      This company changed its policies on cutoff dates for box cancelation (everyplate) and DID NOT INFORM ME. I went to cancel by the THURSDAY like it had always been for me. When I tried to get a refund they told me it was too late that I needed to cancel before then. Yet THE COMPANY SECRETLY CHANGED IT POLICY. I did not have the money for this service and due to their misconduct I now am facing financial issues. DO NOT TRUST THEM

      I had reactivated my account as i was looking to see if they updated their menu offerings. For some reason i wasn't able to view it otherwise. I wasn't interested in anything and i cancelled the account. I then get a notification of a pending for a delivery. I contacted hellofresh and was told even if you cancel the service on your account, it's not a full deactivation and you have to call them to do that.THEN MAKE THAT CLEAR TO CUSTOMERS WHEN THE ATTEMPT IS MADE. I was given my refund, great, but then i get an email a few days later with the subject "your menus" and opened the email and scrolled to read it. Today I see that my account was charged, and a box was being delivered to my house! I called hellofresh who said that I attempted to utilize a promotion and my account was reactivated. Apparently one's ***** ID can be somehow synced with hellofresh and automatically reactivates your account without you knowing. All by reading an email. This is theft. I was unable to get my full refund because the box was already being delivered. I don't even know what's in there. Do yourself a favor. DO NOT OPEN ANY emails from them. **** your own ****** food and spare yourself from the nonsense.

      I had used Hello Fresh through the pandemic as a "back up" source of food. Occasionally I would order but the majority of the time I would skip weeks on the **** If there was a week with decent food I would order. I was awakened by my bank sending alert that my CC was used. I see it is Hello Fresh charging *****. I hurried to the *** on my phone and it was not working would not accept my log in , did not recognize my touch open as it had for 2 yrs . I called customer service at 3 am got a recording to call back called at 6 and got a lady who did not care the *** was not working .I was told I had to accept the box as it was too late to cancel even though the site would not recognize me as a member . I was very upset with her. I said I don't even know what food is being sent and I didn't order anything. I have to accept this box that will arrive in 3 days. I don't want it I have no idea what is in it . I will never deal with this company again.

      Did not like that they choose your meal and they website you have to enter your credit card before even choosing the meal you want. Once I cancel it via the account setup they still delivered my and charged me. There should be a choose than pay and confirm button and not pay before you even dont know if you like it or not. What a scam.To get people credit card even before they even think if they like to buy or not.

      Great concept, decent food, horrible customer service. Recipes are good, but plan on meal prep taking much longer than they estimate and messy meat juices that leak through the packaging (happened with all five boxes I ordered), and if you have a problem just know that they will not help you resolve anything! A product is only as good as the service of its provider.

      I was looking at my credit card transactions and saw a charge from them. so I tried chatting online with them. The first person stated that they couldn't find my account and I replied with, that is because I don't have an account with y'all but y'all are charging my card. then they wanted all of my information and i told them that i would not be giving them any of my information. i saved the entire chat. Then i contacted my credit card company and explained everything thing to them. they were going to get it back on my card and block any future transactions from this company.

      AWEFUL!!!! Do not use. I have another meal delivery plan and decided to try HelloFresh to change things up. Short version, I signed up and instantly locked out of changing my first delivery date or food choices because I was past the deadline to make changes (1min after signing up). I chatted with a Rep and was assured my account would be canceled, card would not be charged and a box would not be shipped. The exact opposite happened and I'm trying to cancel/get refund again. Hard PASS.

      I asked for a refund for a box that I didnt receive and after the 5th call I finally received a refund. And last week I asked to cancel my account and now their saying I didnt ask to cancel my account so they processed another order and their telling me they wont refund my money for that because they cant cancel it!! This company literally has the worst customer service ever.

      The concept of Hello Fresh is good. The problem is that when you deactivate your account they continue to send food and charge your payment method which is required to participate in the program. I deactivated my Account April 16 and have continued to receive food until May 10. I talked to a customer service rep and the phone call ended with pretty much a sorry about your luck response. No credit, no voucher, no effort, no concern. I contacted ****** and complained and removed the payment method from ****** to ensure that there would be no further charges. I am not confident in Hello Freshs customer service, procedures and company as a whole.
