In June of 2021, the warehouse where I have my products shipped to contacted me, letting me know that the contents of the shipment were severely damaged, and they could not unload them. So I drove over to inspect the damages myself. When I arrived, my product was still in the trailer. We carefully unloaded it, and it was clear that a fork-lift had tipped and punctured the pallets, causing breakage and for them to be unstable. I notified Rist of the damage and the cost of replacing the damaged items. I was told I would be reimbursed. Rist Transport was supposed to send someone to assess the damage and never did. The sales person from Rist, Jim H******, told me he would call me back. He never did. My estimated loss just based on cost of the damaged product was $5000.00. Rist insisted that they did an investigation over 100 days, but I saw and heard from no one during that time. The reimbursement I received from the company three months later was a check for $54.00, which is a JOKE. The next shipment came in, so of course, considering the last time, I came to inspect it. When I did so, I noticed that a case was missing. Upon further inspection, I noticed the bottoms of many cases had been opened, and many bottles had been removed from the cases. I was SHOCKED. I have never in 20 years had these sort of issues from a shipping company. Once again I called Jim H******, the sales rep for Rist, to report the issue of theft. He was surprised to hear what happened and promised to get back to me. Again, he NEVER DID. I tried repeatedly to get a resolution for my losses due to Rist. Gabrielle from Rist emailed me, saying she would forward the theft to the claims department. When I followed up with her a few days later, she informed me they were not going to reimburse me at all, and then closed my account. Even though I have always paid on time, in full. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.
