      Had a 24 hour window to get my Covid Test prior to a surgery within 72 hours, I scheduled my test, and when I arrived I was told that I didn't "order a test. When I asked how to do that they directed me to the mobile app, which wouldn't' allow me to schedule a covid test, errors saying i didnt have an account..****.. while I was already logged in..., and there were no number or customer ********************** to get help. The help chat was a joke. I had to rush around that morning, (with no car) to get another test, so I didnt derail my surgery... The app is worthless, and allowed me to incorrectly (apparently) schedule a covid test... Im still confused. Luckily I found another option outside of quest.

      Technician was quick to tell me I have a balance, which I paid BUT failed to tell me they were keeping my debit card on file and proceeded to charge my card WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION for the balance due from that days blood draw!!!!! NEVER GO TO QUEST DIAGNOSTICS unless youre okay with unauthorized charges!!! This is a trend now with many businesses and I dont understand how this is legal!!!!!

      They left me with one of the worst bruises on my arm this week. Because they didnt listen to me and used a large thick needle instead of a butterfly needle. I would like to display the picture of my arm.

      It would be 0/5 but it wont let me select no stars. My doctor used quest on some tests I needed done. This was in December of 2021. June of 2022 I get a bill for the full amount $750, saying my insurance was not covering any of it. I spoke to someone at Quest who said that was incorrect and would resubmit it. A month later I received the same bill. I called Quest again, they said the charges were correct. I proceeded to call my insurance, who submitted my EOB and also told me I only owed $270. September comes around and now I get a collection notice. I call QUEST AGAIN. They promise theyll resolve it and take me off of collections. Nothing gets done. I make my payment for the amount I owe and leave a scathing message on their survey. I get a call from a Manager named ******. She said she will handle it and remove me from collections, even though this was supposed to have already been done. It is now October and the collection agency is now texting me asking for payment of the remaining balance. I DIDNT EVEN CHOOSE TO GET MY LABS DONE BY QUEST!!!!

      Had blood work done and the insurance paid then I received a statement saying I owe $10 called Quest and I was informed that I had a 0 balance and to tear up the statement and ignor well the next month it happened again and I called them and told them that I wanted to pay the amount and they said I didnt have a balance all together that happen 3 times , thinking that I didnt owe anything I received a collection statement from a collection agency for $10 called and paid the amount. Called Quest this morning to let them know I didnt appreciate it being turned over to a collection agency for $10 which I informed her that I tried to pay 3 times and was told I didnt have a balance then this. This company is a joke if they cant get billing right what makes them think they can get the results of the blood work right?

      I would give negative five stars to Quest if I could. Their billing system in my opinion borders on fraud. We have ******** and supplement insurance that pays 100% of the bill for my yearly wellness check. But since Quest took over *****'s billing, they keep billing me for the full amount. And don't try to call Quest unless you have 2 to 4 hours to sit on hold. The bill says quest may not have your insurance number, but the correct number is on the bill. Last year we went through the same circus and four other people we personally know had the same issues. I wrongly assumed they would have their system working properly after a year. I have been very satisfied with *****'s doctors and care, but we are getting very close to switching to the *** hospital network. I read reviews about test results not being timely. My wife and her friend had that same issue, but my results were quick. I really hope they get their act together as I would prefer to stay at Mercy but we don't need this aggravation.
