Maxlend is the company. I borrowed $300.These are the dates and amounts which was what I was instructed to do by girl on the phone initially.5/8/22 paid $86.05 6/15/22 paid $178.78 7/18/22 paid $178.80 Then she said Jan 2023 I make a payment of $178.78. But Aug 2022 they continues to take out $178 78 autopay. I called right away to see why. I had to stop payment by my bank. This is misrepresentation and I never agreed to that. I told that to Maxlend when I called, . Lately they are threatening a lawsuit to me. They should be reprimanded for misleading elders.Business response

MaxLend is a brand of Uetsa Tsakits, Inc., a tribal corporation organized under tribal law and is an instrumentality of, and wholly owned and controlled by the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation (MHA), a federally recognized sovereign ******** Indian Tribe. This loan was made by us as provided in MHAs Tribal Credit Transaction Code. MaxLend contracts, including the loan agreement you signed, clearly designate MHA law as governing its transactions and provides all disclosures required by MHA and **** federal law.
MaxLend values its customers and is disappointed that **************** was dissatisfied with our services. Therefore, we have contacted her directly in reference to her complaint.

This business is operating as a loan company with an APR of 610%. Twice now they have fooled me into thinking my payment was 150 and 190 dollars and then the payments the next month are 458 dollars a month. You have to look through three different emails to get to the contracts and find the payment schedule. They do not tell you the payment goes up the next month. There was just a settlement with a company just like this and the people won because they prey on desperate individuals who don't read the fine print first.Business response

Maxlend has made an unauthorized transaction on my bank account. They have taken money from me that was not authorized for them to do so. I have spoken to about 10 people over the course of a few days and nothing has been resolved. This company keeps giving me the run around; they keep telling me that they will escalate the situation and call me back but has not been the case.Initial Complaint

I need a loan and max lend came up on my search I called them. They talked in circles I should of hung up but needed the help. I borrowed ****** for 2 weeks cost me ****** on interest they were not honest and open about the loan. Date of payday loan 10/15/2021 for $1,150.00 My payments were ***** every week from my checking account. I made payment on time from 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/9 of 2021. They went to my checking account and force out ***** on 11/19 2021. I had a light stroke at work and apply for disability I told them I won't have any money until January ************************* 1/12/2022 I'm not working now. My terms on a loan were changed. I did not agree on the ****** payments. I agreed upon ***** payments. My last payment would be high on July.
