We are writing to express our profound dissatisfaction with the service received from Nest Home Builders namely ******** Services regarding a significant issue in our newly purchased home. We closed on the property in April, and by mid-July, we began to notice a severe odor emanating from our upstairs bathroom. This unpleasant smell quickly spread throughout the entire home. Shortly thereafter, we observed water damage to the drywall in our kitchen, indicating an internal leak. We promptly reached out to the Nest ******** team. A technician was dispatched within a week; however, they were unable to repair the damage or address the leak. Instead, they created and left a substantial hole in our kitchen while attempting to repair the leak. Over the next two weeks, we received no follow-up or resolution despite multiple emails. The Nest ******** manager responded twice, indicating that a plumber would contact us, but we never received communication from the plumber. When we attempted to reach the plumber directly, we were informed that they had not been contacted by ****. After three weeks of no progress, a worsening odor, and a significant hole in our kitchen wall, we requested permission from Nest to engage a plumber directly and seek reimbursement. **** agreed to cover these charges, but we have not received any further communication or reimbursement.We have sent over ten emails to upper management, provided the invoice, and outlined the necessary next steps. Despite these efforts, we have received no resolution or further response. We are now in the fourth week, still dealing with an unresolved piping issue, a significant hole in our kitchen, and an outstanding invoice. The lack of communication, unprofessional service, and failure to resolve the issue reflect poorly on Nests business practices and customer service standards. We expect immediate action to rectify this situation and restore our confidence in your service.

Nest homes has not fulfilled obligations to our community. They develop communities then abandon them. They lie about ratio of Nest homes to other companies of the development. They do not return calls. Warranty work takes for ever. They develop a community of 200 homes then sell off the land to cheaper or other companies . You do not do this if you are not in financial trouble or need the cash. They collect *************** and the community is NOT maintained. They continue to fool buyers and bamboozle local governments into continuing this fraud. Do not invest in a Nest product. Numerous developments have been abandoned and sold to other companies.

We regret with every part of our being getting into a property and house build agreement with Nest Homes of the Carolinas within the *********** community in ****** **. The build process took over 26 months and required us to personally hire structural engineers, a home inspector to assess the house 7 times to document ongoing quality issues, our own personal grader and tree removal service, and eventually a senior hydro engineer to install commercial grade drainage systems that would save our house from repeated flood events. This added up to an additional $150,000 extra out of our pocket to ensure the structural integrity of our house built low on the flood lot sold to us via their exclusive sellers agent eXp Realty.We are not the only ones that have been victims of Nest Homes.I created a ******* video as a central repository of videos, and soon to be documents and pictures relating to the most financially and emotionally draining pain we are still remediating to this day.The revolving door of project managers took care of themselves, building their own homes quickly, and that of their associates, while other like us suffered for 2+ years of delays, zero accountability, financial heartache, unpaid sub contractors liens on the house, and much much more. ***********************************

We signed a contract in February 2021 and our home is still not completed. This was 2 years and 10 months ago. They are in breach of contract! We just received a lien on our property since they did not pay the lumbar company. There has been terrible communication, excuses, lies, 5 different project managers. Incompetence all around. They do not care and there is zero integrity.

Terrible, do not use this company! We were so excited to build with Nest, we were told 9 months. We knew there would be some delays when dealing with new construction, but it is now 15 months later and we do not even have drywall! Multiple project managers, months going by with little or NO work completed, failed inspections, poor workmanship! We have tried to be patient, but now feel we are being taken advantage of. We gave a $70,000 deposit! Nest has completed other homes that are not under contract prior to our home. We have tried to reach out but communication is poor, no one seems to care, the attitude is so bad . We read reviews before signing and they were reasonable. Now all the reviews seem to say the same things we are dealing with. PLEASE BEWARE! They are dishonest and quality is questionable, probably due to no sub contractors wanting to work for them!

Nest homes purchased a lot next to my home that is only 45 ft wide and per the City unbuildable. I reached out to Nest offering to purchase the lot and they refused and insisted they were going to build on it. Since then I have tried to reach out other property owners near Nest lots to warn them. To date Nest has unofficially surveyed the lot, but has submitted no plans to the city. They refuse to work with local people in established neighborhoods to find compromises. There are ethical issues with this company that everyone should be aware of.

We put down our 60k deposit back in March 2021, here we are in august 2022 & our house is still not finished. We are on our 4th project manager. We go to check on the progress daily & always leave upset. The poor construction, lack of workmanship, & cheap materials is devastating. I wish we would have never chose Nest. They give zero fs about your house, your complaints, or the communities they build in.

We contracted a house to be built by nest in April of 2021 with a finish date of on or before January 2021. we had asked many times status and to talk with someone and got the run around. We had 2 project managers and are now on the 3rd before we started to get any answers..... We are now being told Hopefully September 2022. after numerous emails to talk with someone of a management position and no one wanting to talk we have been just waiting.... After having put down a $60k check (required to contract) waiting what will be 17 months (hopefully) and getting treated like we have I would suggest that you consider all options prior to selection. Our only hope now is that the quality is good because the ability to have customer service is not expected after the sale since there has been none during.
