      I am unable to contact this business about resolving a dispute. The company has made claims to not receive payment from me on an account although my bank statements provided by Municipal Credit Union shows the payments being made to them from my account. This is happening after it was claimed that I did not have insurance for my car, which I did. I proved that and my account was ************************. However, my car was reposessed (please remember, I have proof payments were made!) and I cannot contact anyone that is able to assist me in redeeming the auto, I've expressed desire to pay what is being asked even if it is incorrect so I can go to work. However, I keep being passed off when I call if I can get through at all. I simply want factual information on why car was reposessed and more importantly, how to redeem it.

      So my checking account has been frozen/on hold since September 5th and i have not been contacted a single time to explain the details of why it has been put on hold for the nearly 3 weeks now of not being able to access my account or funds. when i try logging in i have been told by the app "Account is on hold. Please contact us to resolve" only for me to be given replies by them when contacted like "i dont have access to those details but i will send an email to the department to call you" only to be left without ANY contact from them still to notify me of information that i legally deserve to know. I'm not gonna be able to pay my upcoming bills on the 1st because of this.

      I have been with teachers federal credit union for Years. I always withdrawal money TO my teachers federal credit union. This one time i withdrawal my money to them, they freeze my account and is now holding my money hostage. I then gave them constant non-stop calls everyday of the week to see whats going on with my account because i have bills to pay and i have direct deposits coming in from my job. Each day that i call them, i hear them telling me the same thing. Ive showed numerous proof and documents that the money was from my other account At *************************** Sach and i were just withdrawing money to my Teachers federal credit union. I Showed proof that the *************************** sach Account was under my ownership also to the Teachers federal credit union. Heres week 2 and i am fed up. I eventually went up to the actual branch to see whats going on. They were so unorganized and NOBODY i mean not even the manager could of helped me because they have to wait one ONE person in the backroom to give a decision. Im so over this bank, i just want to close out my account and get my money mailed or if i can go pick it up in person thats even better but i just need them to stop holding it hostage please help i am begging.

      I leased a ***** Passport but returned it 4 months ago and when I did, ***** paid it off or that was what I was told and I Have a document saying that. Teachers Federal Credit Union is sending me bills in the amount of $367.17 with no explanation as to why. I have called the number that is provided and no one answers but instead, informs me to email them. I have done this but the last response I received was from Fusion who use to be the middle man where I assume my monthly payments went through. They said in an exchange of emails that they are just the messenger and they will alert TFCU that I will not pay. When the transaction regarding ***** taking the lease back n paying it off, my obligation ceased and at that time, I was current with my monthly payments. I was never late because the payments were scheduled to automatically come out of my bank account. The resolution that I would like is that TFCU call ***** which I forwarded the contact information and resolve this dispute. I am no longer involved.I do not have the paid documents proof as I m at work. I am being threatened with reporting a delinquency to my credit and this is not correct.

      My husband and I obtained a vehicle which was financed through Teachers about three years ago. Last year, they repossessed the vehicle after all payments were made on time. We called them and they said it was a mistake that the vehicle was entered in their system by accident but they could not do anything and we had to find a way to drive an hour away to pick the vehicle up. Today, the SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. All payments are in time and we wake up to our vehicle gone because Teachers repossessed our vehicle a second time. As of now, our payments are up to date and the person we spoke to on the phone does not know why it was repossessed. Here we are again without a vehicle to go pick up our vehicle since it is an hour away and no help from them to rectify the situation. This company is always behind in reporting information to the credit bureau as well and every month they wait about 10 days after the payment is on time while reporting it is late, then they change it to paid after this time. Its ridiculous. Theres no accountability for this business and theyve caused me to have my credit drop and the aggravation of TWO repossessions for their mistakes when it should have never happened to begin with. This is the worst *********** Ive ever used.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      Account was NOT resolved. I had to pay to get my car back, drive an hour and a half, and pay what they system did not update in order for it to show current even though it was paid through their app and was current. As of a couple days ago it is still on my credit report as being past due. It is not. This is not a resolution.

      This bank is a fraudulent bank opening accounts for people in their name without even asking or applying. I have seen numerous people make this same claim and no one is doing anything about this fraudulent activity. I am also a victim of identity theft; they have stolen my information and opened an account in my name for $1. They, then file a lawsuit against me in that same name and I don't even know who the heck they are. This fraud needs to stop! This is security fraud, and the SEC needs to look into this instead of sleeping with them!

      On March 5, 2023, my credit unexpectedly dropped 28 points and after further investigating, I learned it was because TFC made an error in reporting to the credit bureaus and reported the wrong balance. TFC first denied that there was an error and referred me to Fusion Auto Finance who also denied responsibility. Ultimately after several calls, TFC acknowledged their error and my score was repaired in 5 days. Again on May 2, 2023 my credit score dropped ***************************************************************************************************** March 2023 incorrect reporting to the credit bureau. It is now May 20, 2023 and my score has still not been repaired.TFC now says I should not expect to see a credit score repair until at least June 8th or 30 days after the error was corrected. Im not clear why the last error was addressed in 5 days while this same error will take 30 days. This is unacceptable. I am in the process of purchasing a car as my current lease is coming to a close, and my score is 33 points lower than it should be subsequently impacting my ability to qualify for the best APR rate. How the same major mistake happens twice within 90 days is unclear to me and I would expect more accountability from the credit union.I am sharing this widely to warn others to avoid engaging in business with this credit union.

      I leased a car through Jeep, Dodge Chrysler in ******* and they forced me to use Teachers Federal Credit Union. Within the past 6 months, the credit union has continuously been changing my loan amount. I l have reached out to the credit union and they are refusing to explain to me why they keep running unauthorized credit inquiries and changing my loan amount without my authorization. I spoke with ***** (would not give me a last name or employee id) of the ** call center. ***** said he was the only ***** at the company. ***** stated that his supervisor ***** (no employee ID or last name, only ***** supposedly) said he was not authorized to inform me why it keeps happening. ***** stated his other supervisor ****** (no last name, only ******) stated the same thing. This company is running numerous inquiry checks and changing my loan amounts without my authorization and no explanation why it has happened twice already.

      There is something internally wrong with the collections department Im getting calls every week about them not receiving payment. This has been going off/on for a few years now. I will make a compliant to the attorney generals office next and from here on out I will start recording the calls I have with the collectors so they can see how they sound and treat their customers. Ive been a customer since 2019 and I get nowhere with making complaints, to them they dont want to admit or accept fault. Today on 5-3-23 I received an email from a collector by the name of ********** (who only sent me an email did not even call me, but requested I call him? What type of **** **** is this? not even one week later they come calling me after I spoke with ******************* week from their collections department advised him I will mail payment. ********** called I told him I just mailed the payment on Sunday you need to give it time, he threatened I was jeopardy now. I told him I made another payment via their website he argued had an attitude and was over talking me, I told him and put him in check he was not going to talk like that to me, he said I would not be calling if we did not receive a payment the problem is their collections department does not research or review payments being made by website first (I told him I even had a confirmation number for payment, he stated he could not look that up) before they contact you. Is that how TFCU allow their collections department to talk to customers? Because if it is I will complain elsewhere to someone who does have more authority than what they can do? Your representative ********** needs to be terminated for even having that sort of attitude with a customer. This is not the first time theyve done this neither every collections rep is highly unprofessional and the management team knows it and they dont listen! They have a group extension for the collections department which every time I call no one answers that line. See the two attachments.
