  THE WORST EVER called them a few times and they dont care. I even supposedly talk to the district manager and he didnt even give a rats a** Customer ********************** is the least thing they are concerned with do not go here. Do not do not do not take your money to anywhere else H&R Block, even but not this place never this place.

  Id rather not even leave 1 star! This was the first year we used JW. And will NOT BE GOING BACK. We were sent the wrong address. We cannot get any information on where any of your main offices are at. Ive called every phone number there is and even ************** dont know where a home office. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!!

  1.The website said to make an appointment and get 50% off tax prep.They wanted me to pay full price 2. The representative was on the phone with traffic court While he prepared my taxes.3. He miscalculated my taxes ..(saying I owe more than $20g).. giving me a near heart attack. And it keeps going up!4. He showed up at my job the next day. Name dropping my name saying he does my taxes. 5. He used his personal call phone to call my cell phone after hours to ask me for a personal favor! He pulled my personal information from his personal vehicle.6. No one from Jackson Hewitt will contact me. *************************** is the customer ********************** rep who waited OVER 7 days to call me back about why this man has my social security number, DOB, my contact info etc in HIS CAR!This is egregious! Now I keep receiving tax bills to pay. Is this a joke or what?

  Had a code for half off on prep fees. We were told it was no good when we presented it to the preparer. Office was poorly set up, noisy, cramped workspace. Preparer conducted personal family business while clients were at her desk. Preparer was not well informed on tax law regarding self employment. Tax prep fees were far in excess of anything reasonable. Finally, the preparer did not have a folder in which to place the client's copy of the return, and did not even staple the papers together. Overall, a horrible experience. I will never go back. I gave them one star only because I didn't see anything lower.

  He was nice, my mom wanted to go there do our taxes together it was too much expensive but my only problem was they messed up on my taxes and fixed it charged me a fee for fixing their mistake but reimbursed me the fee. The first time they forgot missing credit I would have been in a lost. But its mailed me saying I qualify for credits gave them the paper they fixed it. Now Im still waiting for my taxes. A simple mistake that could have cost me and they didnt give me the guaranteed your money back plus $100. She only offered me a 50% discount next year. But I wont be coming back. Now Im not happy but it was a simple mistake of very serious when it come to taxes. But everyone makes mistake

  He lost 2021 W-2's of my fiance' and I. He finally gave me a copy of my W-2s but where are the originals? Also I worked for this man September 23rd-january 23rd and got total of 320 ..$ for 4 months. Well I found a paper that I should have been paid a minimum of 54 hours to 60 hours for training. I didn't even get minimum wage. The man is a joke, he loses EVERYTHING, then his little puppet **************** does everything for him. He told me I'd be making mega bucks, more than a friend who is making 12. He once said $16 an hour but my pay was far from that. I will never recommend Jackson Hewitt because I know what he does behind the scenes.. I have to get an attorney now, just to get paid. Please listen to my advice, STAY AWAY FROM EMPLOYERS WHO DO NOT PAY EMPLOYEES! BBB, why don't you post complaints? The public n ppl should get the HONEST reviews, good or bad.

  screwed up my simple single w2 . *** had to verify my identity and resubmit all my info to the irs over the last 2 months still waiting for an accepted ****. this was my second attempt to save money but it was not worth the hasle and extra time this is also the second time ive had these issues ...i will never return . ill spend half my taxes on a proper preparation and submission before i consider coming back. and once it leaves the desk of that particular ******* and is submitted its out of there hands and into the irs who loves to chase you over a dollar but is impossible to collect from . jackson hewitt is supposed to be that safety zone that protects us from the irs c*** chute games. but its quite the opposite . there should be fines for s******* up restitution paid for my troubles time and stress like the fines for messing up payroll this is worse .harder to correct and fix ..DO NOT USE JACKSON HEWITT

  One of the worst displays of tax preparation that was ever done in my lifetime it took all of about20 minutes of work I was not given an estimate of what I would be charged when I asked Im a single person in the food and beverage industry and when I was done I was asked to pay the outrageous amount of 507 dollars and I would of avoided a review like this if a manager had called me back to adhere to my complaint I feel like I was robbed without a gun

  Doesn't stand behind you! Was told my taxes were done wrong but was NEVER sent the revised one. They said they would send me the difference and pay the *** for me but never did. Never got the revised invoice either. Won't answer my calls either!!!! WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THEM AGAIN!!!! RIP OFF LIARS

  Suckered in by radio ads and spam marketing, I decided to make an appointment with Jackson Hewitt. 50% off to file a tax return sounded like a good idea to me, so I made an appointment with someone listed on the website. Shortly into my appointment I texted my spouse "NOT TERRIBLY CONFIDENT IN MY TAX PREPARER". She did not know how to read my W2s or answer my questions, requiring much assistance from the manager. I was taking standard deductions, nothing very unusual. 60 minutes later, they tell me my refund and want $300. When I told them that I had the 50% code from the ** website, they told me that the deal had expired. I referred to the website, there was still a week left. So they told me that they already used a promo code. I asked what promo code. They said that they gave me a big discount already to match my last tax preparers price. I told them that is nothing in Jackson Hewitt ads that promo "matching" your last fees (Besides I had more complicated taxes done last year, so this would be an apple to oranges type fee *************** would definitely have stayed with my usual guy as I have used him for a long time and trust him. I told them that I would pay, and be done with them, but would report them to... and then the manager/owner, told me "WE ARE DONE, YOU CAN LEAVE NOW" and told me that I was rude! I guess it is rude to tell someone that they are not honoring what is being advertised. Long story short, my taxes aren't done and they wasted over an hour of my time. DON'T BE A SUCKER; LOOK ELSEWHERE; THERE ARE FAR MORE HONEST, COMPETENT & TRANSPARENT COMPANIES IN THE BUSINESS.
