      Bumper llc is a devious predatory company that continues to harass me with there unwanted subscriptions and inability to cancel. I have tried over and over to cancel but the website literally makes it impossible to do so.

      Upon further review, it appears we did not receive a request to cancel prior to the end of the trial. 

      In that event, your account automatically attempted to renew to the monthly subscription.
      When signing up for our background reports, the subscription does outline that it will auto-renew until elected to cancel. 
      You can contact us to cancel at any time, and will not be billed for your next billing cycle.

      Your account is now cancelled, as you requested.

      We're sorry to see you go, but glad you were able to try out our website.

      Bumper has automatically charged my paypal account four months each time at $22.99 totalling $91.96 when I never used their service. I only used the service one time for $1. There was no notice of the subscription which I never singed up for. This is horribly deceptive for the company to set up automatic payments in Paypal with no notification. It is not possible to cancel the Paypal automatic payments and hard to find their information about canceling with Bumper.

      Bumper LLC has charged me two times for a value of *****. This was after I had previously thought I had cancelled my subscription. Upon checking now I found that my subscription had not been cancelled. This is due to the extremely poor website design which intentionally hides the option to cancel your subcription. Which, contrary to general practice is not located alongside your account information or billing information but behind a series of menus which each time prompt you to close them and to not cancel your subscription.

      Bumper LLC uses deceptive billing practices to which they have had Numerous and Extensive complaints against them with the BBB and have a rating of "F" which is accurately deserved.In approximately late April 2024, I used their website to search a VIN for a used Vehicle I was investigating for possibly purchasing. I only chose a 1 time, $5 charge option, but there has been a $24.48 charge every month since that initial 1 time use. Since they required me to use billing through PayPal for the initial one time use, they have automatically billed me using that PayPal connection every since which I did not become aware of until seeing an email from PayPal that I was automatically billed again today and had been for the last three months I never agreed to nor did I sign up for a monthly service! I had no idea I was being charged monthly by this business without my knowledge and have not used their service other than the one time.Upon further investigation I found out that they use this deceptive practice of automatically billing you unless you contact them to stop/cancel an automatic subscription.This is a highly deceptive practice! They even make it very hard to find out how to cancel their automatic subscription and then make it hard to navigate their website to cancel it.This is yet another deceptive practice employed by this company, one consistent with this type of company that draws customers in by what they think is a time time use then automatically bill them thereafter by the use of deceptive practices. I have cancelled my account with them effective today (after great difficulty) using their "contact us" form and informed them of this BBB complaint as well as informed them they need to refund any automatic billing they charged me for that I did not sign up for (deceptive automatic billing) that they billed me $24.48 per month for the last three months totaling $73.44.

      I use this service one time over a year ago and they've been billing me monthly without my permission. I have canceled three credit cards because somehow they seem to find my new credit card numbers when all I order is from Amazon with the new credit cards. I'm filed three fraud charges with my bank against this company.

      Bumper kept charging my account $22.99 each month without me knowing since November. I just checked a VIN number to sell my jeep and just realized they are charing me basically $23 to have an account that why would anyone need to keep and maintain?! This is crazy and exactly what the others are saying in the comments below.

      I tried the 7 day trial for $5.00 it offered. Then Bumper.com charged me $22.99 after the 7 day trial ended* ********** didn't say I would automatically be charged after 7 days. I went back to Bumper.com to remove my payment method, but the website doesn't allow you to remove credit card information. I had to call the bank and request it block the payment and deactivate my card.
