Had driveway sealed. They did this in the rain and it all washed away. They came back weeks later and the sealer is peeling. They said it was because there is too much sealer on the driveway. They received payment but will not correct the issue. They aren’t willing to satisfactorily complete. They hung up on me after telling me it is my fault. I want my money back as I have to hire someone else. Initially started this process early in the season.Business response

We offered a full refund to the customer. We also attempted to reseal the driveway but there was a car parked there. The customer was told to have the driveway cleared when they made the appointment and again when they received their reminder call.Customer response

In July, I received an unsolicited estimate in the mail from Baughman to seal my driveways. at my house for $165 plus tax. I have two driveways at my house. I called Baughman and told them I would like to have one driveway sealed--the long driveway-- but I could not afford the estimate for both. They agreed that they would remeasure the driveway and calculate the price based on that. Logically, the estimate would be less than the estimate for both--or so I thought. I scheduled an appointment for August 17 and when I got home I found they sealed the one driveway I wanted, and left me a bill for $178.20($165+tax). I called Baughman on August 18 and and explained my problem to their representative who said their manager would call me back later that afternoon. I did not hear from them.Business response

this was clearly a misunderstanding on the office part. We would like to offer to do the driveway for $100.00 plus tax. Please let me know if this works and we will adjust the bill. Going forward, the long driveway will be $235.00 plus tax.Thank you,*******Customer response

We had Baughman magic seal out to seal our black top driveway on August 17,2022. As they were sealing the drive, a huge thunderstorm hit. Hot sealant splattered halfway up our garage door and our siding. The company did re-seal the drive at a later time and sent a power washing company to clean the siding of the house. The problem is the splattered garage door that needs painting. We have asked over and over to get this fixed. They did say it would be painted but we have been waiting for almost two months to have this property damage fixed. The outside painter they hire to do this is not coming. I have asked for them to call other companies to get someone sooner before winter, but to my knowledge that has not been done. All we want is to have the damage that has been done to our home, fixed. I would not recommend this company to anyone considering driveway seal because they have not been professional in handling this matter. With the many companies out there that do sealing, I would choose a more reliable company.Business response

Hi *******, We have been diligently trying to find a reputable painting company for the door. We have been following up with our contractor on a daily basis, unfortunately, we are at the mercy of his schedule. We have also tried to contact other painters in the area but are not getting a response. As promised, we did send a power washer over to clean up the sealer, and as soon as we find another painting company we will be in touch.
