In late April of this year, MC&F came through & viewed what work needed to be done. Granted it was definitely a big job, but if he was ill-equipped to handle it he should have turned it down. Instead, he gave me a $24K budget, required half as a deposit & said the rest would be due upon completion.I gave him $12K & work started the first week of May. He had a 2 man crew come in & start the work with him "supervising." After the first month he no longer showed up & after the second month, his son was left to complete job alone. In June, he hit me up for $2K & another $5K in July (so much for "half at the start/half upon completion"). He was even telling me that he was using money from one job to cover the expenses of other jobs & after getting that $19K from me he stopped returning my calls, **************** From that point on, I personally took his son to purchase the remaining materials & supplies & I even had to pay him for his final week of work because apparently his father was done with me - even though the job was not done. MC&F claims to have licensed & certified people on their website but his son did all the electrical ********* told me himself that he's not a licensed electrician. And the "other workers" that assisted his son were just regular dudes helping out their *********&F padded the budget. He charged me $1125 for 3 ceiling fans, but I had already purchased them. He charged me $1400 for "new" baseboards throughout the house, but I confirmed visually that they were just removing, repainting & placing back the existing baseboards. He was also supposed to reglaze my bath tub but never got around to it even though the bathroom was one of the first areas where they began working. If you've accepted money and begun working you're bound by your contract to do the quality work you advertise. You don't ghost a paying customer while you're still on the job. I have no doubt that he took money I paid him for my house & covered expenses for other jobs.

I never received my order, or my money refunded to me for services that were agreed on. Communcation started off well during the designing phase, phone calls were returned, emails responded to. I paid up front for 2 sorority inspired trunks which are advertised on his page (I would never have reached out if I did not see them). I paid $288.90 in full and in total. I have pictures of precious work that was posted if they suddenly disappear. I was more than patient, always took an understanding stance regarding his excuses even though I was the customer. He constantly has a reason why the work was not finished yet. Examples of reasons are fire at the warehouse, daughter who was going to do the graphics on my trunk was very sick, etc. Never once did I become that mean customer nobody wants to deal with. After quite a lot of time that passed by, we finally set a time to meet halfway (me being in ** and his business being in **, we set a ************* to meet in ************, ** (note: I did pay for shipping with my order). The night before we were to meet, he called and stated he was in a car accident and the rental place did not give him a big enough car for my order to fit in (why wouldn't he ask for a big enough car). I said OK and he said he would make up for it and send my items at his expense. I've periodically asked about my order, and he stopped responding. Le's just say I've been waiting for my order since 2018. Not a good experience at all. Finally, I asked for my money back he stopped responding. Recently he may have seen my post on his business FB page, he messaged me and said let's talk. He has not communicated with me since and it appears I have been blocked from his page, because I cannot find it anymore. If he could not produce what I paid for whatever reason, I should have received a refund, no problems. I have pictures, emails and my receipt for payment.
