My Wife and I went to the Harrisburg RV show. There we put in paperwork to buy an rv, trading our current one in, with the notion we would be using a family members truck to pick up the unit due to its weight. Unfortunately that changed in a matter of a 24 hour due to unexpected events and when we called to apologize and have the bank loan application pulled they told us there was nothing they could do and everything was sent in. We have not and are not taking delivery of the pending trailer so the deal is not done. I call the bank this morning as it would have been through the same lender and they assured me that the only loan they show is my current trailer and to just have the dealership pull the application and there would be no issue. Now the dealership team is not answering my calls. I call the office once and left a message and I also call one of the finance people that was at the show who's work cell number I have twice and left two voice mails detailing what the bank stated. I also sent him at text detailing what they said and that I had previously call him twice. I feel they are stonewalling waiting to get the bank loan though to screw me over. Until this lack of interaction this morning I was planning on possible using them for a smaller unit that would better suit us but not anymore.Initial Complaint

On August 3, 2024, we paid $1000 down on a new 2023 ******* **** camper. The camper was, at that point, located in Pittsburgh, PA, and the salesman, Kevin L***, assured us that the $1000 would be refunded when we saw the camper, if, for any reason, we didn't want it. August 20, 2024 -- Meyers RV in Clifton Park notified us that the camper was ready for our inspection. As we looked over the camper, the Meyer's person told us to make a list of things we found that needed attention. We found 1) the slide-out halfway out, 2) the inside trim over the slide-out hanging loose, 3) a loose gasket on the interior of the slide-out, 4) a rear window valance hanging off its bracket, 5) the slide-out window screens were loose, 6) the slide-out would not operate at all, and 7) there was no sewer hose. We were told there was no reason to repair any of these things before the unit was purchased, even though we were told that the unit was "ready" for our Demo. In spite of our misgivings, we proceeded with the purchase, paying them a total of $106,397.89, understanding that all items would be fixed and the camper put in "NEW" condition. [Part of the total was a paint protection contract ($2223) and a vehicle service agreement ($4817) ] We paid for RV insurance with our own agent, starting on 9/3/24. Total for 12 months, $898.00 The repair of the slide-out would take 4-6 weeks, therefore, no camping this fall. Our next appointment for a Demo was on October 31. This time we found 1) the slide would not go in or out 2) a non-working, very noisy AC unit 3) the spare tire was missing 4) the **** cover had water damage and needed to be replaced 5) a closet handle hanging by one screw 6) inaccessible tire valve stems In total dismay, we told the Greg, the sales tech, that we wanted to get out of this purchase. They tried, TWICE, to resolve these issues and not only were they not resolved, we found More Things Wrong. (See Addendum A)Initial Complaint

Extremely disappointed!!! We bought RV 3 months ago, the ‘’***** ********’’ and the registration is not completed. Our registration is now expired and guess what, we called Meyers RV to figure out what is going on after 90 days!!!! I spoke to the title clerk, Carrie M*****, and she said there is not much she can do because the issue was out of her hands and she currently have 7 titles that needed registration under ***** ******** that the PAA- pennsylvania auto association did not complete yet. We were given a name Don B***** to call and see whats going on with the title and he mentioned, this new series was supposed to be license in PA months ago when they got the new unit before they even sell it!!!!! Now he told us it takes a long time.. maybe another 6months to get it licensed. Are you serious right now???? So basically, they are selling this new RV without getting coded and licensed in PA! Now all these people who bought the same ***** ******** We are all stuck waiting for our vehicle registration and God knows when its going to be done? 3 Things!!!! They should not be selling this camper until someone fix the issue! Second, we paid you to get it registered now this title clerk Carrie M***** told me she can send it off to PAA and get it off her hands and now its my problem to figure it out??? Are you serious ???? Lastly, I called the manager, Rick in Harrisburg location and it sounds like they will continue to sell this RV!!!!!! Someone has to do something for all these 7 units and 7 families who’s waiting for their registration papers!!!!! And STOP selling this RV if you cant fix it!!!! BAD BUSINESS and EXTREMELY EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!Initial Complaint

We bought an RV in August. We took it on one trip in the middle of August to New Hampshire about a three hour trip from us on the way the Motorhome had an awful odor. They’ve had it ever since and haven’t done anything with it. It’s just still sitting there. You can’t get anybody to answer or call you back. When we first bought it there was a list of things that needed to be fixed on it when we went back three weeks later nothing had been completed. Before we bought it the sales person contacted us multiple times daily and now you can’t get in touch with anyone to help you. We were told the RV was going to be taken to an independent place that checks everything to make sure it’s working fine. Everything was not working fine and the black tank water was half full. This company will lie to you if you can get them to answer and tell you they are going to fix it or take it to a **** dealership, but they have done none of the above.Initial Complaint

I purchased a new RV and had it delivered in on April 26th. I notified the Meyers that day that there was a tear in the bed room flooring that needed to be replaced. I have been trying unsuccessfully since that time to have the flooring replaced. I have and spoken to the service manager at least a dozen times and continue to get the run around that they need more pictures ( I have sent them to them twice). They said they are working with there other Meyers location that is closer to my campground. They are looking into it. In addition I had a leak in one of the slide outs about a month ago that I am still waiting to get fixed with no indication from them as to when that will happen. I also had a leaking water line under my bathroom sink that they did fix, but the leak caused water damage to the interior and the technician took photos of that to be addressed and I have also heard nothing back about that repair.Initial Complaint

On 13 September 2023. I made arrangements to purchase. An RV. From Myers RV Superstore. At ********* ******* ** show in Hershey, PA. The sale would be completed on the delivery of my RV that was in the shop at the time. To their office in Syracuse, NY. I explained to them that my RV had been in the shop for a year and I had no promise of when I would be getting it back. Salesman. His name was Alex. Said no problem. An agreement was made. The service contract was on the agreement. Plus a down payment. That comes to a total of $5301.78. Approximately 2 weeks ago, at the beginning of August. I finally got my RV back from the shop. I called Myers RV. To arrange a pickup time for the new trailer. I was told they had voided the sale. And there was nothing to worry about. I asked them about my deposits. And they said the best they could do was get me a prorated return on the service contract. And the other part would be given to me. Towards the purchase of another trailer. I don't see why the Service plan should have been prorated, When the trailer was new IT should have had a one-year warranty on it. And I haven't received the trailer yet, so why should the service contract have started? They have told me they're going to give me. $2400 of the original 3000 for the service contract. Because of the prorating. And the additional money would be used towards the purchase of another RV, which I'm not going to do. Of today, Wednesday 21 August 2024. I have not received any money from them.Customer Answer

Purchased a 2013 ****** ******* ** on June 17, 2024 paid $84,047.62. I paid them to do the title/registration and they issued me a temporary tag without a temporary registration card. It has been over 2 months and my temporary tags are expired. When I contacted them in regards to my tags nearly 3 weeks ago, they take my name, and number and nobody calls back. Today August 20, I contacted them again, left name and number. This has been ongoing for 3 weeks! I asked about another temporary and was told they can't issue another one. I am supposed to be in Florida September 1st and I can't even move my rv from my driveway. I have read the business reviews and saw another complaint about this as well. So it is an ongoing issue. I contacted the WV DMV and my Vin is not even in their system so my paperwork has not even been received by the DMV and its been over 2 months.Initial Complaint

We purchased a 2024 ******** travel trailer from Meyer's RV of Albany NY on 04/24/2024. It had several issues that were supposed to be repaired before we took ownership six weeks later. When we picked it up on June 3rd, none of the issues were corrected and in addition, there was a dent in the freezer door that we hadn't noticed before as it was covered with tape. We were told they would start the warranty paperwork as we were leaving NY for Georgia on the 13th. We are in the process of getting the problems fixed under warranty here in Georgia but was told by ******* ***** (who will be doing the repairs) that the freezer door would not be covered as Meyer's said they had not been advised of the damage. I emailed the complaint department at ****** ***** (the parent company of ********) and was told that they had proof that not only was Meyers advised of the dent on June 3rd, the door was approved to be replaced and they received the door on June 28th. While exchanging texts with Mike F******, the GM at Meyer's, he lied to us over and over again, saying that he was "not willing to purchase a door" while he already had the door. Then he told us it was too expensive to ship. We were also told that we had to deal with it because we took the trailer 15 hours away and that it was a "waste" to replace the door for just a dent. In his latest text, he said that he "wouldn't be shipping or paying for anything" as I "threatened" to contact the Better Business Bureau.Initial Complaint

I bought a new RV in May 2024 and my awning broke within 30 days. They warrantied and replaced it only to collapse again a week and a half later. They are now telling me that it will not be covered under warranty because it had to be something I did? So that means they are refusing my 1 year warranty that expires May of 2025! I also have an issue with my refrigerator surging and a leak in the roof! I am completely frustrated and to add to my frustration the girl I talked with told me there are multiple customers with the same issues. I can not afford a new awning and do not understand why it would not fall under my warranty.
