I cannot even give one star to this company. I strongly advise against working with this moving company.On my moving day, G & M Moving and Storage Corp arrived to pack and load my belongings instead of **************************************. Royal Palm Moving had subcontracted G & M Moving and Storage Corp without informing me. The movers packed my items separately into more boxes, increasing the truck space and costs without consulting me. They used specialized, expensive boxes and charged me extra. I had no choice but to pay whatever they demanded on moving day, risking losing my $800 deposit if I canceled due to the high price. Unfortunately, finding another moving company at that time was not feasible.After loading everything onto the truck, G & M Moving and Storage Corp asked for an additional money in total $5000, far beyond the initial quote of $1588. Furthermore, they failed to deliver my belongings on time and showed little concern despite charging exorbitant fees and knowing the urgency of my items.I have several questions and concerns:Why didn't they send someone to estimate the total price beforehand?Why did ***** Moving Corp come to my house without notifying me, especially since I had not contracted with it?If their movers chose to pack my items separately, leading to increased costs, why wasn't this communicated clearly?The lack of concern for customer problems is evident in their actions.Both ************************************** and G & M Moving and Storage Corp charged me $5000, which significantly exceeded the initial quote of $1588."This G & M Moving and Storage Corp has already had bad review in its sit and also BBB, so who choose this terrible company to come to my house without my permission.Please put this company in black list of moving companies.

Honest and upfront moving company. Their hard work and helping me throughout my moving process is so greatly appreciated.

DO NOT USE. Company 'lost' high valued items and destroyed majority of furniture. Charged an additional $1,200 and held damaged possession until paid. Company was unresponsive.

They were HORRIBLE.They took over 1.5 month to deliver my stuff from NY to LA, which is over beyond their "maximum estimate time."And I asked the driver for the fastest delivery, he told me it was gonna ***********-12 days.Although that driver picked up my stuff was really kind and good person, I personally evaluate him very highly, the nightmare started after that.My stuff didn't arrive after 1.5 month. How would you spend your new life without any of your furniture and appliances? This terrible time broke my back, and I lost my precious time for work because all of my equipments were in the truck.I called the movers (****** ****** *******) many many times but they barely pick up the phone. If they do, you can't expect anything. You can't contact to the carriers... which you're supposed to be able to but they NEVER picked up the phone...The movers don't have the ways to contact the carrier, this is really a stupid and irresponsible system. When finally they arrived, there were many confusions, the driver changed the schedule many times and they didn't tell me they only accept cash and paychecks, but because of their too late notification, I had no time to prepare them.The driver guy treated me like a garbage when he realized that I didn't have cash. (Which I negotiated a few ways to make it up) He lied to me, tricked me and kept cursing me with RACISM WORDS. I cried on the street and people saw it. I have the voice memo with me.But they still NEVER APOLOGIZED to me about it.So so so bad.I need them to show me some respect at least.And they should refund some money for causing massive delay, breaking my back, causing trouble on my work, and for hate crime he made.
