I went to Best Buy and they gave me a credit limit of *****. They also told me there is a ************ if I needed it. They connected my computer. The connection did not work and they came the second time. After some time I found out that the interest is increasing, I asked why and they told me that the promotion time is over I had to pay or increase interest interest. In July the interest I paid was showing $335 in one year. In August's bill they changed the interest and the whole bill was different. amount. They actually changed everything. A couple of times they stated on the telephone that the promotion expired. I asked them to have a record of my payment history Even if I pay $400 today, next month they increase the payment and they send me another changed bill. I do not understand their billing. Now they show a credit limit of $*****, available credit of *****, and a cash advance of 200. I want to make a payment arrangement to close the account they refused. They are a danger to my family. I want to ask them to verify my payment history, and when I signed about the promotion. I am upset. I do not know about accounting but I am a graduate student. I can understand when someone cheats to charge me putting many reasons like promotion is over and changing the original agreement. I am sad lost confidence in this business. My advice to others is that do not fall for promotion which they can manipulate and charge you more. This is immoral, I do not care about his years of service in the business, all I know is that he is hurting my budget and refusing to provide my payment history. I bought only a laser hp printer of type M428f-M429f and a value of probably $ ******* and a **** computer with a market value of not more than $800. Can you please ask him to make a payment arrangement and finish it soon canceling all this gimmickry of credit limit and available credit, after explaining the charges?Business Response

I noticed I had late payments from CITI on my credit report. During these months I did not receive anything stating I was late. As you can see, majority of my payments have been on time so I am requesting the removal of these late payments from my account. I am trying to increase my score to purchase a home and would greatly appreciate if you guys can submit a request to the credit reporting agencies to remove the late payments.Business Response

On the companies bill they added late fees to which I called customer service and they said they had deleted. But when I got another bill from them the fees had not been deleted and they added more late fees. Citi card is making it impossible to rectify a wrongful charge on my credit card. Every time I call they say, we are having system updates and cannot access your account. Please call back 2-3 hours Their online chat ends the chat saying the same thing. They say they cannot locate an account with my exact card number and my social security number. Its a ring around process with no employee who knows anything. All customer service seems to be third party and can barely speak English. They closed my dispute without even contacting me to make it right. They did not send me the documentation on the appeal they claim they sent. They are wrongfully keeping the charge and not refunding me my money. In the image I attached, I was never send the documentation the chat is referring to- both of them. Citi card has ignored me since this dispute started and made getting ahold of customer service just about impossible. I enrolled my **** consumer wireless bill in AutoPay and paperless billing at **** in Feb 2023 to earn a $10 or $20 statement credit toward its bill with qualifying spend. I spent 2 hours by calling to ************ ( on the back of my card) speaking with unprofessional representatives from Citi Bank. They are forwarding me to **** phone # ************. So After speaking and chatting with them for over 3 hours I complained to BBB about ****, and from the executive office ************ was told that my reward should come from citi credit card, not from ****. I already responded on Aug 14, 2023 and on sept 9th. I haven’t received any resolution of this problem. Citi representative played naive that I had signed and in couple days unsigned of paper statements and auto pay. This lady who called me and then sent a letter proves that she doesn’t want to do anything with this.
So I earned $40 and can’t received them. I opted out from Citi credit card, and not going to use it anymore.
As on the previous response to bbb.org I mentioned that AT&T representative responding to my claim accepted that I fulfilled all requirements and even citi worker did when I called, only he said can’t help me to change anything.
It is so sad that citi openly shows their attitude regarding resolving the problem, citi leaves how it is.
