On 11/11/2021 I purchased a six year policy in the amount of $2150.00. It was to be valid until 11/11/2027. I can supply you with a copy of the contract if necessary. Since acquiring this policy, their service has gone from bad to worse. Today, I tried to call them regarding a repair for my oven. I called both their service number and the person who sold me the policy, both were out of service. I tried to call the corporate office and a different entity has that number. Their website is inactive. Over the years, they have reimbursed me about $850.00, but I have spent that much of my own money taking care of my own repairs, as they were slow and difficult to deal with. I would like them to refund my money. I can supply copies of some of my interactions with them.Initial Complaint

I bought the Warranty policy from them on 8/21/2021 which was to end on 8/21/2027. It was a 6 year warranty, to repair anything covered under the policy. I spoke to the gentleman who set me up with this as I am originally from ********* and a Home Warranty policy would come in useful not knowing everything about the house. I did use it 3 times, all I had to do was call the number and tell them what my problem was. They sent me an email of the repair company I was to use and set up an appointment. I paid the repairman $40.00 for them to come to my place and fix the problem. I liked this! Now for the last 2 months I've been trying to get in touch with them, no answer. I've been trying and trying to call. Nothing. Went on the internet to try to get in touch, they are'nt even on there anymore. Then I stumbled on these complaints about this company and decided to ncontact you. All I have is the original email from them welcoming me and showing my policy number, the term and the price I paid. I purchased a warranty with this company and I tried to file a claimthey accepted them but never followed through. I researched the company to find out that they are out of business. On November 24, 2021, a salesperson and representative from the company with the name of ************************* sold me on a home warranty agreement. He promised me that the company will either repair or replace broken appliances. Furthermore, he assured me that if at any point, I was dissatisfied with the service, I can cancel anytime and they will prorate the refund. So I purchased a two year home care warranty for three of my apartments. On Dec 10, 2021, I purchased one more service agreement for my mother's apartment. A total of $1,800.01 for four units or $450/unit. I am not even sure why they charged me an extra *****. When I asked the representative for a contract,he said that the company doesnt provide anything-I will just need to go to the companys website to see what they cover!I filed my first claim with them in January 2022-I paid for their contractor to come out and the contractor advised that I needed a new washer and dryer. I contacted home warranty and they said that they are going to send me a $275 check for a new washer and dryer. As of today-and 8 months later, I have not received it. I filed another claimand same thing, I paid for their contractor to come out. I was told I need a new appliance. I contacted home care warranty, and they said that they are going to send me $150 check for the dishwasher. As of today, I have not received it. I contacted them regarding an outlet claim-same thing. They told me that they will send me $150 for my outlet claim. As of today, I have not received it either. I have been calling them since January of this year about all these checks they have promised me, and they never have an answer for me. The manager keeps telling me to call back. She keeps saying "at the end of the month, we will process it." I have been calling them since January and they have been toying with me.Additionally, I have filed a claim reimbursement for a total of $1,105.00. I have followed their instructions to have my contractor call them for pre-authorization and complete the claim form. My contractor and I have been trying to get a hold of them for hours on the phone, but to no avail. I have all of this documented, including a phone log of all this wasted time I called them.When I called to cancel-I got nowhere as they put me on hold for over four hours. When I finally reached a representative, she informed me that I will not get my money back-not even a prorated amount.Please note that I have supporting documents to everything I have noted and I am happy to share them with the court.*When I have reported them to the BBB, I saw that many consumers like me have filed a consumer complaint with the BBB regarding the same exact issues: the company promising them to repair/replace appliances but never does; the company will promise them checks in return, but never delivers on its promises. THIS COMPANY RESPONDED TO BBB STATING THAT IT WAS GOING TO ISSUE ME A REFUND-AND IT DIDN'T!! ***** Honestly, I am appalled that this fraudulent company continues to con people and that the state attorney haven't stopped them yet.***********Initial Complaint

On 5/16/2021, I purchased a 3.5 year warranty for my home in *******, ** for $1,140.00. Every time I had an issue that needed to be repaired through this warranty company, it was like pulling teeth. They would give me the run around and tell me that nothing was covered, even though it was clearly stated in the service agreement that it was covered. I then had the ** compressor that went bad on me, and they said that it was not covered. Again, it was covered as per the service agreement. I winded up having to pay an outside company $2,100.00 for an item that should have been covered by the warranty company. I then recently tried to contact them for a garbage disposal replacement since the one I had broke down. I tried calling them and all I got was a busy signal. I then find out that they are out of business?? I had to pay $300.00 for a new installed garbage disposal. Again, something that should have been covered by my warranty company that I paid for! What a waste of money. I never received any benefit from them, and it winded up costing me dearly. This company should reimburse everyone as well as being prosecuted for their criminal activity of running off with everyone's money and never making any repairs.Initial Complaint

I purchased a home warranty service agreement from complete care in November 22, 2021. I paid a total of $1800.00 for the service which doesn't expire until 11/22/2027. I used the service one time in January 2022. I had no problem during that service call. This year 2023 I needed to replace the hot water heater and when I tried calling for service the number is no longer working. I attemptedtotry toget an email,or customerservice number, all to no avail. I don't know if they are still in business or not. I feel I have been taken advantage of by this company. I need to get a refund on the fee so I can get a replacement warranty plan. Being on a fixed income makes it a hardship.
