      Hello, my name is **********************. Me, my boyfriend and my daughter moved in 12/24/2022. First we asked to be put on the siege rewards program and was told they had no papers for us to sign up, later found out it was done on the computer. We contacted corporate 3x about this matter and got no response or call back. We lived at this property for over a year and had no rewards. Second the cable company came to switch out the cords and our room was skipped twice! We called and was told they would be coming by and they never did so we went over 6 months without tv. I went downstairs to let management know my heater wasnt working and got a response with attitude I know it works I checked before you moved in but when maintenance came up to finally look at it a year later he told us it needed to be fixed. On January 6th 2023 I fell on ice right outside the property doors and when I asked for an incident report I was told that I was lying about falling outside (I have pictures!) February 3rd 2023 is the date I moved out and when I called to get into another property I was told I was put on a do not rent to list! I was never late on my rent, we didnt destroy any of the property, and we were respectful every time we came in contact with management. I dont think we should have been put on a do not rent to list, if anything we were cheated out of our money and we paid 350 a week.       I am the regional manager for the Reno location. I have no knowledge of the cable not working or the heat. I do know we had a cable upgrade last year and outside cable company had to come in and redo cable lines. In regards to no heat and it took a year before maintenance went and looked at it is unfounded. This building runs of a chiller for the summer and boiler for the winter so if her unit was not working she would not have had air conditioning as well which she does not state. With her fall the ** stated that the boyfriend mentioned to her but it happened at the Nugget which the Nugget owns the parking lot for Siegel Suites Sparks again no further information was provided to us. With the rewards again I that is done typically when someone moves in and according to the move in it was declined at that time, ***** states that she received no call back but I did receive a complaint about this issue in January and the boyfriend was told that we could sign him now but we would not be able to retro his points. Yes, ***** was placed on a never rent again due to the fact it took the staff 2 days to trash out and clean her unit in order to sell. I did however remove her from the never rent again status so if she chooses she can rent at any Siegel Suites. 

      With her complaints there is always a way to go above the ** if things are not being addressed as the boyfriend did by calling corporate 2x about the rewards back in Jan 2023 at no time in their occupancy with Siegel Suites did they call corporate to which they knew how to do about no cable or heat which are things that are extremely important to have. I have attached a copy of the email I received about the rewards. Thank you

      Long story short I was a days late with rent was told that I would not be able to no longer stay there and that I had to pay $100 move out fee of which they had my name and number left me numerous messages before could have told me that they were going to be evicting me if you want to say and I could have come and got my food that they threw away cuz they said it was perishable but in the meantime they decided to rob me of probably $800 worth of possessions I'm not going to go into a full list but I'll hit the big ones I had High Caliber bath towels because nothing was supplied at Seagull sweets and Casa Grande you have to supply everything they kept my cordless Shavers both ***** and hair they kept a digital scale they kept all my clothing socks underwear jeans jogging pants swim trunks they kept cookware stoneware set high end they kept my Crock-Pot they kept my strainer they kept all my seasonings they kept my coffee my sugar my coffee filters all which are not non-perishable and when I called back to ask to have all set items ready for my pickup they told me that there was nothing else they still had which is absolute bull so at any rate I'm finding this complaint as well as I'm going to small claims court to *** them for replacement value of all set items that they stole withheld whatever you want to call it as well as my hundred dollar move out fee because they didn't move all my possessions cuz he only gave me half my stuff back my name is already on the form I have no problems with this being submitted on the website thank you so much

      **************** picked up all his belongings on 2/14/2023.  The only thing that we threw away was the perishable foods that we did not pack out.

      This is concerning the handicap parking spots, I shouldn't have to go in the office and tell the manager *************************** or ***** the other person that works in the office that people without handicap tags or placards are parking in the spaces designated handicap parking spots, but over and over people park there and some even park between the handicap spots where the wheelchair ramp is. I have noticed that the security guard walks right past these vehicles and does nothing to have them move their vehicles, even ***** who works in the office, lives in one of the rooms right there at the handicap parking spots and does nothing when they are parked there. I would like to see the handicap parking spots painted better so people can see that these spots are for handicap parking only!!

      Hi There!

      We appreciate your feedback and have a resolution. 1. We have it scheduled to restripe the parking lot in the upcoming months. 2. We have instructed our Courtesy Patrol to issue parking violation notices to all illegally parked vehicles. 3.We  will be placing additional handicap signs to ensure clear visibility of the parking spots.  We certainly want  these parking spots clearly identifiable for all patrons.

      Beginning in the middle of December the hot water stopped getting hot and all we had was cold water running from both sides of the faucets, several of the tenants including myself spoke to the manager *************************** about this issue, we were told that they were working on the problem and trying to get it fixed, it has now been almost 2 months and still no hot water, we have to heat water up on the little burners just to wash off or cook or wash dishes. We would like Siegel select group to fix the problem instead of letting it go on and on. The worst thing about this is, the company has raised the rent twice in less than 6 months by over 30.00$ a week and refuses to fix problems that arise. We just want to have hot water

      We began having intermittent issues in December - with the current boiler shutting down. We immediately contacted our vendor to repair the solution - at that time, no issue was detected. The current boiler was installed in 2021 and is under warranty. We have reached out to the manufacturer to receive the warrantied replacement part. In addition, we have escalated this with our vendor and manufacturer to expedite the resolution. Siegel Select values all guest(s) and continue to work diligently to  on alternative solutions. We do not allow any issue to go unresolved within our control and will provide updates as we resolve them. Unfortunately, we do have to raise rates  at times but we always give advanced written  notice to prepare guests.

      The apartment building I reside in is infested with hundreds on hundreds of roaches. I have been to the office multiple time to complain and ask for a different unit and was denied each time. The solution they gave me was a can of oven cleaner they claimed killed the bugs. that does not help. I have lived here for almost a full year and am completely disgusted by the property and property management. It has become so bad that the cockroaches crawl on me in my sleep and as Im just relaxing on the couch. I dont even cook at home due to the cockroaches getting into the food even while still cooking on the stove. The cockroaches are evolving and getting wings. I no longer want to stay on the Siegel suites ******* I would like to be transferred to another property.

      I am rejecting this response because the pest control Siegel Suites ******* has provided does NOT resolve the health issue. Cockroaches have made nests in our electronics ( TV, Speakers, and cooking appliances) and clothing. We requested a move to another location. Not pest control.

      I left this property before my actual rent was due spoke with employee returned my key no balance nothing owed just checked my credit report it states I owe them money no email or phone call stating there was a balance so why is there an amount showing on my credit report of $400 some odd dollars that I know I dont owe especially when the place wasnt up to par ceilings leaking roaches constantly asking for new furniture everything was used and old and need replaced I was told everything was backed up and dealt with the situation. so how can I owe ****** suites anything would definitely need an explanation

      I have been on rental assistance since March of this year. We were evicted on 11/28/22 even though I was in the county system for rental help. We will be getting assistance to move into a new place by the county, the same agency. Your locations her in ********* all accept Chap as payment for late rent, but not for move in costs. I am not asking to move in for free today,just a lease agreement to fax to my case worker to get the money approved faster. Instead I have been unable to get any process started due to a policy I don't understand. I have no alternative but to sleep outside.

      I am not sure how we can help this person.  I am unable to ascertain if this is a current tenant or someone trying to move into one of our many establishments?  Regarding Lease agreements, we do not have a lease agreement we can provide as we do not make our tenants sign leases.  We would only be able to offer a move in agreement and proof of residency if this is a current tenant.  If I could get a bit more information we may be able to assist in getting this person placed.  We certainly are not interested in seeing someone sleeping on the streets if we can be of assistance.  I would encourage this person to call our sales room ************.  ******************** is familiar with county placements and how to accommodate this situation.

      I rented an apartment unit in one of the ****** Suites apartments from October 2021 to May 10th of 2022.*Location *********************************************************** Although there were many, many issues with the apparently I paid my rent in time was was a good tenant. I also had previously rented from the same location many years before hand and was an excellent tenant at that time as well.When I moved out in May 10th I was told by the property manager Rich, that it would take 48 hours for my rental deposit to be released and therefore the corporate office would mail it to me. I was told this would be done quickly and I provided my forwarding address. It has now been over 6 months and each time I call for an update Rich tells me that he has called the corporate office and that its coming- however 6 months is an unacceptable amount of time to wait on a rental deposit return, especially since it is for a merger amount of $70. I would genuinely appreciate and and all assistance getting this matter resolved as I can not seem to get the company to follow their own policy of returning the rental deposit upon move out.Thank you.

      upon further review, it was concluded the resident did not follow proper procedures to qualify for her deposit to be refunded, we are making an exception & will process a refund for her deposit to be returned, it will be processed tomorrow & will take **** business days to reflect in her account.

      In the BBB communication the former tenant said they found our resolution to be satisfactory to them.  To the BBB you stated that our resolution was unsatisfactory to the former tenant.  Your message is inconsistent with the complainants statement.  We agreed to refund the security deposit as an exception.  The Tenant agreed and said this resolution was satisfactory, please update your records accordingly.  Thank you.

      I would like to file a on Boulder Highway and *************** in ********* ******. I was a tenant there during the covid-19 shutdown. I rented from Siegel suites from June to September 2021. I was forced to move out by management because I could not pay the full week rent the week of September 17th 2021. I had not filed a complaint because I did not know for sure if short term or extended stays were covered under the eviction moratorium due to the covid-19 shutdown. I have been suffering from that initial situation since the event, because when they force me to leave there was nowhere to rent because of the eviction moratorium. Up until then I had paid my rent on a weekly basis always on time, that week I had an issue with my unemployment would prevented me from making the payment. I was never informed by management of the **** program for the rental assistance. They did not give me any options to make the payment later or make payments on the half of week I was missing. The management was harassing the day I became delinquent and threatening to evict me immediately if I did not move my stuff and leave the premises that day. Now that I know that they extended stays were covered under the eviction moratorium, I feel that I would treated unjustly and should never have suffered these continuation of losses. Siegel suites have terrible management and they don't seem to follow the laws that are in place to protect the tenants that rent from them.

      This is a continuance of my complaint made on 429/2022 October 2nd of 2021 there was a fire March 23rd of 2022 there was a flood a sewage flood as well as 2 weeks before that my car was illegally towed when the flood happened ******************* called me the next day which is a whole entire scenario of what happened during the flood basically was stuck in a sewage flood up to my ankles from 3:30 in the afternoon till 1:30 in the morning before they finally took me out of there and still had to tread through the one foot of sewage water throughout my whole entire apartment to get the rest of the things that weren't damaged out of the apartment to move to the next apartment either way ******************* called me that next day let me know that they were putting in a different apartment he apologizes about the situation and told him to make him a list of all the damages so that he can reimburse me I went ahead and made a report that started from the fire my car being illegally towed as well as all the things that happened during the flood as well as the list of Damages that were done during the flood thinking that I would turn in the list and receive my reimbursement well since then ******************* is never not one time contacted me I've called I've left messages several times I went to the office the office staff has told him several times I've left messages I filed the complaint with the BBB Etc I see that ************* had just replied to response in April of 22 on the BBB site as well as several other employees I've went through all the responses and found some other employees numbers and names and I'm going to contact several of them today the one I have already called last week was ************ i called ***** let her know what was going on she said she was going to pass the message on to ************* I still have no received any call back from her or ************* the next step after this will be to file a civil suit against the Siegel Suites for my vehicle being illegally towed and all the damages fro
