I opted to try a debt relief program with Atlas Debt Relief and Global holdings LLC. They haven’t done anything to settle the debts as discussed. i have repeatedly attempted to contact the customer service/support line but the office is closed during their normal business hours as listed. I have attempted to angel my program after the first month and they continue to withdraw money from my bank account. With no resolution to the debt relief program. They are taking money that I don’t want them to have because they haven’t made any attempts to settle any debts as discussed.

I signed for what I thought was a debt consolidation loan yet to find out it’s a program and a scam. They gave me false numbers to call people whenever I need anything. The nunber don’t work go straight to voicemail. You go to there website to contact them and it goes to voicemail always stating they are closed. I just want to cancel everything and move on this was such a huge mistake.and a scam

I signed a contract for Debt relief. The contract states at any time I can opt out and they need 5 days lead time to not take funds from your bank account for the monthly fee. Every phone number I try is either a non working number or it automatically disconnects me. I have emailed and texted the person who said she would be available for any assistance.

I am in worse shape now than when I started this program! Companies like Atlas Debt Relief should not be able to get away with preying on seniors, especially 100% disabled Veterans. I entered into an agreement with Atlas Debt Relief on November 18th, 2022. See attachment. The agreement was for Atlas to settle 14 of my accounts, including Regional Acceptance Co. for $11,147 at 25% interest. Atlas stated that per the terms of the agreement, no fees would be paid until the debt was settled. However, this is not true. Atlas told me that because I was such a dedicated customer, who paid on time, I would be a perfect candidate to apply for a ******* loan. See attached. The ******* loan was for $34,159.44 with a 19.99% interest fee, this included Atlas's fee of $11,147., $21,429.00 plus miscellaneous fees to pay off my remaining debt totaling $34,159.44. Atlas gets paid early on ESTIMATED FEES before the debts are any near to being settled by me getting the ******* Loan. In September of 2023, I spoke to Atlas rep, Luke J, about contacting Regional Acceptance Co. I gave Luke J, approval to speak to Regional Acceptance Co. and Regional Co. approval to talk to Luke J. Regional Acceptance Co. explained to Luke J, that my debt was charged off and a 1099 had to be completed. Luke J, told me that it should not be a problem to take the Regional Acceptance Co., debt off of my account since Atlas did not do any work regarding that debt. Luke J said he had to get his supervisor to sign off on it. Luke J called back apologizing for telling me that “it wasn't going to be a problem” because his supervisor did not approve of removing the debt from the program, he then stated that the conversation between myself, Luke J, and Regional Acceptance Co., was the settlement. “I was in disbelief”, Luke J replied “I know, I know", and that he was starting to record my acceptance of the Regional Acceptance Co. agreement. Regional is the largest debt, Where's the money?

We acknowledge the customer's complaint and concerns. Ms. ******** had 14 enrolled debts with 12 debts being settled, one debt receiving a 1099c and one debt was removed from the program.  We pride ourselves on providing superior customer service to build long-lasting relationships with all
current and potential customers. It is unfortunate that your experience with us did not meet your level of satisfaction. With that in mind, we appreciate the time you provided us to listen and respond to your concerns.

Atlas debt relief stated they would help me get my finances back together. I had a high credit score with zero missed payments in over 5. Years. They told me I pretty much would never get out of debt and end up paying a fortune. Atlas told me if signed up with them, they would save me money and charge a small fee. In the end, they put me in even more debt with a low credit score that I cant even refinance my house if I wanted to. I settled two debts on my own without them. The program doesn’t give you any updates on what they have done for you. I ended up getting sued. I signed up for the ******** with atlas, they are the ones that came to an agreement with the company suing me. I asked before i was sued, do you think I ahould get a loan from my 401k and pay off my debt? They told me no, they will be able to settle for a lower amount and then we could tank then. They never contacted them. ******** got ******* **** to settle for 26900. I then stated if I pull out of my 401k i could pay them off. They stated no, they like to see monthly payments. Then i found out Atlas charges for each time a payment goes out. I stated i would just pay them directly in full. They stated they didnt like that again… I contacted ******** lawyers and they stated thG was ridiculous. Atlas the. Stated they were going to charge me 500 for each payment they were going to send out. I told them it was paid already, and they stated it doesnt matter i still owe them 9000 for the work ******* did. I was paykng 20 dollars a month for ********* service, but they want 900 for something i could have did myself. They ruined my life and stole my money. My credit is ruined, they kept my 2500 that was deposited in my global account to so called settle debts. They lied and said chase worked with debt settlement companies. I just want my money back since they ruined my life even more. I want them to take the 20 dollars for each month i paid for ******** . There is more but it can’t fit all they have done.

There have been several attempts made to contact the consumer on July 17th and July 20th and issue a refund for duplicative payment. However, the consumer has been unreachable and has not returned any communication. We look forward to issuing a refund of the duplicative payment as soon as the consumer has made contact with the Client Support team.
