      Bought an umbrella and it came out of the box broken and they did not want to replace it. But they first asked me to send them pictures a few time.very bad attitude.

      I recently purchased a Painswick 5-Drawer Accent Chest from Safavieh through *******. The unit frame is sturdy and attractive. It looks great in my bedroom. The problem is the woven basket drawers - they are poorly constructed, giving a serious "drag" and "pull" when opened or closed. Indeed, they "shred" every time they are opened or closed. Safavieh was willing to *talk* about a solution, but was not willing to *provide* one. For some inexplicable reason, they could only provide one basket, not five replacements, and needed to survey their inventory for quality assurance before they could consider replacing the baskets. The "customer support" staff at ********************** were terrible. They don't listen - or don't want to. Thankfully, ******* also saw through their shell game and stepped up, giving me a 40% refund. I would never recommend this company. I only wish I had checked BBB before ordering. I usually do. I think I assumed that ******* would only deal with reputable companies. I will certainly make ******* aware that this business is not BBB-accredited and has a D+ rating from customer reviews.

      I recently purchased the ******** bookcase and was extremely disappointed with both the quality of the item and the customer service I received when following up. The bookcase does not meet the level of craftsmanship I expected and does not align with designer-quality standards.Additionally, the return policy was not clearly communicated, and for an item at this price point, the terms are unreasonable. When I reached out for a resolution, I was met with inflexibility and was told I would only receive a 50% refund and a 50% store creditfar from what I anticipated for a high-ticket purchase.I expect better quality and service, and I hope the company will reconsider its approach to both product standards and customer satisfaction.

      Item arrived damaged with cracks/holes on table top. Received as a house warming gift. Reached out to customer service where they were pretty unhelpful. I was asked for detailed information on the item and damage then was told since its not in stock we cannot offer anything sorry. Make better quality items that way things like this dont happen. Would not recommend to anyone looking for real quality furniture that will last you.

      Terrible quality. Barstools had a foot rest snap along the wood grain with normal use and only 5 months old. **************** would not support and claimed that it was usual wear and tear and outside their 30 day window for support. Absolutely unacceptable and terrible quality.

      The customer purchased a rug from our Farmingdale store on 12/01/2023 and initiated a chargeback on 11/08/2024, nearly a year later, after continuous use. They did not contact us within the designated 7-day return period to report any ********* the rug has been in use from the time of delivery until the date of the chargeback request, it falls outside our return policy. Additionally, the customer was informed of the fiber content prior to purchase.Due to our strict return policy, the return period has been exceeded, and we are unable to process a return, refund, or exchange.Regards, Safavieh ***************

      Order chandelier from ********. ********** had parts broken and missing. Told them I moved and gave new address. They said they would send new parts to complete chandelier. Mailed to my old address anyway. Now they say the send new parts for $550. This is just for a few strands missing. I already paid them $2000 for the light. ******. Never do business with them.

      I ordered two rugs from the exact same collection. They show as matching perfectly online, however when I received them, there is a VAST difference in coloring and even texture. I have emailed and called and am still waiting for some sort of resolution. The man I spoke with the single time I made human contact was very dismissive and was like "I am not even sure of your end goal, here". He said "it's not really our fault if they are different colors". I shared that I felt differently as there is no warning whatsoever that the rugs ordered with identical style numbers would vary, nor do images online show any difference in coloring. He then shared that Safavieh was using a rug company in the ******* (which is no longer working for obvious reasons) and that they switched to a manufacturer elsewhere. He shared that one of my rugs was from the original location and the other, from the new location. I shared that may be the case, and I get it, but they still really need to match, they are side by side in the same room. He said he'd "escalate" it and I'd hear back. It's been a full week. I have sent and resent tons of images. To say I am frustrated would be the understatement of the year. It's not like these rugs were free- they were incredibly expensive...and I chose to order them directly from Safavieh (paying more) vs a 3rd party retailer so that I wasn't at risk for getting off colored rugs or anything weird. So far- so disappointed.

      Purchased 4 patio chairs for $200 each in 2021. Falling completely apart in two years, and as they don't tell you only a 30 day(!!) warranty. Overpriced garbage by a garbage company who does not stand behind their products. Avoid at all costs!

Unfortunately, the customer's order falls outside our warranty coverage.The purchase order for these items was placed in April 2021. Over the course of several years of outdoor use, the product has naturally incurred wear and tear, and environmental factors may have contributed to the issues observed. After a thorough review, we have determined that these issues are not due to defects or manufacturing discrepancies.Given that the product has been in use for approximately 3 years, some level of wear is expected. It is important to note that we, Safavieh, do not provide a manufacturing warranty for this product, and the issues presented extend beyond the coverage provided by our standard 30-day warranty. If coverage such as a protection plan was purchased, the customer can contact the retailer for further details.Please understand that our primary objective is to assist all our customers to the fullest extent possible. However, based on our evaluation, the wicker barstools are showing signs of wear and tear consistent with their age, and the date of purchase places them outside the scope of our warranty coverage.
