    I purchased two products from Il Makiage under a "Try Before You Buy" program. The program stipulates that you pay shipping and they put a temporary authorization on your credit card and will only charge the card 30 days after the product is delivered if you do not initiate a return. At this point, they will charge the card.The products I purchased under this program were: 1. **** *** ******** Concealer Shade #2.5 [Order *********] $32.86 2. Power Redo Wrinkle Fix [Order *********] $73.14 I attempted to return these products within the 30 day period but was unable to, as their website either did not recognize the order number or would not generate a return label. I then broke my ankle and underwent surgery and was not able to follow up with customer service until May 13. I reached out via email requesting to return the products. They made my skin break out in rash and hives. Nowhere did it state that I would be unable to return the products per a normal return after my cards had been charged. I have attached an image showing the "Try Before You Buy" literature. Nowhere does it state we can NOT return the products if they are defective after we are charged.Customer service is denying me the right to return the products and get a refund. I believe this is fraudulent marketing and an attempt to obfuscate the return process by failing to generate return labels on the website and then denying customer service via email.

    I ordered some concealer from this company, and although it was overpriced, I do like the product. However, I knew when I ordered it that I wouldn't be using it much. I absolutely did not sign up for recurring ************ my surprise, I suddenly got a charge on my ****** for, an upcoming shipment.I contacted the company by email, they told me I had to have opted in for the recurring shipments, but that is a lie. I absolutely did not opt in for that.I told them that I want to cancel. They're recurring shipments, and they said that I have to do so in my account, even after I told them that I tried and there is no way to, the best I can do is delay the next shipment.They still refuse to cancel all future shipments. I tried again. I have pressed every button in my account and there is no option to cancel.This is a horrible way to do business.

    However, I want to reiterate that this company does business in a bad way.

    I absolutely did not opt in for more shipments. I need from the beginning, got this. A container of concealer would last me a very long time since I don't use much. That's the only reason I kept it, given that it was overpriced.

    And then, If a customer asks to cancel a recurring shipment, just cancel it.

    Don't tell them to go into their account online, particularly keeping in mmind the elderly!

    Clearly, it's possible to do since they did so after a bbb complaint, but it shouldn't take a complaint to accomplish that.

    There are a lot of elderly women who are still trying to look good on a small budget.

    I find apps and online accounts irritating at fifty four, at seventy four, it might be beyond me.

    Do better, please ??

    I received a product without ordering it. Theyve taken money out of my checking account. ******** purchased any product from them since 2024. I dont have a current email from them either informing me that something was purchased and I sent an email to cancel my subscription January 2025.

    I tried them about 2 years ago and was disappointed. I thought, why not try them again. Only this time, I was still disappointed. I told them Id be returning the products and that they no longer had any authorization to charge my account or make any further transactions to my account. I explicitly said to cancel everything. This was on 4/21. Of course, I see that today they have ran an additional $120.84 on my account. They are scammers. Their foundation match promise and coverage is absolute c*** I could by a $12 bottle of covergirl and get better coverage than spending $120 for foundation that makes me look pale and does horrible coverage. Absolute rip off and everyone should avoid any dealings with this company altogether.

    I purchased a free trial of makeup in which I was allowed to try a foundation for 14 days before being charged for it. If I didnt like it I could return it free of charge. After reading the terms of the free trial agreement, which clearly stated I was under no obligation to buy, a pop up appeared on the next screen asking if I wanted my post-trial purchase to be an annual supply of the makeup for an extremely discounted rate. I clicked yes.I ended up not liking the makeup and do not want to buy it after the free trial. However the company alleges that when I upgraded to the annual package, that essentially overturned the free trial agreement and now I am roped in to paying $95 for this makeup that I dont want.

    I had visited the Il Makiage website to see their prices. I had to create an account and add a method of payment for a trial order which if not satisfied, I could return the product. But then I read the fine print and it stated the trial order would be two weeks and if you did not return the items, $82.09 would be charged to my credit card. As soon as I saw that, I decided or felt this was a scam and so I cleared my cart, leaving nothing in order. Well, every single day, I keep getting emails from my credit card that they declined the order for $82.09 because the balance on my credit card is not enough. I did not go through with the order, I deleted the item out of my shopping cart and deleted their website from my search history. They continue to bill my credit card everyday for something I didnt order or trial for. I had to lock my credit card and they continue to keep charging that amount on a daily basis hoping it goes through. I tried calling, they stayed to email them instead, which I have, but no response so there is no way to get anyone on the phone nor get a reply from the email sent. I am asking that they stop charging my credit card for something I never ordered, not even a trial order.

    I subscripted IL Makiage "No Filter" two years ago. Now I don't want it anymore, I notified them by email, and by cancelation on their website. But they sent me an email saying I cannot cancel the item, because it is "Annual subscription". I never wanted to sign a "prepaid annual subscription". It is totally unacceptable.

    I paid $1.00 for a free sample from this company, IL MAKIAGE and then they took it upon themselves to put me in their auto-replenishment deal and send me more makeup for an amount of $75.00. I haven't been charged just yet but it is going through authorization on my ******. I learned my *******

    I sent the company an email in February of ****************************** their products cause I don't wear makeup everyday I thought everything was fine until I received another without ordering today. I plan on returning the product. I can't actually speak to a human regarding my complaint only via email.
