I contacted Rvinyl on 12/14/22 regarding the differences in the 2 dash kits that Rvinyl has for sale on their website. I was in contact with ********************* (have full chat thread history emailed to me) who confirmed that there was really no difference other than about $30 in price. After confirmation, I ordered the kit and spent $167.95 total. I received my kit the night of 12/20. Yesterday, 01/08/23 was the first nice weather day here in AL to be able to install this kit. Upon attempted installation, I realized that the majority of this kit doesn't fit my car. I was only able to use 5 out of 17 pieces provided in kit that's represented on their website as a 37 piece kit. I reached out again today, via Rvinyl's chat tool on their website, and got ahold of ****************** explained the problem in it's entirety to **************** who then stated that needed to provide pictures, which I did. After researching further, their website now reflects the "accurate kit pictures" (17 pieces and not 37 pieces as originally confirmed) and is now only $89.99 and not the $167.95 that I originally paid. I inquired about the pricing as well. ****** told me that she'd refund the difference of $52 but required additional information to escalate for a full refund. I again provided all of the required necessary documentation as well as pictures to ****** confirming my fitment issue. I also stated that a partial refund for a partial kit doesn't solve my problem. I would pay more for the correct kit if they could guarantee it or I would remove the 5 applied pieces and return the entire kit for an entire refund. ****** then explained that I needed to provide installation pics of where these pieces didn't fit but when explaining the issue, ****** stated "since these couple pieces were installed, I wouldn't receive a full refund. What type of scam is this? I've since left a bad review on both the product review email as well as ******* and also filed a dispute with my credit card company.Business Response

Simply put, I've never had this poor of an experience buying anything online in my life.These guys were a really bad experience. I ordered vinyl pillar wraps online for my car (2013 Land Rover LR4), and when they arrived they didn't fit. Meaning they weren't cut correctly for my car. They obviously are cutting the wrong template, which I can understand, but of course I no longer want this product. When I complained they asked me to send pictures, which I did, and they replied saying this was how they were designed to fit, and they wouldn't offer a refund. (The specifics: The photos I sent clearly showed that the fit was correct at the top of the pillar, but got narrower as it went down, and ending up way too narrow at the bottom of the post. I replied that their reasoning ("designed this way") didn't make sense since the fit was different at the top than the bottom. And also that their website was full of photos of this product that showed a correct fit. The customer service person said she was checking with management, then came back and said they had refused to do the return, then stopped replying.)$50 in the grand scheme of things isn't a huge amount of money, but the way these guys do business was unbelievable to me. I also wanted to leave a review on their website, where all the reviews are excellent (unlike on **** and ********** and **********) and there wasn't an option to leave one. Which led me to believe that these reviews may be phony, or curated (which would range anywhere from unethical to illegal).Buyer beware.Business Response

I purchased this product from the company and used Amazon pay. While the look of the product and installation was good. The safety of this product is why I am reviewing. I had to stop on the interstate and remove the film from my headlights. I had almost zero visibility and it was very dangerous. I have contact customer support multiple times and they say it is my fault. I first asked to replace the blackouts with the smoke version (no response). Second I reviewed the product with no response. Third, I contacted through Amazon. I received a response from the company again saying that I should have known that their product would almost completely eliminate my visibility.Business Response

On Aug 16th ************************************************ the amount of $105.95 without my knowledge. I immediately contacted Rvinyl support within hours of the original order. In my email I explained to them that my son ordered these items without my permission and I'm requested cancellation of this order #******. The following morning Aug 17th 2022 I received a reply from Collet M (Rvinyl ***************** via email. In the email he stated that "Unfortunately we are no longer able to cancel as the order has been processed." I then request if this issues could escalated to a supervisor due to the circumstances. **************** said he would forward my request to someone else in the company. Later in the day I received a email stating that my item is preparing for shipment. In response to the shipping email I responded via email stating. Its become obvious now that you guys had no intentions of escalating or considering cancelling this order. I contacted you guys immediately (within 3 hours) after I noticed that my card was used fraudulently. I don't understand how your company can be so unreasonable to my request to cancel due to fraudulent use of my credit card. I guess it's all about the $$ with your company. I ordered the following product:RTrim ***** CR-V 2007-2011 *********** Trim Order number: ****** Upon receipt, the trim does not do what it is advertised to do, which is full cover my old trim. The way it is cut leaves gaps, where the old trim is still visible.I contacted rvinyl, sent pictures of this issue, and requested a refund.Rvinyls response was: This is how the kit is designed to fit, sorry and offered me a store credit.I do not want a credit. In the month of June, 2022, I had ordered a sheet of paint protection film in a particular color and finish from *********** When I had received the vinyl wrap I noticed that it was the wrong color than what I had ordered and seen in the product description and photos. The color I had ordered was a matte black finish of vinyl and the one I had received was a transparent matte. Considering the price I had to pay for the vinyl I wanted to make sure I received the right color and reached out via email to *********** At which point we exchanged multiple emails to find a resolution to exchange or return the product. Unfortunately even after sending photos of what I received, I was told that the vinyl was the correct item and that no return would be possible.Business Response

Purchased post decals for my 2017 ***** Malibu. They first sent me an incomplete order missing, two door post decals and the application squeegee. i called and they sent another package which was supposed to contain the missing items. It did not. I did not receive the squeegee or the missing door post decals. Instead they sent another set of the original door decals which I already had and another set of the of the rear side door window decals totaling 4. My car only has two rear side window trims. I called today July 5 and asked for a refund and was told management declined the request. The decals have not been used and the error is Rvinyls. I sent them pictures of their error and they still denied my refund request. While writing this complaint Rvinyl has just texted me offering a refund for the missing squeegee and a store credit for the rest. I have no use for a store credit. I placed an order for pre cut tail light tint for my 2022 ***** pilot se on 6/12/22. I received the product and before applying I thought they looked small, but I know that these types of vinyls can stretch when heated. When reviewing their instructions, at no point does it say to heat the vinyl to be able to stretch it, it says to clean the tail lights, then spray both the vinyl and taillight with prep spray. Once you do this, it's impossible to be able to stretch the vinyl while applying or heating. I just tried applying 2 small parts of my taillights, and of course, it did not stretch enough or cover the entire tail lights like it should. I reached out to Rvinyl at which they said they " Thank you for your patience. my supervisor has reviewed the case, but I am sorry we are unable to issue a refund on this order. The film is made to be heat stretched. We offer discount replacements her for install issues." I still have the major portion of the decals that were unused and wanted a refund and I would send the decals back. I wrote them back and said that the vinyl would not stretch enough to cover my taillight and they never responded again. I had previously placed an order 2 years ago with the same company, spoke with ***** on the chat option and she told me what option to choose for the specific car I had, and when it arrived, it was the incorrect vinyl. They also refused to provide a refund after calling and speaking with someone and sending an email. They just quit answering. I would like refunded my most recent money, as they clearly do not provide clear instructions, nor do they provide quality products.Business Response

I ordered interior plastic trim kit for $200 from r-vinyl, for my 2006 ****** Altima SER. I told 5 employees it was for the model SER. They specifically sent me the link to the correct merchandise. I made sure it was selected to my model car, prior to ordering it. When it arrive it was flimsy wrap, and for the wrong car. I have called and emailed a rediculous amount of times with no acknowledgment or responce. The company is a scam artist and needs to be shut down or learn how to operate.
