      I am writing to formally complain about my experience with Encore Auctions through *********. I participated in an auction on June 30, 2024, and successfully won an item (Order Number: ******). However, despite being charged for shipping on July 5, 2024, I have yet to receive the item. Today is August 21, 2024, and not only has my item not been delivered, but I also have not received any responses to the three emails I have sent inquiring about the status of my package. It is concerning that there has been no communication from your side, and no refund has been issued for the undelivered item. I am disappointed to find that HiBid.com does not appear to have any mediation or complaint procedures in place, leaving consumers without recourse in situations like this. This lack of accountability raises serious concerns about the trustworthiness and ethics of both HiBid and its vendors.

      Please reach back out to the business that sold you the item with the case number you referenced in your reply.  It sounds like there were some issues on their end finalizing your shipment, and you've been in contact with them regarding this.  HiBid does not have these items, so this is outside of anything that we can control.  You will need to contact them for another update & resolution.

      I am rejecting the response because there has been no meaningful progress on my case, despite the fact that Encore Auctions has been aware of the situation for weeks. Multiple attempts have been made to resolve this matter, yet they continue to ignore the basic principles of fair trade. I paid for the item in full, but it has not been shipped, and my emails have gone unanswered.


      Even if they realized the item was marked for pickup, there is no reason why they have not either shipped the item or issued a refund by now, which is what I now request and believe I am rightfully owed.


      The RCMP has been informed of this situation and has identified Encore Auctions as a potentially fraudulent organization. I feel it is my duty to warn others not to conduct business with Encore Auctions or HiBid. Vendors on their platform are able to take money without fulfilling their obligations and face no repercussions, leaving customers like myself without recourse. It has been 68 days, and I am still without the product or a refund, despite Encore being fully aware of the situation.

      The bid on all the new e bikes from ************** is $300 starting reserve price. Same guy bids $300 on all of them. There will be times that I bid 310 and it says I am winning. These bikes are worth thousands so even though im winning I will raise my bid to a much higher amount, in this example let's say I bid 1000. It will keep me as winning bidder for several hours, maybe even whole day at $310. But it never fails sooner or later my highest HIDDEN bid will get beat by $10. Then I will go in and look at all the bids and the person that beat me will only show he bid 1 time. I've done this many times and the result is the same, he only has to bid one time. And what really proves something fishy is going on is the one bid he puts in to beat me by $10 is dated before my bids. This cannot be possible or it would have not shown that I was winning. Look at the photo I sent you of the bidders. And it shows he only bid one time and he bid before my bid. I have about 30 instances of this happening over and over.

      8/16/24 i placed a bid online for a roof cargo carrier. I won the bid for 11$ and drove 30 miles from Lubbock to levelland tx to pick up my purchase. When i arrived to pick up my item they said someone else won that bid for 75$ but if i was willing to pay 75$ instead of the 11$ dollars that i could take it. I advised them that i felt wronged in that transaction and that i had driven from Lubbock specifically for this item to which the responded i could take it for 75$ or leave it. I left the item since i felt they were trying to cheat me but feel this should be made right. Its a 300$ item that was brand new still in box that i rightfully won at auction for 11$

      I participated in an online auction with **** ****** ******* on June 21, 2024. I live in Missouri and **** ****** ******* is located at *** *** ********* **** in Vincennes, IN, 47591. This auction was presented on HIBID Auctions which hosts auctions from around the country and beyond for what should be reputable auction agencies. I have never had a problem with HIBID until doing business with **** ********. I won two bids during this auction; one item was a *********** ***** ornament, and the other item was a 12” Nightmare Before Christmas J*** *********** ******. I received the items mailed directly from **** ****** *******. This item was packaged very well. I buy and resale items that I purchase from auctions, so I am very knowledgeable in how packing affects how the item will ship and not break. This item was packed so well, it would not have broken. I have attached a copy of the package which shows no box damage what so ever, The packing around the items was perfect. It would not have broken unless it was broken before it was packaged. I have phoned **** ******* several times. They never answer, so I leave a message describing my complaint to get a refund. They simply will not return my phone calls or emails. The broken item was $20.00. Postage, buyers premium and taxes would be added to that amount. I sent emails to them requesting assistance. I get no response to my emails. I have never received any communication from them to acknowledge my complaint. The last message I sent was on July 20. I gave them until July 31st to respond to me (see attached} They do not intend to resolve my complaint. This type of total disregard of customer service is disgraceful. I, along with thousands of other consumers, faithfully depend on them to be honest. Sadly, they are not, and they could care less. Other consumers need to beware.

      I purchased 2 lots. I have not received them. I was sent a stamps.com tracking number. The usps states they never did receive the package from the shipper. I reached out numerous times to the person in charge of this auction with no response. Today, they emailed a response stating they are on vacation until 8/5/24, and is it okay if the refund my purchase amount after they return. This is not okay. My money was taken the day I won the auction 7/9/24. USPS says it hasn’t been shipped. I want a refund immediately. Additionally, I called the toll free number for HiBid, ###-###-####. After holding for customer service, it went o a voicemail box to leave a message or I could choose the emergency. Emergency are charged at $2.00 a minute. This is unacceptable. HiBid is avoiding calls, and charging 2 dollars per minute to tal to someone immediately. That needs to change.

      HiBid is facilitating auctioneers that are not willing to ship their products out of inconvenience to themselves. They also refuse to do anything about the situation when brought to their attention. 2 times their auctioneers have told me they refuse to ship after I win. And the items I bid on are clearly marked for shipping

      Thank you for reaching out regarding you issue with getting an item shipped to you.  Unfortunately all auctions, and all circumstances surrounding those auctions, can vary depending on the seller, consignor, item types, item size, etc.  Due to these reasons, there are some sellers that require pick up instead of having shipping available for all items.  Each auctioneer can set these terms for their sale, and can be viewed in the "shipping/pick up" status tab on each sale.   If you have any questions we'd recommend reaching out to those specific sellers and asking if they offer other options prior to bidding.

      I entered into a contract agreement with HiBID 555 Auctions. I bid on an item and the platform stated I had WON the bid and that the price had been realized! To me this says 555 Auction accepted my bid and agreed the price was fair. I have reached out to 555 on several occasions without reply. Today I thought an investigation needed to take place, so I went back onto the online auction website and searched for the 555 auction that followed the auction I had bid on. Lo and behold I found “MY WON” items and been relisted and sold at a higher price! This company did not inform me they were unhappy with my win nor did they inform me the item was going to be delisted, giving me a chance to bid! These business practices should not be tolerated by the hosting platform HIbid, nor should HiBid be allowed to skirt complaints under the “we are only the platform” HiBID needs to monitor these transactions and complaints and take the appropriate action to shut them down! Considering the posted I had WON the item and the price was realized to their satisfaction, and they elected to resell MY item, I believe they owe me the difference! People be aware. I will be furthering my complaints on all social media platforms!

      I bid on this auction and won the items you see. After this 'settlement' receipt, I have heard nothing from this auctioneer. There have been no emails or phone calls. I have tried and tried to contact them. I even got a hold of a "Customer Service Rep" at hibid, ***** ****. from: ***** ******* to: ***** **** date: May 7, 2024, 3:32 PM subject: Re: Info for auctions, items not recieved . No further communication mailed-by: gmail.com Please try to resolve this. I actually found this Pickering Ontario, auction under a search of Hibid. Regards ***** *******

      I am rejecting this response because:I was fraudulently overcharged on my credit card. I paid $118.00,  my bid total was $40. I understand that there are mailing costs, but the amount is obviously extreme, especially suspicious as I was not notified of the charges. I recieved a box with all of the missing auction items about 3 weeks ago, but with no paperwork sent from Niagra CA. I will not pay an extra $78 for mailing costs without a receipt. So NO I will not accept this. I am happy that I have recovered the items.

As an active participant in the auctions held by this site, I have observed repeated instances where the bid history does not seem to reflect an honest and fair bidding environment.Specifically, I have noticed patterns that suggest the possibility of shill bidding or other manipulative tactics that artificially inflate the prices of auction lots. Such practices undermine the integrity of the auction process and harm consumers who participate in good faith.Enclosed are screenshots and detailed observations from several auction events (STATE JEWELRY AUCTION ENDS SUNDAY 04/07/2024 | LIVE AND ONLINE AUCTIONS ON HIBID.COM) that highlight my concerns.
