      There is something internally wrong with the collections department Im getting calls every week about them not receiving payment. This has been going off/on for a few years now. I will make a compliant to the attorney generals office next and from here on out I will start recording the calls I have with the collectors so they can see how they sound and treat their customers. Ive been a customer since 2019 and I get nowhere with making complaints, to them they dont want to admit or accept fault. Today on 5-3-23 I received an email from a collector by the name of ********** (who only sent me an email did not even call me, but requested I call him? What type of **** **** is this? not even one week later they come calling me after I spoke with ******************* week from their collections department advised him I will mail payment. ********** called I told him I just mailed the payment on Sunday you need to give it time, he threatened I was jeopardy now. I told him I made another payment via their website he argued had an attitude and was over talking me, I told him and put him in check he was not going to talk like that to me, he said I would not be calling if we did not receive a payment the problem is their collections department does not research or review payments being made by website first (I told him I even had a confirmation number for payment, he stated he could not look that up) before they contact you. Is that how TFCU allow their collections department to talk to customers? Because if it is I will complain elsewhere to someone who does have more authority than what they can do? Your representative ********** needs to be terminated for even having that sort of attitude with a customer. This is not the first time theyve done this neither every collections rep is highly unprofessional and the management team knows it and they dont listen! They have a group extension for the collections department which every time I call no one answers that line. See the two attachments.

      On January 9, 2023, I went to branch in *********, **. My plan was to close 2 CDs in order to resubmit them at a different term. At that time, I asked if I could do a third one that was recently renewed on December 14, 2022 and add it to one of the other ones I was closing to combine them. I said to the agent that since it was just renewed, penalty would be the 3 week or so interest that I would lose. He didn't confirm or deny that. So, I went ahead with that.Now, I received my statement, I have been charged over $600 for this CD of that short time. I would have never done this if I knew that. I was expecting maybe the interest it gained about $25. It's not that the money ever left the bank. It was not going to be renewed interest, it just cost me over $600 to add it to the other new account.

      I signed a rate lock agreement for a mortgage that expires 5/21/23. I subsequently signed a commitment letter that was countersigned by TFCU on 4/10/23. The following day TFCU tried to get me to sign an amendment increasing the interest rate I locked in by .25% and they are not honoring the agreement we signed. I was told that this is because I am buying in a co op, however, they knew the address and the building I was buying in prior to executing the rate lock and prior to executing the commitment letter.I am seeking to find a resolution that will get TFCU to honor our agreement and would not advise that anyone uses them for a mortgage until this issue is resolved. This is incredibly disappointing.

      ****** had came on the line from the loan department /customer service department when I had spoke to a representative previously who informed me they would get a manager on the line instead the representative put me back in queue instead of on hold. ****** who came on the line 2-27-23 at 6:00pm refused to get a manager on the line. Since July of 2023 theyve been sending my mail to the wrong address and Ive informed them several times, they make up lies and say the mail is returned from the mailing address because theyd rather send it to a physical address. ****** after she saw I was frustrated refused to put a manager on the phone and then proceeded to hang up on me.

      On February 17th 2023, I made an internal transfer of funds in the amount of $200 to my daughter's account. These funds were transferred in error and should have gone to my other daughters's account. When I advised my daughter of the situation and asked her to transfer the money back, she told me that she could not transfer the money back to me because the funds were not in her account. Apparently, she has some type of dispute with her account and this credit union as well and they took the money from her account as soon as it was transferred by me. This dispute has nothing to do with me. It is a dispute that is between my daughter and the credit union and I want my money back. The fact that Teachers Federal Credit Union actually stole my money from her account is reprehensible. This is a banking institution, one that I have done business with for over 20 years. This is money that I do not owe them. This is a dispute that they do not have with me. I simply want this money returned. I am a retired individual who is in the process of applying for disability. I just took out a loan from my TDA because I cannot make ends meet. I need this money back. It is a small amount to them but it is not a small amount to me. Please help.Thank you,*************************

      I was contacted by ***************************************** and was told that there was nothing he could do for me. He stated that the original decision stands and that he wanted me to ask my daughter to reach out to him so that he could discuss her dispute with the bank. I told ********************** that my dispute with the bank had nothing to do with the situation between the bank and my daughter and that if he wished to speak to her then he should contact her directly. It appears that I am being punished by this bank because of their dispute with my daughter, which is client of theirs. This has nothing to do with me and I do not owe the bank any money. I ask that my funds be returned to me and they take up any issues that they have with my daughter, with her. They are punishing me, a senior citizen who is disabled. Their dispute is not with me and I really need my money.

      My 2 Teachers FCU CDs matured on 6/23/22 & I didnt want them automatically rolled over into a low yielding CD.About 7/19/22 ************ to give instructions to transfer balances into a Tiered MMA.Early October 2022 I discover the transfer to MMA was never done & my balance has been earning next to nothing in a regular savings account!I start calling customer service ********** & hardly ever can get through (or there are wait times of > 30 min). 11/19/22 I drive out to closest branch open Saturdays (in ***********). Speak with ***********************, tell him the story, he copies my drivers ******************* the paperwork to transfer to MMA. I demand back interest to July 22; says h*** get back to me next business day. Never calls me, never returns my calls or email.More phone calls to customer service go nowhere. About 12/29/22 **************** says the branch has some specific information about my **************** need to speak to someone there (and gave me names *****, ****, and ******) & get back to me. No one ever does.1/5/23 Speak to customer service supervisor ********. I tell her I need back **************** moved to an MMA; says she will look into it & get back to me. I say I need an answer today. ******** calls me back two days later to say she is working on it. Never hear from her again.I discover the money was STILL never put into an MMA! (Statements only come quarterly so it takes time to know about account status.)1/14/23 Go to *********** branch to close my accounts. ****** Manager *************************** convinces me to leave money in account. Shell get back to me next T or W. She calls me on W to say she kicked it upstairs, is waiting & will contact me. Never heard from her again, even though I leave several phone messages for her.1/28/23 Return to *********** branch & close my accounts. More details will be in uploaded documents.

      My car was in an accident last July and it was totaled. Teachers Federal Credit Union which is where I had the loan through. They have made it very difficult when it comes to me, I would ask over and over for help getting all of the documents from Champion Auto Sales, ** which is where I bought the car. I tried so many times to get in touch with Champion Auto Sales with no call back, no email, Teachers Federal Credit Union accepted a settlement check for $15, ******. They are hounding me about owing $913.88 which I do not owe them. Can you please help me out with this? I will never deal with Champion Auto Sales, and Teachers Federal Credit Union. because they both are shady.

      Account #: *********** My mother-in-law is 104 years old. Her CD matured and she requested her money be wired to her bank.They refused to wire the money because she didn't have a picture ID like a driver's license. We then sent a letter signed by her requesting a check be sent to her home. We received an e-mail confirming the receipt of this letter. Now they claim they never received it. I resent the letter and the confirmation and have not heard back from them. My mother-in-law desperately needs this money to pay for her around-the-clock aids. They know this and don't care. They are incompetent and cruel. Most of the agents I spoke to were out and out nasty. Please help us.

      I applied for a promotion to open a new checking account in June. I then received an email congratulating me that my account was "approved and active." the next day however i was not able to log into my account. When I called in I was informed that account "needed to be reviewed" and then the day after that I received another email thanking me "for joining Teachers Federal Credit Union" but i could still not log in. I called back in asked to speak to a manager and i was told a manager would be calling me back in 2-3 days, but that call never came. * days later I received another email saying my account was closed because it had not passed their review. Company is enticing people with promotions and then misleading them on the status of their accounts. Feels alot like bait & switch. Their emails contradict each other, they make false promises, and have terrible customer service support.
