      I went to city md located on *******, **, with my toddler son to have his finger looked at after a door closing on his finger. I was not home at the time and initially thought his finger was caught when a car door closed (wife not fluent in English). I paid the copay for my health insurance but was later told by the manager, *****, that it needed to be filed as motor vehicle accident and that it will go through my car insurance. When I spoke to my wife again, she said she never said car door and that I mustve misheard- the door is not from a car but from a bedroom door. When I relayed the message to *****, she stated since I initially stated it was from a car door, that it cannot be changed. I tried to explain what happened, that there was a misunderstanding between my wife and I due to language barrier, but she still insisted on filing through my car insurance.

      The CityMD at ************* has displayed a high level of incompetence that is about to cost me my education. A lab result which was supposed to be given to me is taken a longer time and they lied to be the first time that its available when its not, after wasting time, I was told it is not available, I came back the 7th day again and still the result is not available. This is is going to cost me a lot if I dont get it before Monday 1st of April.

      On 01/10/24- went to city MD for the following symptoms: fever, chills, cough, chest pain when coughing, sore throat and mucus. I was told I had a 101 fever and I was told that I had to be tested for Covid/flu. The practitioner comes in and after I tell her all my symptoms, she immediately says I have Covid or the flu, she listens to my breathing, looks in my ears, and that was the extent. I told her that I had a sore throat, but she did not look in my throat. Leaves the room and said shell be back in 15 minutes when the Covid test comes back with results. The Covid test came back negative. She walked in and said I came in too early for that test to show that its positive and I need to come back in when Im sicker. She wanted to send the culture out I told her I did not want to do that as I dont believe that is what I have. I expressed to her that maybe its bronchitis and I would like to have an x-ray done but that wasnt possible since the x-ray tech left even though they were still open for another 2 hours. I was sent home with prednisone and an inhaler. Went back on 1/14/24 as I was not any better. My throat had now developed white pus within my tonsils and on the roof of my mouth and was in excruciating pain. Thought maybe it was strep- they did a culture and it came back negative. Again was dismissed with viral pharyngitis can cause all of this and when asked why I could not receive antibiotics his response was If you dont have it, you will receive negative affect such as diarrhea and stomach pain vs actually treating you. Was sent home again with more prednisone. Was able to follow up with and ENT on 1/16/24 and the ENT was shocked that I was not give antibiotics as well. He prescribed antibiotics they took a culture of my throat came back positive for mold infection. Ive uploaded my medical record/results from my ent and pictures of my throat.

      I went in for a visit earlier this month for *** treatment. I am being charged $300 despite only being in there for about 10 minutes. I was told by my doctor to go to an urgent care for immediate medication to prevent kidney/further infection. Insurance is only covering part of this but $300 for a non-emergency visit is ridiculous considering I was in for minimal time for emergent medication.

      Went with my daughter to CityMD Manahawkin ** because she needed a physical for a new job. I was told by receptionist that they dont accept my insurance for this. I paid the bill which totaled $285 (225 for exam and 60 for tb test). Since then I found out thru my insurance (horizon bcbs cwa unity direct) that the visit should have been covered. I have submitted claims to both horizon and citymd, made numerous phone calls, and have still not received my money back. The bill is dated 10/12/2023.The billing department is under the name Summit Medical Group, ** *** ***** ******* ** *****. Phone **************.Any help is appreciated.

      I accompanied my grandmother to a CityMD location in Queens, **. She has multiple insurance policies, including ******** and a ******** advantage plan. This plan fully covers urgent care visits. CityMD charged me $60 for the visit, refusing to process the visit through the insurance policy that covers the visit.

      I want my follow up visit charge refunded. I visited City MD **** ** in March ************************** my head. It was not removed completely at the time, one was left, but I didnt know. I went home and the one left in my head became infectious after two months. I called City MD **** ** to discuss this issue, and I was told by whoever on the other side of the call to come for a free follow-up since the first visit didnt resolve the issue by leaving one stitch in my head. I hope you understand that this is very unfortunate that the doctor left a stitch, it has caused me anxiety and discomfort, and this was not a situation I should be responsible for. The wound did not heal because of the left stitch and I was so worried it would ramp up to something bad. So I went for the second visit and it was in June. However, I still got this bill shortly after, so I called **** ** to double check, and they confirmed it should be a follow up and that they did annotate it as a follow-up visit for my special situation. Then I called the customer service of ******************** and explained the situation, but they kept repeating it was not a follow-up visit because it was two months later, even though I explained I was instructed by **** ** location to come for a free follow-up. I was appealing to City MD to void this bill since it was agreed on as a follow-up visit.My appeal to amend received no response either.

      I went to City MD On January 14 for a sore throat . I had white pus in the back of my throat the doctor ******************************* looked at my throat and I was told I didnt have strep A it came back negative. I was told from ******* he was going to prescribe antibiotics and pain pills . I went to the pharmacy and only received mouth wash , sore throat ******************* I Called the office of City MD A Hour Later asking why why Doctor ******* didnt give me the antibiotic , I was told my strep test came back negative and I told the doctor something is wrong Im in pain my right ear is hurting & I can hardly speak . Days later I went back to City MD January 17 at 3pm asked for antibiotics because my ear is hurting now and I can hardly speak or eat . The doctor looked at it and see its red all by the throat and told me I have to go to the ** because my airway is almost about to close & I can hardly speak once again & eat anything or swallow .

      01/16/24 Asking for a routine tb paper to be filled out so I can start a job I did my shots there 8/31/22 and all I asked the doctor to fill out the paper they said it cost 225 dollar after I did the appointment with them I cant use insurance

      I visited City MD 12/27/2023 for covid testing. They do not take straight ******** and was informed I Will be billed $225 for treatment. I agreed. I was then seen by **************************. She asked what medication I was taking currently I told her mu asthma pump and naproxen for my migraines. She listened to my lungs and then prescribed prednisone. I'm now in debilitating pain as my my stomach and sides are painful to touch and I have severe internal abdominal pain. After researching what may be causing me pain I discover that prednisone is NOT to be taken with NSAIDS. I clearly stated I was on Naproxen (NSAID) and she never told me to stop while taking prednisone. I now have to go to Hospital to detirmine if I am just experiencing stomach bleeding or if I have an ulcer caused by the mixing of medication. I a patient and civilian do not have the medical knowledge to know I had to stop taking naproxen to take prednisone, I informed the doctor my medications and rely on them to tell me the safe way to take them. The bottle also did not give warning that NSAIDS cannot be taken. This was beyond negligent and now I may suffer permanently due to it. Not to mention the extreme pain I'm currently in
