      We were given one price and now we are having to pay another price. They keep nickel and diming us for everything. We were told that the had there own movers that our hourly associates. When the movers came they were with a different company. Everyone I have spoke with has been super rude since I have been calling to complain and ask different questions. I was told my items would arrive on June 5th and now I'm being told that they can't give me an ETA on when the truck is going to be there. So now I'm sleep on the floor in my apartment because I can't get my stuff delivered. I have never been treated so rudely or with so much disrespect. Has to be the worst moving company ever. Please let everyone you know to not us this company.

      These people are thiefs. They gave me a price for moving when they load the truck they told me that I need to pay $4000 more because I have 3 more boxes and some more items not listed. So I end up paying like 3500 more, where did you see that? I literally also had a heart attack. Then when they arrived they wanted to charge $75 for each step in my building because they was not elevators, which I dont know and they never ask. They send a one man to do the move by himself which he had to help me and give him water the poor man. Finally, Im missing stuff specially important documents and thing of value for me and get boxes from other people. Sorry, but these Middle East people have lots to learn how to handle business in *******. Im not taking this abuse

      My furniture was picked up in ***** approximately April 21. I got there told them how much I wanted to spend. They told me to load everything. It would be $300 more once they loaded it. They said it was $600 more told them that they could deliver to ********** around the fifth, but if the fourth, I could have my son there, they gave the delivery people the wrong telephone number. The man showed up at my house supposedly on the fourth. He couldnt get a hold of me even though my son lives two houses down he left, took my furniture to ******* is now going midwest. Once he gets done going to *******. He will be coming back to ********** who will then maybe get my furniture to me in North ******** I have called and told them I needed my furniture. Im living in a home with nothing but a mattress on the floor theyve told me theres nothing they can do about it. Theyre hoping I can get it in about 10 days but no guarantees.

      Booked in December 2023 with a $2342 deposit. Said over and over full refund within 72 hours of canceling I actually gave them a two month notice for ***** and they refused to give me back my deposit. The reason I canceled is because it was costing too much and I decided to sell my furniture instead. I had my bank investigate, but they told my bank they will give me a credit of for one year. How can I use that? I am a widow Im a senior and I am so disgusted with this company dont ever use them , they are liars they scam people. I will never see that deposit again and it makes me sick to my stomach. I wont even use the credit for anything because ** afraid to use them.

      They had us complete an inventory list and quoted a price based on inventory list. They advised they had their own movers and not contractors. When movers arrived and packed our belongings, movers were contractors, not affiliated with the company. Movers had their own pricing guidelines. The price quoted by the moving company was doubled and totally inaccurate. They pulled a bait and switch. They said it was a two day guaranteed delivery once they pick up your item. That is totally false. Asking for help from anyone at the company is futile. It appears they store your items somewhere and you are at their mercy when and if they deliver your items.

      North American Moving gave me a moving estimate total cost of $1877.65. The moving company they contracted ultimately charged me $3,025.60 for the same number of items I gave North American during the estimate (see bottom of May 12 moving estimate doc). I tried to call them many times for help speaking with the moving company. In an effort to recoup some of the costs, I filed a claim with my credit card company for the $706.64 deposit I paid North American (claim was denied). North American refuses to deliver my items until I wire them $706.64 as their merchant has put a hold on the $706.64 that my credit card company paid. They indicated I will have to pay the full $3,025.60 because my estimate was based on cubic feet, not number of items. As a customer, I relied on ********************************************* to properly estimate the cubic feet of my goods. North American refused to connect me with their ********** of ************** representative. I am certain they will also charge me extra for "holding" my items in "storage". I told North American that I am happy to pay the amount they quoted me, but not over $1,000 more. The representatives I spoke with today yelled at me repeatedly; my credit card representative can corroborate and North American says they record all calls.

      This broker of moving services doesn't give a darn about you , your property or who they subcontact with. In a nutshell, they were deceptive about pricing. The price doubled from the initial contract. I removed items to reduce the cubic footage and was still overbilled. Further, they are not responsive to emails or phone calls. If you do reach someone, they don't follow through. The subcontractors showed up to load in crocks and sweat pants, so unprofessional. They took much longer than needed and charged for additional space and materials. The delivery was just as bad with only one man to move my then damaged ,furniture. My son and I had to work and move the things we were paying someone else to do. Steer clear of this company, I think you can do much better without a broker. Especially ones line North American moving LLC, they don't give a ****.

      **** gave me an estimate of ****. I paid the deposit of 688 . We left ******** on the May 25th . They were to deliver our stuff on the May 28th. They are to move our stuff from ****** ** to ****. They said the truck broke down today is June 26th and the Diispatch ***** just called me to say they are unable to move our stuff we had to pay additional storage fees. Buy clothes and a bed all along be reassured they find a truck

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They tell you all the things you want to hear just to later find a loophole and not follow through. They never once explained how this process was actually going to go. They move your stuff from truck to truck, storage unit to storage unit until they have ************ loaded to head your way. They will give you 2 dates of delivery only to then say they have 30+ days from that date to actually deliver. Our stuff was over 4 weeks late. They are impossible to get a hold of and you will NEVER be in contact with the same person. We tried calling over and over again, texting, emailing. Just to be ****** until the last minute. They finally answered when it was too late to get a refund without losing our deposit. They called 2 days before pickup only to give a whole new estimate 3x the amount of the original. We went from $5000 to $15000 and didn't even add anything! The guy we first talked to just didn't give us enough space. By the way, they will tell you a 3 bedroom house will be $5000, but we paid $15000 and didn't even take beds, couches, tables, or any of the big things. Absolutely insane!! This is not even the half of the problems we experienced. PLEASE learn from us!

      ************************* gave me and estimate baiting me to a $2500 move from ******************* to *******, **. On that premise, ****** asked me to pay a one--third deposit of $816. I paid the deposit with my debit card Then a woman called us, who told us she was ******'s manager. She went over the list of goods with me and called back and raised the price to $10417.49 figuring we had **** cf. I kindly asked for my money back and was told I signed a contract, and they would keep my deposit. Yes, under the assumption the price would be somewhere close to the $2500. I offered to give them $3500 for the extra space as we added a few more things, The manager would not budge on the $10K+ figure so I went to a reputable moving company *** Moving Solutions, gave them our updated list of furnishing, same list that North American Moving Services, LLC was given. *** Moving Solutions figured 685 cf. @ $3.75 per cf. for a total move of $3873.41. I saved $6544.08 by going with *** Moving Solutions. Guess what, North American Moving Services, LLC refuses to return our deposit as we didn't contact them in time was one reason. We didn't get the call from the manager telling us about the jump from $2500 up to $10,+ until just after the time limit was up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND NORTH AMERICAN MOVING SERVICES, LLC to anyone as their business practices rate a 0 with me.
