Purchase a midea freezer from appliance liquidators in **********************Had freezer for 9 months compressor went out lost about 500 dollars worth of food.called midea for warranty claim,gave me a case number told me to wait for approval it would take one to two business days.Called after 3 days said it was approved and then disapprove I asked why they said that they couldn't honor the warranty because I bought it from a discount appliance store I would not buy a midea product, customer service is no good I'm out 700 dollars I have a boat anchor company products are no good Chinese made like everythingMidea America Corp Response

I wish I read the reviews here before purchasing two Midea portable air conditioners. I purchased them May 25, 2023 and they stopped working two days ago, June 19, 2024. I live in ************, so these units were only used for four months at the most and they're already broken. Based on the reviews of various products here, it seems the company's quality isn't great in general. I contacted customer support but was told the units are out of warranty. They offered to help me find a technician in my area. I won't be taking them up on that offer nor will I ever purchase or recommend any type of Midea product again.Midea America Corp Response

Midea dehumidifier pump went out after 8 months, and **************** has been very unhelpful. They really do NOT have their customer in mind. They look for ever reason not to cover their warranties, which is a valuable ****** to me. So beware when you purchase their products, because they do not last and they do not back up their warrant claims.Midea America Corp Response

Treated us like criminals when we called about our wash machine not working ..wanted us to take pictures of the wash machine doing what the problem was ..clothes piling up because the wash machine isnt working .still didnt get a service person until 3 business days which became 7 days with uniforms not washed do there policies of accepting the case number and wouldnt give me a time when the service guy would come ..never ever buy from this companyMidea America Corp Response

Steer clear from the Midea French Door Refrigerator.Not a year old and already the bottom ice maker has stopped working.Also, no one mentions that the only water filter to get is their brand which costs $50.Big mistake to go with this new company when redoing our kitchen.From other reviews, I can probably expect service to be no so great either.Should have gone with a reliable standard brand.Midea America Corp Response

Midea has terrible customer support. The funny thing is they have 1.12 stars out of 5 and still show an A+ rating with the BBB. So, obviously neither are doing their job.Had a U-shaped AC from midea and one of the parts failed that is under warranty. Was on the phone with support for over an hour while they repeatedly said it wasnt under warranty and I had to continually refer to THEIR manual telling them that it is.The point is, if you are reading this right now it's probably too late. No one checks BBB until AFTER they made their purchase, like me.Midea America Corp Response

Window AC compressor warranty for 3 years.Talked to customer service and denied compressor warranty.Used for 3 ******* in 3 years.That is 9 months of AC usage and it breaks.DO NOT uphold the warranty contractMidea America Corp Response

This model does offer a 5 year warranty on the compressor only, and you'll need to provide a diagnostic report from a technician that shows the compressor is not working. Bought a dehumidifier from midea and under 3 yrs it doesnt work. It cost me $280 thinking it was a good product but it failed the test. Upon calling customer service they had no help for me and wanted to send me 2.5 hrs away for there closet tech to fix it and couldnt give me a break on continuing to try and buy a new one. This company should be ashamed of itself as I will no longer purchase any product from them in the future.Midea America Corp Response

Horrible customer service. We bought a freezer in February 2024. We raise and process our own meat, so we needed more space. On April 24th 2024, it was discovered that the latch on the freezer had broken causing the door to come open. It was too late and we lost $2500 (at least) of meat. Even though we have a warranty on the freezer, they are saying that we forcibly broke the freezer and therefore they will not even give us our money back. We DID not break the latch. We even have pictures of the freezer with the defrosted meat and meat juices running on the floor. So, not only are we out the $2500 meat that that we lost, we are also out the $700 that the freezer cost. This company is a disgrace. No one has helped us. Truly so sad that we are being done like this despite having a warranty on the freezer!!!! I wonder how many other people have experienced this.Midea America Corp Response
