SCAMMERS, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THEY ARE OUT TO STEAL YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND WHEN YOU NEED THEM THEY DENY EVERYTHING. AMERICAN DREAM MY ***, MORE LIKE AMERICAN NIGHTMARE!!! BUNCH OF LOW LIFE THIEVES. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY FOR MONTHS AND THEN THEY DENY YOUR CLAIMS AND THAN CHARGE YOU $250 TO CANCEL YOUR POLICY. I HAD A REAR MAIN SEAL GO OUT AND TRANSMISSION LINES FAIL, OIL PAN GASKET AND VALVE COVER GASKET FAIL AND NONE OF IT WAS COVERED. DRIVERS SIDE POWER FOLD MIRROR FAILED AND STILL NOT COVERED. IT'S ALL **... DO NOT GET FOOLED... SAVE YOUR MONEY AND WORK WITH YOUR MECHANIC INSTEAD. See attached for everything they don't cover...

I spontaneously purchased a policy, and after a few hours, I decided to cancel the policy. Nothing to do with the company, but felt I needed to rethink my decision. I was confronted with multiple questions by multiple people who were overly aggressive. I was repeatedly asked in a demanding manner why I was canceling. This was unacceptable. Based upon my experience, red flags were waved and if this is the aggressive behavior that they operate with, I would not take the chance of using them ever again.

American First Auto Protect is a down right SCAM. If I could give them negative stars I would. This is the first time I have been totally scammed out of a large amount of money and will never deal with another auto warranty company again. These people are criminals and they should be and will be held accountable in a court of law.

I would not purchase American Dream Auto Protect (ADAP) under any circumstances. How do I know? Unfortunately, I was one of the wistful customers who made the mistake and went against peoples advice and bought a platinum extended warranty policy for $4.8k. What happened is the sales rep swore up and down that all my concerns would be covered. He was even believable for a hot second as he did list some things that would not be covered. I purchased it feeling great (I like the peace-of-mind feeling). Fast forward 5 months my autopilot computer died. I file a claim. As soon as I talked to someone in claims I had a sinking feeling as they started to say things that contradicted what was told to me by my sales rep (Richard T******. I went through the process anyway, emailed them the invoice. They said they'd get back to me in 1, at most 2 business days. A week passes and I don't get a call back nor responses via email. I called and emailed. They didn't pick up and they didn't email back. When I called to get a refund, I was told I'd only get a partial refund as they aren't responsible for this and tried a variety of strategies to deflect my request for a full refund. Between telling me that he "gets it" and that he's "a customer too", talking over me (because I'm a woman?), talking at me, that he can't control the vehicle repair shops and a bunch of things that I should have done (I did), that claims is a different department, offering to transfer me to the department, and so much more I can't even list them all here. FYI, all this is from when I spoke with a Kelvin (spelling?) James, who's supposedly the head / director of customer retention and refused to escalate my case because he's "above the supervisors". He finally offered to resolve my case for me and offered to pay me $1k for my troubles (my repairs claim was over $2k) or to give me a menial partial refund pro rated for the duration in which I've had the policy minus a bunch of fees.

Bought a Platinum Policy back in April 2023. Asked and was told that my transmission for my 2011 Porsche would be covered not just from the sales person but some management person as well. So last month I had an issue and they claim that my transmission isn't covered and is listed in the exclusions as PDK. Why would you sell me a Policy that has any exclusions for a PDK, which I had no idea what that even was? They sell a product based on the vehicles and all Porsche Panamera 4s have a PDK for the transmission. Terrible customer service, several Porsche dealerships and repair shops have told me that they have NEVER had to deal with a joke of a warranty company like this.

In May of 2021 I bought a mechanical policy for my motor car from American First Auto Protect for $2308.00. This policy cover my vehicle for 39 months. I am here today 10/30/2023 calling the company at the number they supplied me to take care of my AC repairs, and the number does not ring, then cuts off. I need help to get my money back.

On Jul 2, 2021 I paid $2,300 for the Platinum plan for my 2014 *** ****. On Sept. 5th 2022 I try contacting AFA to make a claim and no luck getting any contact with anyone. Then submitted claim forms with no response. Avoid this company! Scam!!!

This company is a rip off and we as people need to file a claim with the BBB, I paid 6000 for 2 plans on 2 separate cars and I can’t through to nobody do repairs. When I initially got the plan they where answering the phones and now when I call the call drop after the first ring. I want my money back and I’m going to fight for, who’s in with me.

I’ve submitted claim forms with no response from their website. It states that there will be a quick response to the claim. Weeks later no call, or email. I’ve called their numbers that now seem to be out of service though these were working at the time of purchase. No other phone number available except for a message center to email. Their sales manager is Colin Green. He seems nice, but have give me false hope. I regret spending money on this scam. How can these thoughtless people pray on consumers and their hard earned money !
