Subject: Appeal for Shop Reopening and Investigation Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a complaint against Etsy regarding the unexpected closure of my Etsy shop, *********. I have been selling on Etsy for nearly three years and have always adhered to the platform's policies and ************* mentioned in my previous appeal to Etsy, the closure has had a significant negative impact on my business. Company name Etsy 15/09/2024 Hello my name is ****** I open an Etsy store account around 3 weeks ago, But today on the 15/09/2024 I checked my account and it was suspended with out any notice, we didn't receive any email notification about any issue, I am very confuse I don't know what is happening, I was doing everything according to Etsy polices, I tried to get help from Etsy and I fill out an appeal, within less than an hour I received and email telling me that "your appeal has been denied" without any explanation why, I have not violated any policies in my Elylittleshop shop. My Etsy shop is the most important thing to me at the moment, and I would never do anything to harm it. I am eager to know what I can do to restore my shop as soon as possible. I am writing to appeal the suspension of my Etsy account. I recently received notification that my account has been suspended, but I was not provided with a clear explanation for the suspension. I understand that Etsy takes the integrity of its marketplace seriously, and I am committed to ensuring that I am operating within the guidelines set out by Etsy I tried completing a purchase when my transaction was declined, even though all my banking and information were correct. Turns out my account was suspended for no apparent reason. I made an appeal, but my appeal got denied and my account was deemed not qualified for reinstatement and was permanently banned. I made a few purchases a couple of days ago and it worked out perfectly fine but now it's not working and I was suspended. I was just hoping I could get my account back, so I can continue to shop on Etsy. My Etsy store, *******************, was wrongfully banned due to alleged violations of Etsy's Creativity Standards. I've been a member of etsy since 2023, i started my shop in nov ********************************** july 2024, I had made hard work in posting my listing and made sure I don't violate any of their rules. Unfortunately after a 2nd attempt from someone to buy in my shop it suddenly got suspended and I tried appealing to them but they mentioned they will not reinstate without proper explanation of which policy I violated. I have started business at etsy at May, 21th 2024. My business is focused on creating digital product with wedding theme.Before my account was permanently suspended, I have launched 20 lists of wedding video template that create using canva and also can shared using canva template link. All asset that I used to create that products are from ***** itself that can use for commercial (expect if I just resell that asset without do any modification, and I don't do that).My account had suspended since September, 6th 2024 and also have tried to do file appeal. But my appeal was denied and I can't re-appeal again (it's mean my account is officially permanent suspended my Etsy) without say the exact reason on why my account was suspended. They just say that my account was violated their term of use *****************************************************. I am a seller who has been repeatedly targeted and discriminated against by Etsy. This is the third time I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) due to Etsys chronic targeting of my personal designs. I create original designs using a combination of AI and additional elements for print-on-demand placement on new products that I produce. Despite my efforts, Etsy continues to remove my designs and threaten to suspend my shop and close me down. I have worked extremely hard, putting in long hours to build my business, and I have paid significant fees to Etsy. However, their inability to provide satisfactory seller support and address my concerns has left me frustrated. Instead of receiving meaningful responses, I am sent generic emails that do not address my specific issues. Today, I received an email praising my performance, but just five minutes later, I was notified that all of my badges, which I worked so hard to earn, were removed, and I was once again suspended.I have sent several emails and communicated with Etsys support team regarding my AI-generated designs created using Kittl prompts. There has been no infringement, and I have not violated any of Etsys policies. Despite this, I spent over two hours on the phone and in chat with customer support, only to receive conflicting answers. Etsys representatives seem to lack knowledge about print-on-demand (POD), with some falsely claiming that my items were resold and not new. They even claimed Etsy no longer supports POD, which is untrue. As a result, they refused to reinstate my listings.This situation is not newI experienced similar issues in July and on previous occasions with my original designs. Recently, within 60 seconds of posting three handbag listings featuring my designs, they were taken down. Did anyone even review them properly? This complaint is about Etsy suspending my account. They suspended it on July 23, 2024. They sent an email with no explanation, just said policy violations. They gave us no indication, explanation or recourse as how to fix the issue. I have appealed 3 times and still no explanation. The last appeal was not even responded to at all after waiting another 2 weeks for their response.The Shop name is JIMCO Woodworks and the shop id is ****************************************************** Prior to this suspension they had suspended it and then the next day sent an email saying that it was a mistake, during that time they cancelled and refunded the customers that were in progress. When it got reinstated they said that I had better watch out because I had too many cancelled orders. The next week they suspended it again and here I am.I have gone through my account and can not find anything wrong. The only thing is that my wife had an account that got suspended (she is also filing a complaint) she also got no answer or indication of what any problem was. She went through hers and fixed anything that she thought might be wrong but still no answer from etsy. I really appreciate anything that you can do for me and my wife. On Sept 11, 2024, at 7:01 PM, I received an email from Etsy's ************** team. who permanently suspended my account for violating *********************** Terms of Use. Etsy says: Violations may include but are not limited to, 1. Items listed for sale dont meet our handmade, vintage, or craft supply policies; 2. Items violate Etsys Prohibited Items Policy; 3. Shop violates Etsy's Intellectual Property Policy; the account owners information is inconsistent, incorrect, or is closely associated with an account previously suspended by Etsy. You cant sell or shop on Etsy anymore using this account or any other account you create. Just a vague list of reasons for NO SPECIFIC VIOLATION, causing me significant financial hardship.Sep 11, 2024, 8:23PM EDT Appeal filed: I am really new to working my Esty business. My account was suspended without clear understanding as to what policy I am in violation of; how am I supposed to know what I did wrong?
