Terrible terrible service!!!!!! Do not use. (I don't want to give any stars but have to in order to give my review.) I bought tickets several months ago for a game as a present for our twin boys. We also also had to arrange for transportation and hotel so we put a lot of money into this for the game. They say the venue won't release the tickets until the day before for security but it really is just a scam. The morning before the event we get a notice saying our tickets are no longer available so we can have a refund (which is usually just credit, not money back) or we can accept other tickets, which were not as good, but we would not receive the difference in cost. Having already paid for the hotel and transportation, not to mention two disappointed kids, I really didn't have too much of a choice. Seat Geek told me I accepted their terms. Really? I agreed to being scammed us out of $500 and bad seats? The day before the event? Very bad business practice. I will never use again and I will definitely make sure I tell others not to use their services ever as well.

Purchased tickets that were shown as $206 total for two tickets. Used ***** *** and was charged $850 with no confirmation screen. Instantly reported to seat geek to void the transaction. This glitch ruined a birthday surprise and we just wanted our money back. We were told that all they could do was give us a promo code which needed to be used over one transaction over the next 365 days. if theres any amount left over we need to request that they replenish the full $850. We rarely purchase tickets and when we do, they are never expensive. Received Absolutely zero remorse from customer service and the process to get the tickets back to seat geek to get our promo code refund has proven to be difficult. Our other option offered by seatgeek was to sell our tickets in which we would be out well over $300 in taxes and fees which is $100 more than we originally wanted to pay and we wont be going ti the concert. The worst part is that with the credit we will have to deal with this terrible company again. Zero out of five stars. Find someone else to buy your tickets through.

One doesn't need to read to many reviews to figure out this business is run by scam artists. For my event the ticket price was shown, but then on checkout nearly 50% of the ticket price was added to the ticket price for their fee. There is no transparency, why not show the full price and give the buyer an idea of what they're paying before they finalize the transaction? I tried to cancel the transaction with my credit card and to get a refund from Seat Geek but they advise you to resell the tickets and pay their fee all over again. I don't have an issue with the ticket price this they volunteer, but to tack on a ridiculous fee at the end of the transaction is just not acceptable. I will do everything possible to communicate this to other users to help prevent them from making the same mistake. I would give them 0 stars but the minimum is one.
