    My grandfather purchased the cremation plan from a representative in ******** where he lived. He passed away in July down here in ********* while visiting me. I contacted the company to see if they would honor his plan, and they did.We were instructed to have the funeral home in ********* contact them and they would handle the rest. The funeral home picked up my grandfathers body from the house within 3 hours to have him cremated. My family is sincerely grateful.

    I cant speak for the few people that gives an unfavorable review when they dont agree with a company policy or process. The hard truth is that no company can please every customer.I would like to be the ****************** person to say that I personally work tirelessly running the claims department for this company. I have spent the last 10 years managing this department. I have signed off on a total of ****** approved claims, that rarely are ever spoken of by members or their family members.Most unfavorable reviews come from members that have not submitted their documents correctly. They have submitted them months after their initial contact with the company, and now expect the process to be rushed. The member hasnt made timely payments. The member didnt live the required time designated on their contract. Their total cost hasnt been fulfilled. This is the part that customers leave out when writing a complaint.I personally dont gain anything by writing a review on behalf or my department. However, its very important that our members know that we come here and do our best everyday on their behalf. Our client base is well above one million individuals, so most would say dont worry about the few that complain , but I am unable to do that. Every past, current and future client must know that we work our butts off for yall and will continue to do so.Our leadership stands beside us to move the company forward. I am proud to be part of an amazing organization.

    My brother passed away on March 3, 2024. It's been several months and I cannot get through to the company. The claim is yet to be verified and acknowledged, and seems to not ever going to pay out. I've gotten the run around and whenever I call, the same person answers the phone and recognizes my number and is very short with me. Now the phone number is disconnected. Are they in financial trouble? Inquiring minds want to know. Not a good experience at all. Thumbs down.

    My brother had their funeral protector plan prior to passing away. I will admit that my family could not come to an agreement as to how we would handle his final wishes. ******* literally met with the funeral home in the pouring rain to get my brothers process started. We decided to cremate him instead. The company allowed us to use his plan to cover the cremation. I have nothing but respect for this company and their leadership. Thank you.

    My friend told me to purchase the $17.00 membership because an attorney was going to charge me $1,500.00 to do my last will and testament. This company had their attorneys do my will free of charge as a member benefit. It is definitely well worth joining for $17.00. Not to mention, I received $25.00 for referring my supervisor.

    This company has a funeral funding company that offers loans to its members to be buried if they don't live the two years that are allotted before passing away. We were able to borrow $2,700 to cover my aunt's funeral because she was only a member of first advance benefits of America for one month. I just think all companies that work in the death industry should offer options like this as well. My family is very grateful for them.

    Terrible customer service. I called to speak to a representative about payment being returned to sender due to unknown address which is a P.O. Box, I became suspicious and decided to call and the number directed me to a vm, which then someone returned my call from a personal phone number, ******* never addressed himself as a rep for the company was extremely rude and unprofessional , quite frankly I would not recommend their services.
