Terrible customer service. In fact, there is a sign at the check in/check out window asking you to please remain calm when speaking to the receptionist and I can see why.

Schoharie Dental is a factory. So many hygienists and one dentist who comes by to check patients after a cleaning. There has to be over 20 chairs in this place. I had a filling come out and so I opted for a crown. Waited 3 weeks for an appt with absolutely no problem with that tooth which had a big hole. Dr Z put the temporary crown on and I’ve had nothing but problems. I called repeatedly to complain, went back for her to take a look and she said I wouldn’t have any trouble after the permanent crown went on. Well, $800 later and my tooth is killing me. Went to another dentist for a second opinion and he said she never should have put the permanent crown on with my pain. Now I have to go to a specialist for a root canal at the cost of $1,700-$2,000. Stear clear of this place is my advice and opinion. I’d give zero stars if that was an option

Don't let the beautiful building and chandeliers fool you. This place is like a factory and you are just a number. There are so many dental chairs and hygenists. The customer service is horrible. On my first visit: the cleaning was the quickest cleaning I have ever had. They proceeded to take all of these pictures of my mouth and then show me what my teeth could look like if I purchase invisilign or whatever product they were trying to sell. Never asked my permission to do that or even explain what they were doing. I just thought it was for my dental records. On my second visit, I was waiting for about a half hour and asked the receptionist how long of a wait it would be. She checked and said hygenist was running another 30 minutes late (which I understand but they should have called me or told me when I walked in) and said I could re-schedule. Re-schedule date was 6 months later! And it wasn't even my fault. So I stayed and after 30 minutes I was brought to a dental chair. Waited another 15 minutes with no one telling me how long it was going to be. Walked out of there and signed a release for my records to be sent to my original dentist. It is now almost 2 months and I still can't get those records after a crazy amount of phone calls, speaking with 2 people, and having my dentist office call. Unbelievable! And when I went back to my original dentist, I probably had the most amount of tartar I ever have had. Probably because of the quicky cleaning I received at Schoharie Dental.
