Can not process payments to my vendor. Melio has cancelled my ability to do so on their end but will not allow me to sign up for another bill pay service. No customer service is available. They are not responding to emails.Business Response

On Oct 1, 2023, I used Melio to charge my business credit card (for a fee) to send a payment due to ***** ***** Auto. On Oct 2, 2023, I got the email below from Melio saying the transaction was canceled and that NO FUNDS were taken from the account. Because of this I made a separate payment to ***** ***** Auto. Even though I received this email saying the transaction was canceled, I checked our BofA business card and on Oct 3, 2023, Melio had charged $722.83 for the ***** ***** payment plus $20.96 for their processing fee. I have emailed them repeatedly since Oct 3, 2023. I took me 4 emails before they responded and their team keeps claiming they are researching the issue and will not refund the money. This has gone on for over a week. Today I received a template email stating the same thing as the previous email but still no refund. At this point, I am so frustrated. Melio is a third part company that makes Mortgage and Car payments by allowing you to use your credit card. Date of transactions Sep 30 and Oct 1. My payment of ******* was rejected by ***** Fargo due to payment limit restrictions. I was told by Melio to resubmit the pay of ******* again. The payment was rejected a second time. However, Melio deducted the ******* twice from my **************** card. There is no one to contact other than Bot articles they want you to read to solve your own problem. Can't find a phone number to speak with a live person. In the mean time I have a ******* bill on my AMEX that's due. I have enclosed both denied transactions and my AMEX deductions.Business Response

Melio Payments have not delivered an ACH payment even a week after they **** the money from our account. They are not responding to our emails and answering the calls. Automated replies from their chatbot and recorded messages do not help. At this point, there is serious suspicion that Melio Payments is fraudulent. Legal action will be started if Melio does not sort this out immediately.Business Response

I am having issues with Melio making changes in my QuickBooks account without my knowledge or consent. We signed up for online QuickBooks and as far as I know, we did not sign up for Melio, but it is part of QuickBooks online. When I first noticed this issue, I contacted QuickBooks to find out why, and how these changes are being made since this is not a function I use or have activated. I was told that I need to reach out to Melio since this is coming from their program. The phone number that is found online for Melio is a recording saying to log into your account to chat with a live agent or send an email. Since I do not have an account with **********************, I sent an email on 9/22/23 explaining my situation. I finally got a response back on 9/27 telling me to reach out to Intuit and after explaining that I was told by Intuit to reach out to them, she responded by saying she has requested to have my account deleted from ********************** within the next ***** hours. I have attached that email chain. This morning I came in to find the same transaction was changed again! From pulling my audit log in QuickBooks, Melio has made changes 7 times to this transaction. My main concern is how many other changes has Melio made that is not caught in my books, or someone else's. This is an accounting software, the reports that is ran from this software goes to banks for financial needs, governments for tax purposes and owners to be able to make informed decisions for the better of the employees and the company. The changes that were made were for over $20,000. This is a huge problem and not being able to talk to someone live and get this resolved in a timely manner is very frightening. I found online that this is a glitch in the software. I dont understand why this glitch isnt fixed if it is known to happen.Customer Answer

Melio's customer service is non-existent. After confirming my account is activated multiple times (After waiting for weeks for customer service responses), I am still unable to send any payments. Their inability to accept my payments is confusing, as they collect a fee. Melio took payment for a company HFA consulting. I paid with my credit card to receive services which were not received. I filed a chargeback and melio said they claim no responsibility, they are just a payment processor that takes money and gives it to another party. They should be able to get the money back if they are representing the company.Business Response

Melio used to be a good service. Schedule a same day ACH and it went without issue. Now, they decide after taking the money from your account to not send it for 3 days. We are not talking about payments to people that have never had money sent to them, we are talking about repeatedly used vendors. When a person sets up a same day ACH, what makes Melio think they have a right to just change the delivery date and not offer us an opportunity to change the method of payment? They pull the funds and sit on them for days before sending them and we are left to put up with calls from vendors threatening to cut off our services or seek legal action. When I requested a refund, they said 3 to 5 business days. If you can take the money within a day you can return it within a day. Give me back my funds now so I can pay the bills and prevent further issues from transpiring. I want my money back as well as all fees incurred due to this decision made by them as the fees would have been missed completely had they just done what they were asked to do and sent the money same day or at least offer us an opportunity to cancel and send the money another way.Business Response

Melio prompted me to sign in and pay from QB Desktop. This was for my personal books. Melio then allowed me to pay two bills. Following this, the 2nd bill was rejected and my account was closed, because it was a personal account. This part is fine. BUT, a $1975 payment WAS paid, and Melio switched it to ACH and not my vendor. So, the $1975 was taken from my bank account and given to the wrong vendor. And I cannot trace it or follow up because the account was closed by **********************. AND, I have tried numerous times with Melio support, which closes my chat and doesn't answer or help. Melio withdrew money from our business bank account to pay multiple invoices for our vendors. The payments never reached our vendors and we have not been refunded our money. Melio has non existent customer service so there is no way to resolve the issue.Our bank has disputed the charges and says it cannot retrieve the funds from Melio.Business Response
