      This company is a giant scam. I bought 2 coins. Took 2 weeks to get them. When I opened it up, there is an invoice for almost $31. My coins were $5 total, already paid online. It says I have 21 days to send my payment back to them for extra coins I don’t even have. I logged onto the website and they saved my credit card information without my permission. So I’m assuming they planned on charging my card without telling me. This company seems to do a lot of fraudulent things. They like to continuously charge people for things they didn’t even send. Reading the reviews it looks like they love to send people to collections as well. So I’m assuming I will be sent to collections for $30 worth of coins that I didn’t order and didn’t receive. I don’t understand how a scam can still be in operation. I will continue to check my credit and make sure it doesn’t go to collections and if it does, I will fight it. I hope this company shuts down. I hope no one else ever orders from them and gets scammed.

      I have reviewed your complaint regarding coins sent to you "on approval" from Mystic Stamp Company.  In the advertisement you responded to, it was mentioned other coins would be sent to you "on approval."  In the package we sent there was a postage-paid envelope to make it easy and free for you to return those "on approval" coins.

      If you still have that envelope, we'd appreciate getting those coins back.  If you don't, no worries - keep the coins and consider it a gift you are not obligated to return.

      Your account has not been sent to collections and there is not an amount due.

      I ordered a free catalog and the company sent stamps along with an invoice for me to pay if I want to keep the stamps. I didn’t ask for stamps so not sure why I am being invoiced.

      I just receive a collection agency letter for stamps I did not want or ask for. I'm NOT paying for them. You are a fraud. I never asked for these stamps. You don't give somebody a gift and expect them to pay for it. That's WRONG. I want my name removed from your mailing list and the collection agency. Right away. *******

      I have mail dated 10/26/23 from Mystic Stamp Company billing me for $31.35 for "Selection Sent: 04/13/23", although I had not ordered from them. While I contacted the company to inform them of that, and to request they take me off their mailing list, I believe complaining to BBB is also a necessary course of action.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  [At this time I do want to inform BBB that I accept the company recognizes I do not owe them anything. I also want to inform BBB that after sorting threw junk mail, I was able to go to **** in ***** zip code recently and return mail to Mystic Stamp Company some unopened mail I received from them. I hope this solves their problem. The amount of mail received since last spring was overwhelming for me. While I only recall ordering from them once, they mention two orders. While there is a possibility this is true, I know I did not place three orders. Finally, it does seem unfair that I ordered once or twice, paid and that will only leave my credit score unaffected rather than positively affected.]  Best regards,  ******* ********

      Hi, I was getting stamps from this company over 2 years ago. Then my mother died after I had been taking care of her for last 10 years. It happened during covid and I was left to try to save my home. I contacted this company by phone n email many times. I told them my situation and said stop sending me anything, I can't afford it anymore. I paid everything off that I received. They kept sending things n I kept telling them to stop. For the next 2+ years they have harassed me n even sent thing to collections. I owe them nothing n as we speak today I just got another letter from them. I'm at my wit's end n hope you can help me with this.

      I contacted mystic on selling a $1200 stamp collection then a $2000 collection cause I added to what I wanted to be bought. I sent 10 photos as requested and was emailed to hear mystic would pay 40,% for the $2000 collection. I agree mailed collection off to Camden. I waited the usual month I'm guessing it's the norm and was emailed offer of $340 for the $2000 collection. Or it might've been for the $1200 cause I emailed twice. I sent one email excepting and one email to back out pretty close together in time. I hope this spells out my event proper.

      Routine Weasel Sales Strategy does NOT an A+ Rating Make (in my opinion) Received an offer to buy mixed vintage postage stamps for $7.95 plus free shipping. Bought. Later I was charged $29.95 for other stamps that were sent without my knowledge of either the stamps or charges. Mystic customer service directed my attention to the 3rd sentence on the left side of the ordered offer (NOT the side that gives the fees and order) that reads "I'll also receive other stamps with no obligation to buy." This sentence was under a section that had a pre-checked "Yes!" box. She said I could send them back but there is no way I could identify these "no obligation" stamps at this point. This sales strategy is tricky, a weasel job -- probably a significant percentage of others miss this too.

      3/30/23 I ordered a Free stamp catalog and was sent the catalog plus stamps with a bill for $29.20 for stamps that I DID NOT ORDER. I will be sending these back and wish to be taken off their mailing list. This stinks on ice as a total scam!!

      This company does not allow opt-out of marketing materials. I have been attempting to get removed from their mailing lists for over a year now and somehow they even found me at a new address that I did not update with them.
