On March 17, 2025, I created my account and started the process. By March 25, *** contacted me and said they received my documents from NY school and will begin to process my evaluation with a complete date by Apri 7, 2025. I was able to expedite the process and got a completion date of April 1, 2025. I paid for express shipping 3-5 days and it is now April 16, and I still haven't received my package nor is there any update on the tracking in over a week. After multiple calls, they seem to not have a resolution for ne and I NEED my physical copy as my livelihood depends on it. My Reference # is *******.

Dear BBB,I am writing to file a formal complaint against World Education Services (***) for a delay in the delivery of an official academic credential evaluation report that was paid for and expected to be delivered within the promised timeframe. On March 31, 2025, I submitted and paid for a duplicate evaluation report through the *** platform. The report was sent to ***************************** using the Domestic 3 to 5 business days delivery method, as advertised on their website. *** indicates that the report was sent on April 1, 2025, which means delivery should have occurred no later than April 7 or 8, 2025.However, based on the **** tracking information, the package is still in transit and will likely only be delivered by April 10, 2025, which exceeds the promised timeframe and puts my academic deadlines at ********* is a summary of the **** tracking history:Pre-Shipment **** Awaiting Item: April 4, 2025 Accepted at ******* NY ******************** April 6, 2025 12:28 AM Arrived at NORTHWEST ********* ** ******************** April 6, 2025 1:43 AM Departed same facility: April 6, 2025 6:09 AM In Transit to Next Facility: April 6, 2025 9:06 AM Arrived at ********** PA ******************** April 6, 2025 11:55 AM Departed ********** **: April 6, 2025 3:08 PM Arrived at ********** PA ******************** April 6, 2025 3:20 PM This delay shows a clear disconnect between the service delivery time advertised and the actual processing and mailing timeline. I spent $163 for me to get my international diploma evaluated by *** on December 7th, January 8th they said my transcript was evaluated and it was shipped out. Weeks passed and I didnt receive my transcript so I called them. They told me I needed to email them which I did and I never got a helpful response, instead they are saying I needed to order a duplicate order. We are now in April and I never got my transcript or even a refund for my Inconvenience. I reached out to the post office and they said that since the order doesnt have a tracking number it is *** responsibility to send a new one or give me a refund since it wasnt insured. I am tired of fighting with them and it is not fair to me to spend so much money on something that I never received. They are very unprofessional and do not care about my deadline or money that I have spent. On March 30th I ordered another duplicate because I got a call from a school that I applied to and they needed my transcript in order for them to move forward and I can be accepted for summer classes, I paid extra for priority shipping and they have yet to ship out the transcript, which ***** because I missed the deadline and I have to wait until the fall to register. I am deeply saddened by this company and I wished I never used them to begin with.

I paid for *** to have my Bachelors and Masters degrees verified with the Canadian Immigration authorities. I submitted both documents to them electronically, through the degree service Parchment, as requested. (This was in fact the *only* way I could submit both documents). After months of delay, they finally listed my Bachelors degree as being accepted, but said my Masters had been sent through the wrong channel and needed to be sent electronically via Parchment. Again, there is *no other method* to request a degree from my academic institutions. It is literally impossible they received the degree inappropriately. I even have formal verification from Parchment that the documents were sent and received appropriately.I attempted to initiate customer service requests to fix this and got the runaround multiple times. I was directed to use a malfunctioning chatbot, to use a 'contact us' submission box to which I never received replies, I was even hung up on multiple times. Finally, I managed to contact a supervisor who appeared to be making some progress with the issue ... at which point, *six full months* after I had originally submitted my order, *** decided I had timed out the window in which to send my documents and closed my case.I even had to pay a fee to reopen my case just so I could continue to use ***** awful customer service system, and to date, have not had my case resolved.

I am filing a formal complaint against World Education Services (***) due to an unreasonably long delay, repeated reactivation charges, and failure to provide the credential evaluation service I paid for.I originally submitted and paid for a course-by-course evaluation with **** in December 2021. *** requested transcripts for both my Masters and undergraduate degrees, which I submitted. Later, they requested additional transcripts for my National Diploma (ND)a prerequisite for my undergraduate degree through ******** direct-entry system. Despite difficulty in obtaining these older records from the institution, I eventually had them sent directly to ***.Despite fulfilling all documentation requirements, *** deactivated my application and asked for re-activation fees, which I have now paid twice, as shown in the attached screenshot:$255.00 on 12/13/2021 $40.00 and $50.00 on 2/18/2023 $50.00 on 2/21/2024 Total paid to date: $395.00 USD Even after receiving all my documents and transcripts, *** claims they are waiting for verification from my ND institution, which already confirmed sending the materials. They are now asking me to pay a third reactivation fee, which I find unacceptable.?Issues:Unjustified Delays: It has been over 3 years since I started this process (********).Double Reactivation Fees Paid: I paid $100 total in reactivation fees, and now they want ********** Clear Status or Communication: *** has failed to provide updates, timelines, or accountability.Impact on My Life: Their delay has prevented me from enrolling in any academic programs, costing me valuable time and opportunities.?Requested Resolution:1.Immediate reactivation of my file without charging another reactivation fee.2.Prompt evaluation and completion of the service I paid for.3.A full update on the status of my application and verification process. I expect *** to be held accountable for the distress and setbacks.

The issue is regarding my school credentials evaluation that I requested from the World Education Services (***) company, for which I paid in full ($273.00) on May 14, 2024. Despite multiple phone calls, emails, and repeated follow-ups, I have yet to receive the evaluation documents I am entitled to. According to ***********, the package was marked as delivered to ****; however, the ******************* shows the package as being returned back to the company address (***). I have not received the documents in question, and this ongoing delay is completely unacceptable. I paid for this service nearly 10 months ago, and I have made every effort to resolve this issue through direct communication. The failure to deliver the service as agreed is a clear breach of contract. I requested multiple times that they provide an immediate update on the status of my documents, but I haven't heard from them. I am writing this to express my deep dissatisfaction with the lack of response and failure to resolve the issue regarding my school credentials evaluation. Also, the company has all of my original documents that I submitted so they could perform my evaluation.

On November 15, 2024, I requested a course-by-course credential evaluation from *** under reference number *******. Nearly three months later, the verification process remains incomplete, jeopardizing my graduate school admission. *** claims to have sent verification requests on December 13 and 18, 2024, and January 29, 2025. Yet, officials at the Nursing and **************************, ****** (****, ******) confirmed they never received the requests.Repeated attempts to seek clarification from *** have been unsuccessful. Although officials at ****, ******, confirmed that **************************** is their primary email address for ***' verifications and has been used successfully for past and recent requests, *** has declined to conduct my verification process via the given official email and has also, refused to confirm the destination of their requests, leading to unnecessary delays.Similarly, during a previous evaluation request (reference number *******) for my job application, I submitted official documents from the *************************** and ****, ****** by March 25, 2022, paying all fees. However, the final evaluation report, received on April 1, 2022, included only my Master of Public Health from the ***************************, omitting my Diploma in Nursing from ****, ******, even though I confirmed the successful delivery of my official transcripts via courier to **************, ****** office. On the *** portal, an update states they last contacted ****, ****** on January 29, 2025, for credential verification. However, my follow-ups with NMTC, Kumasi, who issued my transcripts, and **************************************************************, who issued my diploma certificate revealed no records of correspondence from *** regarding my case, reference number, or name. This prolonged delay, lack of transparency, and failure to take appropriate steps to resolve the situation are causing undue stress and may result in my missed graduate school opportunity.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 03/14/2025

At this time, I have been contacted directly by World Education Services, Inc. regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      Dear BBB Representative,

Thank you for following up on my complaint against World Education Services (***). I appreciate your efforts in seeking a resolution.

Since filing my complaint, I have received a response from *** stating that they have all the required documents and that my evaluation report is estimated to be completed by April 4, 2025. However, this delay has significantly impacted my graduate school applications, as every institution I applied to had strict deadlines that have long since passed. As a result, admissions decisions were made without my *** evaluation report, rendering my request effectively unmet.

Additionally, there was no evidence that *** had contacted either of my former institutions***** ******, or ******or credential verification. Due to this, I had to take the extra step of requesting my former institutions to proactively reach out to *** to confirm my documents. Given that my request has been pending for over five months, I feel that *** has not provided the level of service expected for such an essential and time-sensitive process.

I would appreciate the opportunity for my complaint and final response to be publicly reflected in the BBB Business Profile, as I believe it is important to share my experience with **** prolonged delays. I hope this will help highlight the need for more timely and effective service for others who rely on their evaluations for critical academic and professional opportunities.

Thank you for your time and support.

Hello, I hired *** verification services to assist with validating my university documents. I was charged $322.CAD to verify 2 documents. I. have been waiting since October 5th for the process to be completed. Yesterday, I logged into my account to see if any progress had been made and I informed that I now need to pay an additional $52USD to "reactivate" my account as it has now reach 180 days. My initial request and payment for document verification has not been completed, how can my account go inactive if the service I paid for was not completed? Please kindly assist as getting customer service and responses to emails or through their links just takes you around and around in circles.
