On 2/19/2024 I ordered a skirt from eShakti. There was a sizable shipping fee and an estimated arrival date of 3/3/24-3/9/24. It is now 3/19/24 and I do not have the garment. I have emailed with no reply and called to get an automated voicemail message only. I was billed on the date of order, 2/19/2024. I have done business with this company once before, in 2022, and so I trusted them to be as reliable as they were last time. Now that I have been having problems, I see there are others online reporting the same issues.Business Response

I purchased three items (order#*******) from Eshakti around Dec 13, 2023 in the amount of $154.80. Delivery date was supposed to be Jan 4, 2024. On January 7, 2024, I inquired via email about the delivery date. My email was responded to, saying there was a problem with fabrics with two of the items, style #'s ********************** but style # CL0098731 was ready. Over a month ago, via email I cancelled the two items that weren't ready. Finally, in February, I received the item I was waiting for. The item was pants. They were very cheaply made so I requested to send them back. On March 2, 2024, (authorization request # ******), the item was sent back. I called on March 6th and 13th, leaving a message about my refund with no response. On March 9th, I sent a detailed email with no response to date. I called today March 19th, but did not leave another message.Business Response

I purchased a dress on eshakti.com in the amount of $65.90 on 11/16/2023 and was told the dress would arrive within a reasonable timeframe of 7-10 days. After that time passed and the dress had not yet arrived, i checked the status online which revealed the dress was not anywhere near completion. I requested a cancellation and a refund on 1/5/2024. On 1/9/2024, ***** from **************************** replied with an email stating my order will be cancelled and the amount paid will be credited to my account within 5-7 days. That has still not happened. On 2/29/2024, I emailed their customer service requesting a status on my refund, and have yet to recieve a response or a refund.Business Response

I returned two ill-fitting dresses on or about January 15, 2024, within the refund eligibility timeframe. Despite doing so, I have yet to receive a refund for the items. I've spent hours on the phone trying to get customer service to act on this. The excuse is that while they have received the items, the aren't in a position to issue a refund, and that the department that can do so is overseas. I've been told numerous times that emails have been sent, etc. etc. etc. Nothing has been resolved. Then this morning, after spending nearly an hour trying to get through to customer service, I was hung up on by a representative who said she just answers the phone and doesn't know why I have not received my money back. This is theft. I've also attempted emails, left voice mail messages, and nothing, and I mean nothing , has gotten me anywhere. This is by far the WORST business I've ever come across. I want my refund. Not store credit....a FULL REFUND. It's been two months. There is no excuse for this.Business Response

While one item was refunded in cash, the other was not. I reject store credit as it was requested and approved by an EShakti customer service representative that the store credit only item would be fully refunded due to the extreme delay in recognizing the items were returned to the company and in the companys possession. Emails send by the customer service representatives sent to the overseas finance department will show this I reject this solution and demand a full cash refund as i will never do business with EShakti ever again

I placed an order on February 15, 2024 for a dress. My order number is ******* and the dress style is CL0100452. I was supposed to receive the order by March 5, 2024 but as of today (March 18th) have still not received it. On their website, my order tracking has shown the dress in the ******************** phase for at least two weeks. I have emailed several costumer service emails with no response, including ***************************** **************** and ****************** I have also filled out the contact form on their website and tried calling during business hours (I was not able to speak with a representative and left a voicemail). It has been several months since this company has stopped fulfilling my orders. I have received the same email message several times that your fabric log had quality issues and they will send me an estimated date of delivery and keep me updated on the status of my orders. They have not fulfilled their promise to do either. At this point I have no confidence that they intend to fulfill any of my outstanding orders and request an immediate refund of all outstanding items. I placed an order for 4 items on Nov 20, 2023 that had a delivery date of December 2023. I received the order January 30 2024 with 2 items. 1 item was sent separately and 1 was canceld. 2 items were defective and I returned them on 1/31. It is now March 2024 and the refund has not been processed. I placed a new order on 1/30 with a delivery date of Feb 2024.
