I attended the yankee game Sunday 6/9/24 with my son stayed in section 123 row 3 seat 1and 2 we ordered food in the third inning and it never arrived and nobody came to explain to us why. I paid a lot of money for those seats we were disappointed in the staff.Business response

The concessions order is handled through the Stadium's concessionaire via UberEats and not the Yankees. Nevertheless, we've asked ******** to refund the amount claimed. However, ******** informed us that they have twice tried contacting ************************ & he has not returned their calls. UberEats needs the specific Order Number, which should be present in the App that ************************ used to make the purchase. Please provide same & we will make sure the refund is issued.Initial Complaint

We arrived at yankees stadium approximately 10 am for a 105 start time for a Saturday ***** game. There was NO organization regarding lines or entryways. As a CLEAR member, that line was not identified. When trying to find the end of the line from representatives wearing CLEAR hats and jackets, they either walked away without a response or had no information regarding where to join the lines ("I don't know", "I work at MSG"). We never found the CLEAR entrance. After waiting 2 hours within a pushing mob, we finally entered the stadium at ****** but there were no bobbleheads remaining for my 3 ticket holders. The game did not look sold out. This was my worst experience in 25 years of attending multiple Yankee games per year, including sold out playoff and World Series games. (Even the 1996 World Series ticket experience, waiting in line for 13 hours was better). The lack of crowd control, the lack of security was inexcusable for an experienced organization that has been responsible for large events for decades.As a season ticket holder for over 20 years, the customer service is appalling. I get no response from my Yankees representative for information. Many of the season tickets holders in my section have cancelled their tickets. We regret that ****************** did not have a pleasant experience while attending the 04/20/24 game, which was expected to be a sellout because of the ***** Judge bobblehead giveaway &************************* retirement ceremony. Tickets to the game were in high demand and the Yankees encouraged fans to arrive early, with some arriving as early as 7:00 a.m. Ultimately, over ****** fans attended the game.
Our records indicate that ****************** had likely foreseen the high demand for tickets for this game since he resold his tickets for $186 even though the face value was only $26.13/ticket. He then obtained 2 other tickets ($26.13 face value/ticket) and used them to gain entry to the Stadium at 12:02 p.m. on 04/20/24.
The Yankees have offered to show ****************** the CLEAR entry lanes at the Stadium so that he would not have trouble entering the next time. In addition, ****************** was informed that the Yankees could not agree to his demand for 2 Delta Suite tickets and 3 ***** Judge bobbleheads since the $1,200 value of such a demand ([$150/**************** bobblehead value on **** x 3] + [$375/Delta ticket x 2 = $750] = $1,200) far exceeded his actual loss (if any),especially since he had already profited over $130 from the resale of his original tickets with a face value of $26.13/ticket.
Based on the foregoing, the Yankees must regrettably reject ********************** unreasonable demand.Initial Complaint

On 8-7-23 I purchased through PEF Membership benefits program website for a NY Yankees game on 9-23-23 for $204.00. The Yankee game was rained out and as such I was given an email from PEF MBP on 9-25-23 advising me I can exchange my tickets on yankees.com/raincheck for any home game in the 2024 season. I have made multiple attempts to exchange the tickets on the yankees.com website as instructed to no avail . I wrote email (3-16-24 see below)to yankees.com explaining my issue with a read receipt and did not recieve any response back. I called ticketmaster on multiple occasions and was given the following telephone numbers to call: ************ (no longer in service) ************ (some Yankees text group about upcoming events no options to talk or to exchange tickets) , ************** (tells me to go to the website to exchange). I have purchased mutliple tickets through ticketmaster and have done plenty exchanges so I understand how to do exchanges. In conclusion I need a live operator to assist with exchange of these tickets as the website is broken or faulty and will not process my exchange. If this is not possible then I request a full refund of the total amount instead. Thank youBusiness response

Dear The Business Bureau,I am writing to seek your assistance in obtaining a refund for my Yankees Universe membership, which was purchased through the New York Yankees organization on March 26th, 2023, at the price of $59.95. The grounds for this request stem from the cancellation of a scheduled game, as well as the organization's policy regarding refunds for such circumstances.On a game in September, I had purchased tickets for a game scheduled to take place at **************. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, the game was rained out, preventing me from attending and enjoying the experience for which I had paid.Per the New York Yankees' policy, in the event of a rained-out game, ticket holders are *********** a refund. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to their customer service department regarding this matter, I have not received any response or assistance in processing the refund.As a loyal customer and member of the ********************** Universe, I am disappointed by the lack of communication and adherence to the organization's own refund policy. As lifelong Yankee fans my ******* both purchased for the first time Yankee Universe memberships for the 2023 season. The cost of the membership includes a membership card, Yankees universe shirt and 2 game tickets each. My son received his membership card but I did not. Neither of us received the shirt we ordered. After several attempts at contacting Yankee Universe and leaving messages I received an envelope with a childs size plain yankee t-shirt with no explanation. At the stadium I tried to speak to someone in customer service and no one could help. I was told to call the yankee universe # and again after leaving several messages I received no response. My son used his 2 game tickets for the **************** bobblehead giveaway game which was cancelled due to rain and when he tried to exchange them for another game he was told he cannot because the Yankees consider them complimentary. These tickets were not free. We paid for them by purchasing the membership. So in essence we did not receive anything as advertised. No where in the membership details does it state that the tickets cannot be exchanged in the event of a cancelled game. This is complete false advertisement and poor customer service by the **********************. We paid for absolutely nothing. We feel taken advantage of, ignored and robbed. $120 may not seem like a lot of money to the organization but it is to hard working people who just want to support their team and enjoy a game.Business response

I have been a yankees season ticket holder for over 10 years and this year i wished to cancel my season tickets for the **** season. When i saw my tickets had been "auto-renewed" i immediately reached out to my ticket representative ******. He did not respond to texts and calls and when i did finally call ************** (without giving a reason for the call..meaning i didnt reference cancellation) i finally got transferred to him in touch with him. It has now been over 3 weeks of trying to get a refund or to connect with management at ************** without being able to. They claimed i received am email notifying me but i did not or any other communication. I feel cheated and ignored. Please help.Business response

The game on Saturday was rained out and then they replayed it on Yom Kippur. And of course had the worst attendance of the entire season, yet the Saturday rained out game was **************** bobble head day probably sold ****** tickets.Business response

*An email i sent to the New York Yankees*Account ******** I had purchased 4 tickets for the Yankees vs Twins ( Section 214b Row 8 seats 17 to 20) for September 6, 2022. The game was rained out.I have tried repeatedly to exchange the tickets for a game in the 2023 season however Ive had no luck. Every time I try online I get the following response The billing info doesnt match what is on file with your bank. Ive talked to my bank and they have no response to this error.I was so frustrated I called your Season Ticket Holders line on Thursday August 17th, 2023 and a lady was kind enough to move the seats to Tuesday September 5th, 2023 , section 214b, row 14 seats 3 to 6. She said an email would arrive within 24 hours confirming the new order. It did not.It comes towards the game day, September 5th and I received nothing, no emails, no tickets and the same response from the online manager. I went online and the seats that your ticket lady said were selected for me were still unsold!.I called at least 20 times on September 2nd, 4th and 4th, plus texted (September 5th at 08:19) and nobody answered any of your phone lines and no-one responded to my texts. I even tried to text again on Wednesday September 6th at 16:52. Again, no response.I have called Ticketmaster as they handle your tickets and they refuse to help as the original date has passed. They advise that it is a New York Yankees problem.As the season is winding down Im very concerned that I will not be able to use these tickets. I would like a refund. I have read your refund policy, however I have the New York Yankees have not facilitated a replacement. I paid $506.78 USD ($685.48 CAD) for these tickets. *******************Business response

On July 4 of this year, I purchased a ticket for the September 8th game, "Fordham Night at **************" using my **** card. When I attempted to download my ticket to my phone hours before game time, I was unable to do so. I spent well over an hour on the phone with Ticketmaster, because I was under the impression that they handled ticketing for the Yankees. They were unable to find the ticket under my name or email account. So I was not able to attend the game and was out $52.57.Today I found out that the purchase was handled by a company named ****, whom I had never heard of. I contacted them, and they told me that I should have contacted them or the Yankees directly, not Ticketmaster, that night. They also informed me that the Yankees have a strict "No Exchanges, No Refunds" policy, and they could not, therefore, refund my purchase without the consent of the Yankees, and they suggested I contact them directly.I did so, by email, and I said that understand the policy, and I am asking that you make an exception in this case and allow **** to refund my purchase. I was not able to attend a game that I really looked forward to, for reasons beyond my control, given what I knew at the time. I am a retired senior, a Yankee fan since my childhood, and $52.57 is a significant loss for me.Business response

I bought four tickets for June 7, 2023 Yankees game. I was never able to upload tickets to my phone. I tried for hours. I even deleted and re-loaded Ticketmaster app but tickets never loaded. Then Yankees canceled the June 7 game due to poor air quality after I had already traveled and checked into (non-refundable) hotel. The game was doubleheader next day but Yankees wouldn't allow me to use ticket. I had bought four tickets total to go with friends who had traveled from out of town. Yankees emailed me a link to redeem rain check, but after I log in, I receive an error message saying they are having "technical difficulties" and won't let me redeem the rain checks. I emailed Yankees twice to get help but received no response. I called and was directed to get a text message from them which I did and described the problem but no response. I'd like to go to July 5 game in two days but cannot get ahold of Yankees to redeem the tickets I already paid for. I tried calling numerous Yankees phone numbers but none allow you to actually speak to a human and many just have annoying busy signals. At this point I want money back for the four June 7 tickets and paid for and can't redeem as rain checks.Business response
