    6/2/25 put a collection on my credit report that is not mine reduced my credit score 9 points. I sent in disputes to 3 major credit reporting agencies. I believe this company is frauding me .

    On 5/21/25, I attempted to submit paperwork necessary to dispute a charge of $556 on my account, as is my right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Due to my disability, I requested the following reasonable accommodation: , "to submit the documentation electronically via a secure portal," This request was denied by three employees, who stated that they do not use email to correspond, even if it is requested as an accommodation.This refusal constitutes a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ****** Title III of the *** prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in places of public accommodation, which includes financial institutions. Covered entities are required to make reasonable modifications to policies, practices, or procedures when necessary to afford goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, or accommodations to individuals with disabilities, unless doing so would fundamentally alter the nature of the goods or services or result in an undue burden.[1] The requested accommodation was reasonable and necessary to ensure my equal access to your dispute resolution process.Furthermore, this refusal has directly impeded my ability to exercise my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The **** grants consumers the right to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information on their credit reports, and furnishers of information, such as credit clearing house, have duties to investigate such disputes.[2] By denying a reasonable accommodation for the submission of required dispute documentation, online information services has effectively prevented me from initiating or completing a legally mandated dispute process, thereby violating my rights under the ****. The ************************************ (****) enforces federal consumer financial laws, including aspects of the ****, and emphasizes fair treatment of consumers.

    I received a letter in the email today May 19, 2025 saying that online information services is a debt collector and they are trying to collecta debt that I owe to ************************* (***). This was the electric company I had when I lived in my previous apartment in ******** I ended my service with them when I moved out in June 2024. I went back and took a look at my account and it said that all bills were paid in full as of August 2024. I also called APC and they told me that I dont owe them anything and that this might be a scam. My APC account number that they have listed on this letter is also incorrect.

    I honestly dont get why ONLINE INFORMATION SER is reporting this debt under my name because I dont owe them anything. I never signed anything with them, and when I asked for a copy of the original application, they didnt even bother to provide it.     I am submitting this formal and urgent complaint against Online Information Services Inc for their repeated and willful violations of federal consumer protection laws.Despite having received my written dispute in which I clearly stated that I do not recognize, acknowledge, or accept responsibility for the alleged debts in questionand explicitly rejected the amounts claimedthis agency has continued to engage in unlawful and aggressive collection activities. They have failed to provide the legally mandated validation of the debts as required under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 U.S.C. 1692g. This is a clear and unacceptable breach of their legal ************** be absolutely clear: I am fully aware of my financial responsibilities and have no obligation to accept or respond to unverified and disputed debt claims. The law requires the collector to cease all collection efforts until proper validation is provided. Any continued activity in the absence of validation constitutes a direct violation of federal law.If this agency has furnished any information related to these disputed debts to consumer reporting agencies, they may also be in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2, which prohibits the reporting of inaccurate or disputed information without first conducting a reasonable and complete **************** addition, I provided specific and lawful instructions for how I may be contacted[insert communication preference, e.g., "email only, between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM Eastern Time"]. Contact outside of these parameters constitutes a violation of FDCPA 1692c(a)(1) and qualifies as harassment under federal law.The actions of Online Information Services Inc are not only reckless and unethical, but they also demonstrate a blatant disregard for my rights under federal law. Consumers deserve to be treated fairly, and these practices cause harm, stress, and damage to financial well-being.
