I received an Email on 9/17/2023 from consumergadgetsdepot.com. It was a purchase receipt for a product costing 5.95. I immediately E-mailed them back on 9/17/23 telling them I do not authorize them or any of their affiliates to withdraw money from my account. I never received a reply and 5.95 was withdrawn from my account by a company called ****** ****** ********. I once again E-mailed them on 9/2023 since I had no contact information, saying that I do not give them or any of their affiliates permission to take money from my bank account. I called the phone number listed on my bank statement for the merchant that took the money. I was not able to communicate my problem to the person who answered at that phone number. She kept telling me I would have to contact the seller but couldn’t provide me a contact name or number. Furthermore, she had a thick accent and was very difficult to understand. On 9/22/23, once again a withdraw from my account in the amount of 79.95 occurred from the same company, ****** ****** ********. I did not order anything from either of these companies and did not give permission for them to take money from my bank account. This is criminal and needs to be stopped.

I was duped into believing I was awarded a free ****** drill set by agreeing to pay shipping charges of $7.95. Two days later I received a bill for $79.95 for a subscription that I was not advised I was signing up for. I alerted my credit card company and I called Consumer Gadgets Direct upon receipt of the bill and cancelled my "supposed" subscription. I will track this to ensure the subscription was in fact cancelled.

After what I thought was a very nicely resolved situation, I was wrongfully charged $79.95 for a subscription that was cancelled and my account deleted! All this according to the service agent I spoke to and reminded me that my phone conversation was being recorded when I agreed to the 50% back on a $29.95 purchase - smart watch and to take no further action. Well since this company went against their word, unless the $79.95 is refunded immediately to the credit card I used, I will be posting a complaint to the BBB and informing my attorney. Your immediate action of refunding the charge of $79.95 to my account is demanded. ******* ****

On 09/10/2023 I ordered what I believed to be a set of ******* cookware for 7.95 endorsed by ****** ******. After some thought I decided to investigate the company and began seeing on line complaints about how they steal people's money. I called the phone number************* and told the "representative not to put unauthorized charges on my debit card. She told me I couldn't be found in there system and the only way to locate me was to provide the last 4 digits of my card number, plus a few from the beginning. I told them how absurd that was. I have a name address and order number in an email they sent me. To make a long story short, they charged my card $79.95 on 9/13/23. I called back only to speak with another fraudster, asking for my card number again. These people need to be stopped. I also have NY bank statement where the I initial 7.95 was charged and also the 79.95.
