On May 19th I went to the **************** Outlets location and encountered a lovely racist employee. This employee was quite openly racist and treated everyone different as you can imagine I am black, and guess what she is? Anyways, I don't tolerate racism as I was raised by a white woman who didn't raise me that way. Any-who they had bathing suits in the store, someone lighter than me asked to try on the bathing suits and was given a fitting room, a few minutes later I grabbed the same bathing suits (they were having a huge sale) I was told by an employee that I can't try them on I said why not? So, the lovely racist came over and told me " I can't try on any bathing suits, that goes for everyone." Mind you I just saw someone a few minutes go in before me trying on the same bathing suits with no issue. I said isn't that funny I said because you guys just let someone in to try on the same two bathing suits and they were lighter skin isn't that ironic. She had no reply raised her voice and said, "NOBODY CAN TRY ON THE BATHING SUITS", want to know something funny? The light skin person they let try on the bathing suit was actually my mom. Scroll up and you can catch on to exactly what's going on here. So, she allowed my light skin mom to try it on but me no way as I am dark skin.I tell my mom what happened so we both proceed to leave, and this lovely racist is talking about me to her employee. I was like wow how professional, for you to be ignorant, degrade someone in public and think you will get away with it. Anyways I contacted customer service 5/19/24 when it happened its 6/24/24 I have gotten zero phone calls from management, I have spoken a few times with one gentleman who seemed empathetic but there has been no call to me, or any follow up and it's been over a month. I guess this company is okay with racism and this ladies' actions. I found out she's done this before and she's in management so maybe that's why they don't care. Way to go.Review from Dee W

I paid hundreds of dollars for this jewelry just to wear it for less than 2 months. The gold jewelry tarnished and turned black. I tried to get a replacement just to be told that it was no longer under warranty. I bought items to be given as future gifts just to open them and they were no longer gold. Of course I was told they too were out of warranty. For the amount I paid for these items, I could have purchased 14k gold items!Review from Natasha C

I ordered a pair of shoes after I had updated my address twice the system still went to the old address. I called Literally minutes after I placed the order and was refused help to just update the adddress and told to watch *** tracking and then have them hold package for pick up. *** subcontracts out to **** and MK knows this as well and knows it cant be stopped or corrected. Why couldnt they just help before sending it to the wrong place to begin with. Im out over $300 now for no reason. Horrible customer service and I will no longer be shopping with them. Please be cautious buying from MK. Theyve gotten too big and popular so theyve forgotten what made them a luxury brand to begin withReview from Sumita B

I recently had an incredibly disappointing customer service encounter with **********************, which stands out as the worst I've ever experienced. It's astonishing to witness such treatment from a renowned brand like Michael Kors. My ordeal began at the Michael Kors outlet in Deer Park, when I attempted to return a pair Boots on January 27th. I tried explaining my situation, highlighting my absence due to international travel and subsequent illness. Store manager, *******, was unprofessional and offered only a fraction of the original price as store credit. . This was baffling considering I had originally paid $120 for the boots, which were being returned in impeccable, brand-new condition. Reluctantly, I accepted the $65 store credit, despite the fact that the boots were initially purchased for $120. Later, I discovered that the same boots were listed online for $79, directly contradicting the store's valuation of $65. This inconsistency not only disappointed me but also raised significant concerns about the integrity of Michael Kors' customer service. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue with customer service, no satisfactory action was taken. I demand a full refund and accountability for ********* behavior.It's now been a month, and I haven't heard anything from Michael Kors. I've spent an exorbitant amount of time following up, making numerous calls just to get my own money back, which is absolutely ridiculous. All I'm asking for is that Michael Kors stops deceiving its customers and refunds the money rightfully owed to me for the boots returned in perfect condition. Refused to process a return on an unused handbag, with tags on, in original packaging, with receipt. Item purchased in-store and return attempt was in the same store. Contacted customer service and they said returns are at the discretion of the store manager. This is nowhere in their return policy.Review from Teri M

I received a gift card for Michael Kors. I attempted to make a purchase but the website required a credit card even though there was more than enough on the gift card. I left the website and when I returned to it my cart always empty. I reentered my order and when I tried to check out that amount of money has been deducted from the card. I called Michael Kors 4 times and every time I was told to try back days later. Their customer service is over seas and most of the reps were rude. I just want all to know if this happens to you to have the person who gave you the card dispute the charge for the gift card with their credit card company. I did and they credited them right away. I will NEVER purchase from Michael Kors again!! Hopefully you all do this and Michael Kors has no more victims.Review from Jacqueline S

A MK purse I purchased started having the seams on the strap start coming loose right about a year after purchase with in a few months it was completely coming apart and looked very ragged. When I contacted them they would not warranty the purse because it had passed the year warranty time. I looked up information on their warranty and even if it was within the year I would still have to cover shipping to and from the repair company in another state. They sent me contact info for the repair company and the cost of fixing this plus shipping would be nearly half the cost of the purse. I thought I was buying QUALITY however I could not be more wrong. Michael Kors purses are poor quality, bad workmanship and they do not stand behind their product.Review from Pang M

I am usually a pretty loyal MK customer but after my 3rd purse in less than 4 years of this same issue, I won't be supporting MK anymore. The seams and outside borders of the purses always falls apart and MK won't repair it or warranty it even though I just bought the last recent one in March, it's been 9 months of careful use. This occurs on their crossbody bags and backpacks. It's either the straps or seams on the purse. What a waste of money!!I filed a warranty and repair form and they said they won't cover it.Review from Tera Y
