In the fall of 2021, I prepaid for 2022 service. The attached bill shows the basic program is 7 treatments which is what I paid for (prepayment amount). I cancelled one of the services this fall and said to credit my account to go against the billing statement for 2023. Weed man will not credit my account and is saying the bill was only for 6 treatments and did me a favor adjusting it. They didn't do me a favor as I never asked them to adjust it as I didn't know I would cancel a treatment in 2022. They never told me they were adjusting it and I didn't know because no where on the bill did they indicate what the per treatment cost was. When I recieve a bill that says 7 treatments for $300 cost ($279 prepay), that is what I expect to recieve. Weed man can't come back now after the fact and tell me it was only for 6 treatments, as I may have made a decision to not hire them for 2022 given that per treatment cost is much higher than what I thought was the treatment cost based on the billing statement. I want a refund ($39.85) for the treatment not provided for which I paid as the billing statement clearly indicates 7 treatments, for $300 ($279 prepay).Initial Complaint

Weed Man Lawncare was hired by my neighbor to kill their grass and reseed. My neighbor told Weed man that he would flag his yard for the property line. Weedman decided not to wait for my neighbor to flag the property line and sprayed and killed a large portion of my yard. The dates Weedman came to my neighbor's house were August 19 and August 30, 2021. Myself and my neighbor realized my yard had been sprayed on September 3rd. I called Weed man and spoke to the receptionist explaining the situation. The technician called me back around 5 pm. He argued concerning the property line. I left a voicemail for the owner. I have left approx five subsequent messages. I have not received a response. In one VM I indicated that they were not to come back on my property. It appears they returned this week, tilled and seeded my yard. I filed a complaint with the Department of Ag. regarding the pesticide. I have left two messages with Weedman's US customer service line. There has been no response.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2021/10/15) */ *******, We have spoken on this matter several times. We performed what is called a "kill" on your neighbor's lawn. They are a new customer of ours and their lawn was in a condition wherein it would benefit greatly from starting over from scratch. In performing this "kill" we did treat a large patch of weeds that bled into your lawn. Those weeds died and this is when our communication began. You called and explained that we treated into your lawn and that you were upset about this. Our production manager listened to your concerns and apologized. It's certainly not our intent to harm anyone's property. With this new information that you provided, he explained that we would definitely take care of your lawn. Not only would we address the weeded area that died off, but that we would make your lawn look better and be healthier than before our error. He furthermore explained that we would not be able to address it immediately due to the condition of the turf. We would be scheduling a time to aerate and seed your and your neighbor's lawn as conditions of the turf improved. He explained that prior to putting down new seed, we need to make certain that the soil is ready and that the weeds that we don't want - do not come back. Our production manager explained that we would be applying new seed to your lawn and that we would certainly repair the mistake that we made. When you called and spoke with our production manager about this problem, he listened, and did his best to understand why you were still upset and then address those concerns. He explained that when the turf was ready, we would: 1) Inform you 1 week in advance that when we would be there. 2) Inform you again the day before the service. 3) Aerate the area of concern and however much more you wanted. 4) Seed the damaged area with our seed blend that contains 0% weed seed and 0% other crop seed, making it very clean seed. We also agreed to seed however much more of your lawn you wanted. You continued to call and complain about this very same issue each time. The area of concern was hand raked and seeded. We consider this matter resolved. If you feel there is further action needed for this area, please do not hesitate to contact us.
