***** with My Guy Plumbing responded to my condo in Big Sky in late August to our kitchen sink being fully clogged and inoperable. He arrived in the afternoon and supposedly fixed the clog and billed me $350 for "snaking the drain 60 feet". By the next morning, sewage was backing up in the adjoining sink and bathtub!! He had merely pushed the clog less than 10 feet! ***** was now out of town so I had to call a drain specialist WHO ACTUALLY FIXED THE PROBLEM AND THOROUGHLY CHECKED THE ENTIRE CONDO BY RUNNING WATER THROUGH ALL THE SINKS, TOILETS, AND SHOWERS TO ENSURE THE ***** WERE ACTUALLY REMOVED! I AM LESS THAN SATISFIED THAT I GOT STIFFED WITH AN ADDITIONAL $506 CHARGE BECAUSE ***** HALF-STROKED THE *******Review from Nancy G

I had called another plumbing company but they couldnt accommodate my timeframe. They insisted on appointment for estimate next week before scheduling appointment for work to be done. I called My Guy Plumbing next. They were able to do the work the same day I called them. ***** came prepared with booklet showing price list for job to be done, He and his assistant installed my gas dryer. They were both very personable, informative and careful with the install. It was a bit pricey at $479.00 but I needed the work to be done this week and I was very happy with the work they did.MyGuy Plumbing & Drain Response

I've had MyGuy install a utility sink with pump in my basement to help my washer drain efficiently and install a new toilet in my upstairs bathroom. The office was helpful and responsive when I called each time, and they scheduled a technician quickly. The technician was thoroughly professional each time, and the work was impeccable. Prices were very fair for the quality of the work done. I will call them again when I have plumbing issues.MyGuy Plumbing & Drain Response

I used My Guy Plumbing to just hook up my bathroom sink to have running water. All fixtures were there already. Just had to put a few inches of copper and shutoff valves under sink and connect the drain. I am very upset about the price I paid??. I was charged over $1800.00 for this service, they totally took advantage of me. The job took about two hours only because they had to leave twice to go get parts???? But the shutoff valves had their company name on it already?? Do not use this company because it is not reasonably priced as their reviews stated. Totally ripped off ??MyGuy Plumbing & Drain Response

I am so sorry you feel this way. We try to stop our clients from this feeling, by making sure to give you the price up front before we start any project and having you sign before we move forward with any work. ************** explained that you and your husband were beyond excited to have your master bathroom finished and happy with the work, especially after waiting a year for someone you had hired prior to us start it and not complete it. I feel bad that you don't see the value of what we completed. We use high quality products, we bring the warehouse to you, our technicians are highly trained, we do all this so we can be efficient and get the job done in a timely manner, so you can get back to your life. I see you signed up for our membership, I would be happy to refund that to you to save you some money. I did try to call you three times and I attempted to text you to discuss what happened to make you feel this way. I was not successful in making contact with you. If you would like to give us a call at your earliest convenience I would be happy to discuss what made you so upset after we left. ************Review from Robert W

For me, It's A Hard Pass, shoddy work is an understatement, grifters is more like it. The work that **** from MyGuy Plumbing did lasted for a little over 6 months, and they did not stand behind the so called MyGuy Plumbing Family Membership plan of up to a 2 year warranty that **** so graciously sold us. **** from MyGuy Plumbing tried to scam my wife and I for $8,300 to install a new black poly main water feed line that he previously attached to with no problem in January, 2023. Then, on August 30th 2023 when I heard it spaying underneath my floor where it had been previously repaired by **** from MyGuy Plumbing, he told me it was old and from the ****'s and that it would be difficult to attach to, so we should change the whole Poly feed line to the curb stop or he could try and repair it but it would be difficult and he would need to dig in the dirt and jackhammer the foundation. I kid you not ********************* THE CONCRETE FOUNDATION The pictures I have clearly show the poly feed line is not from the ****s and exactly where it failed. It was **** from MyGuy Plumbings job that damaged it during the first repair by overheating it and creating a small port hole in it. When I asked for a video or clear picture of the location of the ****************** ignored the question, because I was unable to go under the house myself to see. Do Not **************** as ************************* the owner of MyGuy Plumbing said he stands behind his plumber ****'s evaluation of the poly water feed line being old from the ****'s. The new repair which took the new plumber less than 2 hours on that old so called failing line. This is Shameful practice in a **************** and they should be banned from Holiday City where they prey upon the elderly... If this is the way they treat family, I guess I must be an outcast!MyGuy Plumbing & Drain Response

We are sorry you feel this way about our company, we would be happy to show you the before and after pictures we took of our work, we installed and warrantied the valve we installed in January. The leak is before the fitting. The black poly pipe we adapted to was an old pipe that developed a pin hole and should be replaced due to age, as we explained during our visit. The leak is after the fitting we used to adapt to the new valve. This leak occurred 9 months after we installed the valve and is on the poly pipe that we did not replace so we cannot warranty. Had you not been so irate and intoxicated this morning, screaming and cursing in our technicians face, we could have explained this better. We even offered to credit the cost of the valve replacement towards the repair. You refused to have us make the repair. I called you on Tuesday and tried to offer you a full refund as we would like to cut any ties with you because of the way you treated our employee, we do not tolerate that abuse here at MyGuy so we will not work for you anymore. You and your wife proceeded to scream and curse at me over the phone. You then blackmailed us and said you will write a bunch of bad reviews if we didnt pay for the repair the other company you hired after us did. They charged you $400 more then the price we gave you. You do have a 2 year warranty on the valve we installed. We did not replace the poly line so the poly line that is leaking in is not under warranty. We also have before and after pictures of the original valve replacement showing there was no leak after our install. Your leak happened 9 months later on the poly line not the valve. I know you will have more leaks on this line in the future and I feel bad for the other company you had fix this issue, as I know you will try to hold them liable for your old line as you are us and it wont be their fault either. There are some people we just cant please. You had an old valve attached to black steel that we found and made you aware of how this is a health hazard and has the possibility of getting rust in your drinking water. We removed the black steel and valve and adapted to the poly line. We did not replace the black poly line which is now what is leaking. You should tell the whole story before trying to hurt a local small family owned company. For anyone reading this post please take the time to go through the rest of our reviews on ****** and look for ***** name and see if this post even holds truth for this employee as he is admired and loved by so many for his fantastic work, honesty, and knowledge in plumbing.
