Time to move banks. No branch in ************* & requires me to drive 1 hour to deposit a check because they set a random amount for remote deposits. They certainly dont appreciate my business.

I am a highly successful entrepreneneur. I have banked off and on with them for over 55 years. I had a hugely unsuccessful experience with them. They are a stodgy, judgemental, paranoid bunch of arrogant narcissist. I strongly suggest First Bank in ********* as an alternative.

I have been dealing with fraud on my account for the last thirty days with over 1000 dollar in fraud chages this was the second one in the last 30 days. I called to have my money put back into my account... i was laughed at by employees and the situatioin is not atken seriously. After 3 days my money was not returned back to my account .i called no one even filed to have the fraud looked at. I call in friday morning to have my money put back and close my account and they cant do it because they need to file it now instead of three days ago. DO NOT USE THIS BANK!!!Customer service is bad Security is terrrible Everything about this place has gone down hill in the last 2 years. Been baking witht hem for over 10 years.

I started working with First Citizens Bank a few years back after speaking to a business banker from the *************** branch. The main point he made was that it was all about personal service and a single point of contact. After being with them for a few years, the banker that I originally started working with left the bank and since then, the position has been a revolving door of bankers. The last banker I worked with also made promises to me regarding a few products I had with them and none of his promises were backed by the bank. They made him look horrible. This bank claims to care about it's clients but, as every bank, all it cares about is money. The service is horrible. One hand has no idea what the other is doing. For the service that I was receiving here, I'd rather just go to a big bank and receive the same treatment. At least I know what I'm getting. They don't pretend to be anything else. Go elsewhere.

0 stars-the two banks in *********** uses **************** for cleaning and uses the subcontractor named ** ***** *******. She lies about the scope of the job, does not provide any cleaning supplies except one day before ST. ****** comes to audit the bank. She does not pay you what you are promised and the job takes 3 hours to do three times a week per bank and you are paid $27 dollars per visit. She does not even have a Business name and commits money laundering with the knowledge of First Citizen and ************************** in *******. She also does not pay you what she promises you. She should not be allowed to take advantage of people and pay them less than minimum wage. She tries to skirt that issue by not keeping an official log of the hours worked. She is named ** ***** ******* and is from Brevard N

I have had a First Citizens Bank account for about 8 years now. I have never had any problems with my account and have a small direct deposit that goes in several times a month. My daddy filed for *** a year and a half ago. He doesn't not have bank account. Yesterday he was finally approved for SSD and his money was deposited in my account. The bank immediately locked my account. I have no problem with that because of the amount and his name wasn't on the account. My problem is with ****** *****. She's an "investigator". Right off the bat she was extremely rude. Mispronounced my hispanic last name and almost saying with with disgust. Accusing me of being a fraud and stealing money from the government. Asking about someone who I previously had an account with and telling me he was too old to of been a boyfriend of mine. This woman had the nastiest attitude I have ever encountered in a job setting. Yelling at me telling me I couldve cost the bank a lot of money. Telling me it is the banks buisness to why my daddy doesn't have a bank account. And as far as ****** ***** goes I am an American Citizen and don't appreciate you accusing me of fraud and telling me you "don't by my story" and threatening to close my account. ******************************************* please do better you have been a great bank thus far but these employee is horrible and doesn't deserve to interact with your customers.

ZERO stars if I could. I would never recommend this bank to anyone! Not only does it have the worst online payment system but it also has the WORST customer service! I have had nothing but issues with this bank with online scheduled payments and fees that incur due to their inability and inefficient online bill pay system. I have my monthly payment scheduled each month and rececive a payment confirmation with a confirmation NUMBER and one month later I get a call from the finance collections department telling me that I missed my payment! Then they tell me that I have to contact my bank to provide them with their company ID number!! What!!?? This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with in my 59 years of business! Run don't walk if thinking about entering any type of business with this bank! ***** *.

I've been leasing some Apple equipment with them and CIT and it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach customer service. I was just now on the phone for 40 minutes waiting to be connected to someone. This is not the first time this has happened to me. Earlier this year when I was trying to update my bank account information I had to jump through so many hoops and was finally done after a couple of months. You can't manage your account online. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. My lease is up on the equipment next year and I am glad to move on.

We have a business account that experienced fraud in February 2024. I have been trying to resolve the matter since early March. I ultimately had to escalate to the Board of Directors and CEO to get them to fully investigate and respond. They sent a letter stating we did not respond in a timely matter but it took them until October to finish their investigation. This is ridiculous. Please don't bank with this entity. I have sent 4 emails, 2 letters, 10 phone calls, and made 3 bank branch visits to resolve this matter but they state that I didn't respond promptly. I will be escalating further. Someone needs to investigate this bank as most of the complaints are related to the lack of due diligence by their fraud department. I would give zero stars if allowed.

FIRST CITIZENS SUPPORT RACIST EMPLOYEE - I was requested by the Danville Piedmont Drive branch manager to come inside to sign a document. I was told that they would be on the look out for me at 2 p.m. At 2:10 when I arrived the employee whose desk is at the right of the entryway (Dual *******) denied me entry and directed me to the drive-thru. After going to the drive-thru the manager introduce me to him in the lobby and his first words to me were - I am at my desk trying to do my work - he is not the only big bald headed black man. When I requested his business card he proceeded to tell me; when you call you make sure you tell them. I stopped him before he finished his statement and told him. I did not need his help in my conversation with his supervisor. This incident was reported by myself and the branch manager. It took ************** manger over a week to finally contact me. Mr. ******* is still proudly wearing the *** lapel pin on his jacket. It is evident they support this behavior from their employees.
