair justifications on why they cannot refund anything while totally avoiding the fact that you haven't used their service since the free trial.I never received a confirmation email on the days Legaltemplate was taking my money, I only received an email the day I was signed up for the account, suddenly my debit card has been charged monthly for $39.95 without any notification from your company, and have been billed in excess of $359.91. This situation is perplexing, as I have not utilized the service since the trial period concluded, and it seems illogical to maintain an active subscription for a service no longer needed. When I contacted Legal Templates today, **** only helped to confirm that the account has now been canceled and can still access services for next month. This is not an acceptable outcome. This business takes advantage of people by not notifying them on the last day of trial then not notifying monthly that they are taking money.

    I was just charged on March 19 and I have ANOTHER pending charge as of this morning. It hasn't even been 30 days. I have attached a screenshot for your review. I will need to be refunded the new charge as well. We are struggling to make ends meet and this company could possibly be the cause of a negative balance and over draft fees because of this extra charge on our account.

    I still feel they should notify their customers MONTHLY that they are either about to take money or they should send a paid invoice. All of the "free trials" I have ever tried have always notified me that I had x amount of days left or that I will need to cancel by the next day.
