    I purchased a Glycolic Skin ***** System from Serious Skincare on a trial basis because the company advertised a money-back/exchange policy. After following the application instructions, the product was too irritating for my skin. I called the 800 number provided to exchange products and stop the subscription. The representative told me that couldn't be done and that I must email my request, I have done that with No Response, yet this company subtracted $89.95 monthly from my account. Please help resolve this issue. I hate to contact BBB but I can not get a contact person from Serious Skincare to change this subscription.

    Every review is the same thing that happened to me. If I could give less stars I would. The responses to these complaints are all formula that each and every one of us "INADVERTENTLY" signed up for the subscription. How about a company having more apparent wording so that they don't have to blame their customers for ordering and not realizing that they are going to get charged monthly for a product they don't want. After the second shipment, I sent them a message to cancel my subscription from their website's contact form. After another shipment, I assumed that order must have crossed over from the time I submitted a cancellation message. After yet another shipment and charge, I called the company. They would only refund the last shipment. I have three extra tubes and they would only refund the last one. I explained that I had already submitted a cancellation. The representative claimed there was not any record of that. Oh, I bet not. I am sure that's part of the scam. Only businesses that don't back their products and procedures and lack intergrity are the ones who continue to charge for unwanted products and not offer refunds, as well as blame their customers for "INADVERTENTLY" signing up for a subscription. I would be satisfied with a refund for the the last three unopened packages. I never even opened the mailing package. I will gladly add that if the business acts with integrity, I would follow up to say that they did so. I still have hope in the fact that this company will do what's right. Until then, BUYERS BEWARE! READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

    I left a review on 06/13/24 regarding my experience with this company. I wanted to add an update that I promptly received a very satisfactory response to my concerns and the company stated they have tried to make the wording more clear. After this, I am pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and would give them another try.

    Melissa, we apologize, you should have been refunded for all orders, after the first contact with us. You should hear back from our support team regarding your refund within 24 hours. And we do take responsibility for so many people ordering the less expensive subscription price versus the One Time Purchase price. We have tried to make the wording much clearer on our web site. Thank you.
